Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia had affected various fields, especially education. The Ministry of Education and Culture took a policy for the implementation of learning carried out from home or online. This condition led some parents of children with special needs to anxiety. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between parents' anxiety levels on online learning and the knowledge of children with special needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a quantitaive study with a cross-sectional approach. The samples of this study were parents of children with special needs with a total of 65 respondents who were selected by using a cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that the anxiety level of parents on online learning was in mild category (50.8%). Meanwhile, the knowledge of children with special needs during covid-19 pandemic was mostly in low category (90.8%). The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between parent's anxiety level and the knowledge of children with special needs during Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Oral hygiene in children is still considered an epidemic concern in today's society. Early prevention can reduce the morbidity of oral hygiene problems such as dental caries which most often occurs in children. In particular, anapproach to health promotion through various media is needed to overcome this problem. One of which is suitable to be given to children is the media of fairy tales. It is in accordance with the characteristics of imaginative children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fairy tale book media on the oral hygiene knowledge of school-age children. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study indicate that the media of fairy tales has an effect on increasing knowledge of oral hygiene in school-age children. Abstract

ADHD adalah suatu kondisi yang sering terjadi pada anak yang dimanifestasikan dengan kurang perhatian, impulsif, dan hiperaktifitas yang tidak sesuai dengan perkembangan.. Pola asuh orang tua merupakan gambaran tentang sikap dan perilaku orang tua dan anak dalam berinteraksi, berkomunikasi selama mengadakan kegiatan pengasuhan. Hal ini akan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pola asuh orang tua pada pembelajaran motorik halus anak hiperaktif usia pra sekolah di Ellian Center Purwokerto. Metode yang digunakan adalag kualitatif, dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif, bersifat eksploratif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Populasi penelitian seluruh orang tua yang memiliki anak hiperaktif di Ellian Center Purwokerto. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling.Hasil penelitian menjelaskan pola asuh yang diterapkan dalam mengasuh anaknya yang hiperaktif termasuk dalam tipe pola asuh demokratis. Pola asuh demokratis adalah pola asuh yang memprioritaskan kepentingan anak, akan tetapi tidak ragu-ragu mengendalikan mereka. Orang tua tipe ini juga bersikap realistis terhadap kemampuan anak, tidak berharap yang berlebihan yang melampaui kemampuan anak dan memberikan kebebasan kepada anak untuk memilih dan melakukan suatu tindakan. Pengaruh pola asuh demokratis yaitu akan menghasilkan karakteristik anak-anak yang mandiri, dapat mengontrol diri, mempunyai hubungan baik dengan teman-temannya. Selain itu orang tua memberikan stimulasi perkembangan motorik halus anak hiperaktif dengan membantu anak menggambar dan menulis.

Abstract

A stroke is neurological syndrome with characteristic of the deficit without any konflusi due to neurological disorders cerebral blood circulation that lasts for 24 hours or more. Stroke patient neurological status can be measured with the national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS). This hearing to assess the progress of the outcomes for stroke patient consisting of 11 components. The provision of head position of 30° accompanied with the passive range of motion (PROM) is a combination of action that serves maximize oxygenation of cerebral tissue and motor skills, so that healing to stroke patient will be faster. This research aims to review the combined effect head position of 30° and PROM against a decline in scores on NIHSS stroke patients. The design of the research uses a quasi experimental with approach pretest posttest control group design. The number of samples from 14 respondents were divided into 2 group. The results of the research uses dependent t-test show there is the combined effect head position of 30° and the PROM with a score NIHSS on stroke patients with P value = 0,002 (α<0,05). The advice of this research nurse can apply a combination head position of 30° and PROM as independent intervention nursing on stroke patient to on providing healing faster and made one of the SOP in patient care a stroke at the hospital.

Abstract

Cases of COVID-19 in children have accurred in various countries, including Indonesia. An effort taken to prevent the transmission of the virus is is to apply the 5M health protocol. However, the implementation of health protocol is still lacking in children. So we need an approach to health education using several methods, one of which is storytelling. This study aims to determine the effect of storytelling an an educational medium on the 5M health protocol in elementary school-age children. This was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group research design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach on 31 respondents of elementary school children in grade 1 at SDN 07 Mendelem. Data collection used a health protocol compliance questionnaire instrument and storytelling media in the form of flipcharts. This study also used statistical tests in data analysis. The results of this study were the majority of respondents were male, aged 7-8 years. Compliance before the treatment was classified into the category of moderately obedient, and after the treatment was classified into the category of obedient. The results of the bivariate comparison test between the storytelling method and compliance with the 5M health protocol showed (a p-value 0f 0,000˂0,05). It can be concluded that storytelling as an educational medium affects compliance with the 5M health protocol in elementary school-aged children.
