Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola kesukaan dan ketidaksukaan siswa dalam Pelajaran bahasa Inggris menggunakan penambangan teks dan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana usia akan memengaruhi mereka 271 siswa dipilih untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Studi ini mengungkapkan beberapa temuan penting tentang apa yang paling mereka sukai dalam pelajaran bahasa Inggris:(a)The siswa yang berpartisipasi umumnya senang bermain game, terutama siswa kelas atas, (b) siswa yang panik umumnya senang berbicara bahasa Inggris, (c) siswa kelas atas lebih suka menghafal bahasa Inggris, dan (d) hanya siswa kelas menengah yang menyukai kegiatan cerita. Di Di sisi lain, tentang apa yang paling tidak mereka sukai dalam pelajaran bahasa Inggris, berikut ini Temuan terungkap: (a) Siswa, terutama siswa kelas atas, merasa frustrasi ketika mereka tidak mengerti apa yang dikatakan guru dalam bahasa Inggris, (b) beberapa siswa merasa frustrasi ketika pelajaran bahasa Inggris berisik, dan (c) beberapa siswa merasa gugup ketika mereka melakukan presentasi.

Abstract

The literacy skills possessed by students in Indonesia are quite worrying. Based on the data recorded in PISA, the score obtained by Indonesia regarding literacy is only 371. Indonesia is ranked third from the bottom regarding literacy. The purpose of writing this journal is to critically examine the literacy of students at SDN 195/IV Pematangan Kancil Merangin Jambi. This research was conducted at SDN 195/VI Pematang Kancil Merangin Jambi. The subjects of this study were students of SDN 195/VI Pematang Kancil Merangin Jambi. The research subjects were selected at the elementary school level because based on the results of field observations, the literacy level of students at SDN 195/VI Pematang Kancil Merangin Jambi was still very minimal or low. The writing of this journal is based on the type of qualitative research using a literature review approach. Literature review is an activity to examine various forms of relevant sources. The conclusion from the scientific literacy analysis activities at SDN 195/VI Pematang Kancil Merangin Jambi has a low literacy level. One of the influencing factors is environmental factors. The SDN 195/VI school is located in a small village, where the accreditation owned by the school is accreditation C. There are various ways to improve literacy in students, one example is by creating a literacy corner movement program. Based on the research conducted, it is effective and efficient to improve student literacy.

Abstract

Education is an important factor in the development of a country. One of the goals of education is to develop students' intellectual abilities and understanding in various fields. In the process of learning mathematics, students' understanding of solving word problems is very important. Word problems provide a real context for students in applying mathematical concepts to everyday life. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of students' understanding in solving word problems about scale plans in Grade V SD. The research was conducted at SDN 34/I Teratai, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari District. When the research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year. This research was used in Mathematics Class V semester 1 with the material for solving story problems about Scaled Plans. This research cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection which is done repeatedly until the achievement indicators for this CAR can be achieved. As subjects in this classroom action research were students of Class V SD 34/I Teratai. The number of students who were used as research subjects was 23 people, consisting of 10 men and 13 women. The object of this study was the application of the Peer Tutor Method. Data collection techniques are observation, tests, interviews and documentation. This research was carried out in cycles with each cycle consisting of four components, namely: planning, action and observation, and reflection. After the cycle has been implemented, especially after reflection, it is then followed by re-planning which is carried out in the form of a separate cycle.
