Abstract

The result of the structure analysis are coherent and logical because every element are related. Struggle of the main character to help his friends in school is a major theme in the story. The characterizations according to the function as protagonist and antagonist were articulated and make the story. Vivid progressive plot desain by using the sequence and causality relationship make the reader easier in understanding the storyline. Description of the background further strengthen the plot and characterization. Description of the social background display state at the time. The use of first-person perspective makes the reader feel as if directlyinvolved in the story. Style of language used increasingly beautify the course of the story, attract more the reader’s attention. Background of Javanese society in the story related to moral values, which are the moral values to one self, the moral values to other people, and the moral values to God, reflected by the charactersso it looks that the author wants to show the principle of Java in his work. Analysis of Orang Miskin Dilarang Sekolah novel can fulfill the main competence of curriculum. Structure analysis of the novel can increase student’s knowledge of how to analyze the structure of novel and improve their language skill.

Abstract

Abstract: Application of Quantum Teaching Models in Geometry Student Learning Outcomes Improved Fourth Grade Elementary School. This study aims to: (1) describe the learning steps Quantum Teaching in improving student learning outcomes, (2) identify obstacles and solutions in the application of models of Quantum Teaching Geometry in learning. This study is a collaborative action research conducted in three cycles. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Quantum Teaching by implementing measures Grow, Natural, Namai, Demonstrate, and Celebrate Repeat to improve student learning outcomes, the pre-action mastery percentage reached 24% of new students, having implemented measures student mastery percentage in cycle I to 86%, 90% cycle II and cycle III 95%. Application of Quantum Teaching models for learning Geometry encountered some obstacles, but these constraints can be solved by implementing improvement efforts as the solution of problems were encountered. Keywords: model Quantum Teaching, student learning outcomes, Geometry Abstrak: Penerapan Model Quantum Teaching dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Geometri Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendiskripsikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dalam upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, (2) mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model Quantum Teaching pada pembelajaran Geometri. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Quantum Teaching dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi dan Rayakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, pada pra tindakan persentase ketuntasan siswa baru mencapai 24%, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I menjadi 86%, siklus II 90% dan siklus III 95%. Penerapan model Quantum Teaching dalam pembelajaran Geometri menemui beberapa kendala, namun kendala tersebut dapat terpecahkan dengan menerapkan upaya perbaikan sebagai solusi dari kendala yang muncul. Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan kemapuan siswa dalam menulis karya sastra khususnya dalam menulis naskah drama berdasarkan cerpen. Melalui kemampuan menulis naskah drama berdasarkan cerpen ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam bidang sastra khususnya dapat mengubah cerpen menjadi sebuah drama yang sebaik mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menulis naskah drama berdasarkan cerpen. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut di atas, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Indikator penilaiannya adalah: (1) Tema, (2) Tokoh, (3) Latar, (4) Alur, (5) Dialog, (6) Bahasa, (7) Kreativitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam hal menulis naskah drama dengan tujuh indikator sebagai landasan penilaian, maka hasil atau skor rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 75 Skor tersebut diperoleh dari perhitungan jumlah skor perolehan.

Abstract

This study contains the ability to write drama text in grade VIII students in the odd semester of SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung. What is the level of ability of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung in writing drama texts. This study aims to find out and describe the level of students' ability to write drama texts that are viewed in terms of several aspects, namely aspects of the plot, character and characterization, style of language, background, point of view and theme.The method used is descriptive qualitative by using percentages, namely by analyzing aspects, namely aspects of flow, character and characterization, style of language, background, perspective and theme. The ability of the drama text of SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung in the aspects of the background and angle of understanding in the category is quite seen from the percentage of students who have an average value of 62.8% and the ability to write drama texts for SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung in the theme aspects category is less seen from the percentage of students who have an average value of 60%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the CTL model was effective in improving the narrative essay writing skills of grade 6 elementary school students. The research design used was a Quasi experimental study. Based on the results of research conducted, it is known that the pretest data of the experimental and control classes are normally distributed and homogeneous. The pretest t-value is smaller than the t-table price (-0.081 <1.647) and the significance (0.935> 0.05), meaning that HO is accepted. This shows that there is no difference in the average score of narrative essay writing skills between the control class and the experimental class at the time of the pretest. Posttest t-count value is greater than t-table price (2.153> 2,000) and significance (0.036 <0.05). Ha was accepted and HO was rejected. Ha accepted means that there is a difference in the average score of narrative essay writing skills between the control class and the experimental class, ie the average experimental class is higher with a mean difference of 0.1552. Large increase in the experimental class can be seen in the average normalized gain of 0.357 or included in the medium category, while the control class 0.209 included in the low category. The effectiveness of the CTL model is expected to be a consideration for grade 6 teachers to apply the CTL model to Indonesian language learning with other aspects or material. The application of the CTL model is expected to be one of the innovative models for effective Indonesian language learning

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah struktural novel Cinta Bersemi di Seberang Tembok Karya Bagin dan nilai-nilai di dalamnya. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktural dan nilai-nilai dalam novel Cinta bersemi di Seberang Tembok karya Bagin. Teknik teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan teknik catat. Pada metode analisis data digunakan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa struktural yang terkandung dalam novel Cinta Bersemi di Seberang Tembok Karya Bagin, yaitu Tema, novel ini mengambil tema perjuangan seorang pemuda bernama Yusuf dalam menggapai cita-cita dan cintanya. Tokoh dan penokohan, tokoh utama dalam novel ini yaitu Yusuf. Latar, novel mengambil latar di Medan. Alur yang digunakan novel ini adalah alur campuran namun lebih banyak menggunakan alur maju dengan sudut pandang orang ketiga serba tahu. Amanat novel ini yaitu tekun dan bersungguh-sungguh dalam menggapai cita-cita, tidak melihat seseorang hanya dari masa lalunya, berfikir lebih luas dan bijak ketika menghadapi sebuah permasalah. Selanjutnya, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam novel tersebut terdiri atas nilai religius, nilai moral, nilai sosial,  dan nilai budaya. Kata Kunci: struktural, nilai-nilai, novel

Abstract

Materi pembelajaran drama dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia ini sebagai salah satu bagian dari aspek sastra. Tujuan akhir pembelajaran siswa diharuskan mampu menyusun teks drama dengan gaya mereka sendiri. Hal ini tentu memerlukan pemahaman yang tinggi bagi siswa untuk bisa menganalisis struktur, ciri-ciri dan unsur yang khusus terdapat dalam sebuah drama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah kemampuan dalam menulis teks drama pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan adalam penelitian ini adalah metode pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut. Kemampuan siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung dalam menulis teks drama dikategorikan cukup.
