The purpose of this research was knowing the influence of guided inqury model in improve activities and result students learning by using design pretest-posttest equivalent. The sample of this research were the students at X1 and X2 by purposive sampling. A qualitative data was learning activity and it got by observation. A quantitative data was the result of student learning which obtained from the average score of pretest, posttest, and N-gain. The research result of students learning activity from the whole aspects of student’s ability were asking question, writing the idea/opinion, collecting data/information, perform analysis, writing the conclutions, and the average of high criterion. The result of students learning has increased with the average score of N-gain (57.33). Thus, it could be concluded that guided inquiry model has a significant increased activities and result students learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan desain pretes postes ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X2 yang dipilih dari populasi secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian aktivitas belajar dari aspek kemampuan siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan, menuliskan ide/gagasan, mengumpulkan data/informasi, melakukan analisis, dan menuliskan kesimpulan berkriteria tinggi. Hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain (57,33). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar siswa, hasil belajar siswa, inkuiri terbimbing, pencemaran lingkungan
