Abstract

Abstract The Air Bengkulu River Basin experiences a frequency of flooding twice a year due to the increase in water discharge during the rainy season. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of peak discharge of the Air Bengkulu River and make a design of floodway control buildings dimensions in the Air Bengkulu River Basin. Rainfall data used in the purposes of this study are rainfall data for the last 10 years (2010-2019). Rainfall analysis plans calculated by statistical methods. The analysis of the planned flood peak discharge was calculated using the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph method with the results of the peak discharge of the Air Bengkulu River for the 2nd, 5th, 10, 20, 25, 50 and 100 year anniversary periods, respectively 557.68 m3/s; 732.85 m3/s; 845.18 m3/s; 955.15 m3/s; 978.80 m3/s; 1074.35 m3/s; and 1166.71 m3/s. Flood canal design analysis is calculated using the manning equation method (try error) using a return period of 25 years with a discharge of 955.15 m3/s; circular canal with a cross-sectional diameter of 18.5 m; with a water level of 14.68 m and a height of 3.82 m; while the canal is square in shape with a base width of 25 m; water level of 5.55 m; and height of 1.45 m guard; able to accommodate the debit plan return period of 25 years.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study purpose is to analyse the impact leadership transformasional and ability towards organization commitment either directly or through job satisfaction as a intervening variable. There are 66 staff involved as respondents in this study, and taken as sampling using census method. Primary data in this study is collected using questionnaire and then analyzed using Likert. Secondary data is obtained from Institution's Annual Report of Sukamandi Apparatus Training Centre (BDA). Furthermore, data is explored using descriptive and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). This study shows leadership transformasional and ability significant impact on organization commitment. Job satisfaction is significant in intervening the effect of leadership transformasional and ability on organization commitment. Keyword: job satisfaction, leadership transformasional, ability, organization commitment. Abstract

The study purpose is to analyse the impact of training, competence, motivation and leadership towards performance either directly or through job satisfaction as a mediator variable. As many as 55 staff are considered as respondents in this research, and census method is used as the sampling method. Primary data in this study were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale. Secondary data are obtained from the organization structure Sukamandi Apparatus Training Centre (BDA), performance appraisal, staff attendance, information system and personnel management. Structural Equation Modeling Analisis of Moment Structures (SEM-AMOS) is used to process and analyze data. This study shows staff with high education, competence and leadership have a significant effect on performance, While the job satisfaction is significant in mediating the influence of training, competence and leadership on performance. Next on the employee with low education, training, competence, motivation and leadership have a significant influence on performance, while job satisfaction is significant in mediating the effect of competence and leadership on staff performance. Keywords: training, competence, motivation, leadership, job satisfaction, performance

Abstract

The current pandemic has disrupted the implementation of training at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP). The training, which is usually done face-to-face, turns into online training (e-learning). The Apparatus Education and Training Center, which originally this year had the target to train Marine and Fisheries apparatuses online, as many as 1080 people changed to 2700 KKP ASN. A budget allocation of approximately 60% was distracted for handling covid-19 so that more training was carried out online using the e-Milea application. E-Milea (electronic millennial learning) is an e-learning training platform developed by the BDA KKP in providing education and training for the development of KKP ASN competencies. Based on these problems, this study aims to analyze the implementation of the e-learning training system on e-Milea user satisfaction. The system quality, information quality, and service quality variables are independent variables and the dependent variable in this study is user satisfaction. The hypothesis tested using Structural Equation Modeling with a total sample of 97 e-Milea users of Entrepreneurship Training Class 2 and 3. The results showed that the system quality, information quality, and service quality had a significant positive effect on user satisfaction. If the CTF can improve the e-learning training system, user satisfaction will also increase. This requires controlling the quality of the system, information, and services so that user satisfaction will be maintained.

As many as 40 staff are considered as respondents in this research, and census method is used as the sampling method. Primary data in this study were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale. Secondary data are obtained from the organization structure Sukamandi Apparatus Training Centre (BDA), performance appraisal, staff attendance, information system and personnel management. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is used to process and analyze data. This study shows competence and compensation have a significant effect on Job satisfaction, While the compensation isn’t significant the influence of job satisfaction.

Abstract

Changes in the environmental system are quite an urgent challenge and environmental issues can pose major challenges for organizations. Environmentally friendly business organizations become a concern for business practitioners and academics. Vital and strategic aspects in environmental management are human factors and human resource management. Therefore, employees of an organization are expected to care for the environment. This study sets to find out the factors that can improve environmental care attitudes. Environmental care attitudes become a dependent variable whereas independent variables are knowledge of the environment and training. The respondents used in this study are 100 employees from manufacturing in Purwakarta Regency. Employees who become the respondents have a moderately good environmental care attitude. The results of multiple linear regressions show that knowledge of the environment and training impact environmental care attitudes. Employees who have more knowledge about the environment will be more concerned with their environment. Training is also required to improve environmental care attitudes.
