Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe as clearly that moral knowledge is not enough to pass or taught course. Moral knowing (knowledge of moral) should continue to be guided or monitored its implementation phase (moral action= moral acts) in everyday life so that language learning is not just known learners but lived or felt (moral feeling= the feeling of moral) as the needs of the communication, as the needs  of the communication, whether oral or in writing, so that any that exist in the minds of students could be realized in the form of a polite language and ultimately bring the dignity of this nation to the top of world civilization. As for the methodology that supports this article so that it is capable of being clearly descriptive shelled quantitative. Beginning of first language acquisition and second language, then the language learning in second language acquisition category became an important part of that would be seen side of coaching or development of his character to find out balance moral knowing, moral feeling and moral action. Next, the existence of this article may generate a response and a deep contemplation for anyone dabbling in the field of education in particular teacher or lecturer languages also observer languages.Contemplation is the character that's been reflected in any behavior or is it just in the concept or simply knowing only or new on the stage of knowing and feeling, but to implement them not enough time in the monitor so that the expected goal seems far away earth from sky.   Keywords: moral knowing, moral feeling, moral action.

Abstract

The aims this research are 1) To describe students' poetry writing skills using YouTube media. 2) Knowing students' ability to use YouTube in distance learning, in the pandemic era. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Documentation techniques in the form of data collection, use of YouTube, and assessment of the practice of writing poetry with the application of YouTube as a medium. The results showed that the majority of students became skilled at writing poetry by building figure of speech, stanzas, and diction. Keywords: Poetry Writing Skills, Pandemic, Youtube

Abstract

The management of waste or used goods that is still not optimal causes various environmental problems. One way to reduce the presence of used goods is to recycle them into learning media. This study focuses on the effectiveness of used goods effectiveness as learning media on fable storytelling in class VII. The method used is descriptive-qualitative. Students’ storytelling skills were assessed by observation method using storytelling skills assessment rubric. Storytelling style, Mastery of the content of the story, volume of voice, and fluency were assessed. The results of the discussion show that the use of used goods as learning media is considered effective with an average student score of 89 which is included in the very good category.Keywords: used goods; learning media; storytelling skill; fable.

Abstract

Media is an important instrument for teachers in teaching and learning activities. The existence of media is expected to make it easier for teachers to convey material and make it easier for students to understand the material, of course the media used must be adapted to the development of the times. This study aims to find out how the use of video media from the Ministry of Health's YouTube channel in learning persuasive text writing skills for class VIII students at SMP Islamiyah Ciputat. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a description of the results of student essays. The data collection techniques used in this study used observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. Aspects assessed in this study were the quality of the content of the essay, spelling and writing, structure of the essay, organization of content, and accuracy of diction. The results of the study showed that the ability to write persuasive essays for class VIII-3 students obtained an average score of 81, 30 with good category (B). So it can be concluded that, public service advertising media from the Ministry of Health's YouTube can be used as an appropriate learning media for learning the skills of writing persuasive essays.   Media menjadi insturmen yang penting bagi guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.Adanya media diharapkan memudahkan guru menyampaikan materi dan memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi, tentunya media yang digunakan harus disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media video dari kanal YouTube Kemenkes dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks persuasi pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Islamiyah Ciputat.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang berupa pendeskiripsian dari hasil karangan siswa.Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes.Aspek yang dinilai dalam penelitian ini yakni kualitas isi karangan, ejaan dan tata tulis, struktur karangan, organisasi isi, dan ketepatan diksi.Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis karangan persuasi peserta didik kelas VIII-3 memperoleh nilai rata-rata 81, 30 dengan kategori baik (B).Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa, media iklan layanan masyarakat dari YouTube Kemenkes dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk pembelajaran keterampilan menulis karangan persuasi.

Abstract

This research is about knowing the skills of writing a description of the moral values ​​of the short film "Ketangen" by the West Bangka Arts Council in class XI students of SMAN 5 South Tangerang in the 2020/2021 academic year. The subject of this research is a short film media entitled "Ketangen".  The object of this research is the students of class XI IPS 3 odd semester, totaling 41 students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis techniques in this study are analysis before going to the field, data reduction, data presentation from the results of data reduction, and data verification. The researcher uses the short film “Ketangen” which has been downloaded from YouTube. The results show that the moral values ​​in the short film "Ketangen" are politeness, mutual respect, mutual respect, hard work, never give up, not spoiled, not lazy and patience.  At SMAN 5, South Tangerang City, it turned out that using the film "Ketangen" as a medium in learning descriptive paragraphs could change the value of students' writing skills so that the average acquisition = 69.80.  As detailed, 6 students got very good category, 8 students were in good category, 4 students were in fairly good category, and 3 students were in poor category.   Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan siswa kelas XI SMAN 5 Tangerang Selatan dalam menulis teks deskripsi nilai moral film pendek “Ketangen” karya dewan kesenian Bangka Barat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah media film pendek yang berjudul “Ketangen”. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 3 semester ganjil yang berjumlah 41 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis sebelum ke lapangan, reduksi data, penyajian data dari hasil reduksi data, dan verifikasi data. Peneliti menggunakan media film pendek “Ketangen” yang telah diunduh dari YouTube. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai moral pada film pendek “Ketangen” yakni kesantunan, saling menghormati, saling menghargai, kerja keras, pantang menyerah, tidak manja, tidak malas dan kesabaran. Pada SMAN 5 Kota Tangerang Selatan ternyata menggunakan media film “Ketangen” pun dalam pembelajaran paragraf deskripsi dapat mengubah nilai keterampilan menulis siswa sehingga perolehan rata-ratanya = 69,80.

Abstract

The use of interactive learning media is able to create new experiences for students in the learning process. Therefore, the selection of appropriate learning media will have a positive impact on students in the learning process. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method to assess the validity and effectiveness of using Adobe Flash CS6 interactive media in learning. The subjects of this research trial were class VII students of MTs Salafiyah Wiradesa, namely 10 students for small-scale trials. 20 experimental class students and 20 control class students on a large-scale test. The results of this study concluded that the use of Adobe Flash CS6 interactive media on procedural text material met the criteria of very feasible to use with a percentage score of 100% by material experts and 96.3% by media experts. The n-gain test result is 0.3508 with moderate criteria. Concluding that interactive media using Adobe Flash CS6 is effectively used and can improve student learning outcomes.Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif mampu menciptakan pengalaman baru siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebab itu, pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat akan memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) untuk menilai validitas dan efektivitas penggunaan media interaktif Adobe Flash CS6 dalam pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Salafiyah Wiradesa yaitu 10 siswa untuk uji coba skala kecil. 20 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa kelas kontrol pada uji skala besar. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif Adobe Flash CS6 pada materi teks prosedur memenuhi kriteria sangat layak digunakan dengan persentase nilai 100% oleh ahli materi dan 96,3% oleh ahli media. Hasil uji n-gain 0,3508 dengan kriteria sedang. Menyimpulkan media interaktif menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 efektif digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Betawi language is the regional language that is most closely related to Indonesian because it has a vocabulary that is not much different and there is a certain application of phonemes in the sound of words, causing interference in the phonological sub-study in Indonesian, namely phoneme changes. This study aims to identify and explain variations in phoneme changes as well as grammatical meanings resulting from these changes. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with primary data sources, namely words spoken by Betawi speakers. Data collection techniques use interview, fishing rod, intensive listening, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques carried out by researchers include: (1) taking a close look at the data that has been collected, (2) identifying data based on their groups, (3) analyzing data, (4) concluding and presenting the results. The results showed that there were variations in phoneme changes caused by agreement in the geographical scope, afferes, syncope, and apocope type contractions, as well as monophtongization. In addition, there is no change in the grammatical meaning of each word found.

Abstract

This research discusses efforts to introduce cognitive learning theory into the 2013 curriculum in the educational environment. Her research focus is on understanding how key principles of cognitive learning theory, including concepts such as information processing, knowledge construction, and the development of higher-order thinking skills, can be integrated into new curriculum structures. Research methods include analysis of official 2013 curriculum documents, interviews with teachers, and observation of classroom learning practices. The results show that although real efforts have been made to adopt the principles of cognitive learning theory, their implementation still faces certain challenges. Limited resources, teacher understanding of cognitive concepts, and adaptation of learning materials are several important factors that influence successful implementation. Therefore, this research provides recommendations for improving teacher training, adapting learning materials, and increasing resource support so that the 2013 curriculum more effectively achieves students' cognitive learning goals.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is the newest educational curriculum in Indonesia and is currently being implemented by implementing freedom of learning for teachers and students. This independent curriculum is packaged to suit the needs of students, apart from that it also supports learning that is literate with the times. Apart from the educational curriculum, the role of the teacher is also very important for the success of learning in the classroom. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method that describes and analyzes the data that has been found in narrative form. This research does not describe data variables in the form of numbers, but this research places more emphasis on describing the phenomena or problems in this research. The technique for collecting this data uses note taking by reading references which are used as reference sources in this research. This data collection technique is also assisted by literature study as a reinforcement of the data that has been found by the author. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique goes through several stages, namely collecting data by adjusting the data grouping, then presenting the data in the form of a narrative or description, and finally drawing conclusions from the data that has been found and then analyzing it as well.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation and benefits of ice breaking in the learning process at the junior high school level through the literature study method. By analyzing relevant literature, this research presents a comprehensive picture of how ice breaking has been applied in the context of learning in junior high school. The ice breaking method is adopted as an opening strategy to overcome initial awkwardness and build positive interactions among learners. The results show that the consistent implementation of ice breaking provides significant benefits for both learners and educators. For learners, this activity increases engagement, confidence and motivation to learn. In addition, ice breaking helps build social skills and teamwork. For educators, ice breaking becomes an effective tool to open communication channels with students, understand individual needs and create an inclusive learning environment. This research provides insights into the successful implementation and benefits that can be derived from the application of ice breaking in the context of junior secondary education.
