Abstract

This research was conducted in the campus area of Tembalang where  in the last 10 years laundry business began to be in booming. This study formulates the problem related to the dimensions of any underlying consumer interest variables and what factors can represent consumer interest variables. While the purpose of this study is to determine the dimensions underlying consumer interest variables and to determine the factors that can represent the variables of consumer interest. This research is a survey research by taking a sample of 100 respondents by using purposive sampling of a laundry customer population in the area of Tembalang. While the method of analysis used in this study is a factor analysis which is one multivariet analysis techniques that are widely used in marketing research. The results of testing instrument showed that the instrument is valid and reliable. While the SPSS processing results show that Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value (KMO) of 0.857 exceeds the value of 0.5 which means that on the basis of this KMO test factor analysis is feasible. In this study,  to determine the number of valid variables, It is used Eigenvalue value. With this criterion, a factor having an Eigenvalue of one or more 1 is considered valid. The results concluded that the dimensions underlying consumer interest variables in using laundry services identified as many as 25 components. Of the 25 components, on the basis of factor analysis extracted into 5 factors considered valid. The five factors that can represent the variables of consumer interest are interpreted as hospitallity, accuracy, guarantee, performance and convenience

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT AndalanPacific Samudra Semarang, a companyengaged in the export import freightforwarding services which always tries togive satisfaction. So it is important for thecompany to build service quality andexporters’ satisfaction to obtain trust withloyalty from exporters of PT Andalan PacificSamudra Semarang. The purpose of thisresearch are to find out the influence offreight forwarding service quality onexporters’ satisfaction, the impact of trustwith loyalty and how much that direct andindirect influence and its impact. Theresearch sample were 34 exporters of PTAndalan Pacific Samudra Semarang asrespondents. The method of analysis in thisresearch were validity test, reliability test, ttest, F test, path analysis test and thecoefficient of determination. The method ofcollecting data are questionnaire andliterature studies. The result of the pathanalysis showed that service quality,satisfaction, trust gave positive andsignificant effect on loyalty exporters. Theresults obtained from testing the hypothesissignificant test, t test and F test, so we couldconclude that service quality significant tosatisfaction, trust and expoters’ loyalty Fromthe results showed the value of the coefficientof determination was 0,845, indicating thatthe service quality, satisfaction, trust had theeffect of 84,5% on loyalty exporters and therest is influenced by other factors which werenot examined

Abstract

Turnover intention is affected by many factors. The objective of this research is to analyze theinfluence of workload (X1), work-family conflict (X2), and job insecurity (X3) on job satisfaction(Y) and the impact on turnover intention (Z) partially and simultaneously. The method ofcollecting data are questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentary study. The amount ofsample is 100 production department employee. Path analysis is used in analyzing this research.The result shows that workload, work-family conflict, and job insecurity partially havenegatively and significantly influence on job satisfaction and also have simultaneouslysignificant influence on job satisfaction. Workload, work-family conflict, and job insecurity givecontributions to job satisfaction of 41,1% while 58,9% were influence by others variables. Whilejob satisfaction partially have negatively and significantly influence on turnover intention.Workload, workfamily conflict, and job insecurity partially have positively and significantlyinfluence on turnover intention and also have simultaneously significant influence on turnoverintention. Workload, work-family conflict, job insecurity, and job satisfaction give contributionsto turnover intention of 62% while 38% were influence by others variables

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan kampus tembalang yang pada 10 tahun terakhir mulai menjamur usaha jasa laundry. Penelitian ini merumuskan masalah terkait dengan dimensi-dimensi apa saja yang mendasari variable minat konsumen dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mewakili variable minat konsumen.  Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dimensi-dimensi yang mendasari variable minat konsumen dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat mewakili variable minat konsumen.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan mengambil sampelsebanyak 100 responden secara  purposive samplingdari suatu populasi pelanggan laundry di kawasan tembalang.  Sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis faktor yang merupakan salah satu teknik analisis multivariet yang banyak digunakan dalam riset pemasaran.Hasil pengujian instrumen penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen valid dan reliabel.  Sementara hasil pengolahan SPSS menunjukkan bahwa Nilai Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) sebesar 0,857 melebihi nilai 0,5 yang berarti atas dasar uji KMO ini analisis factor layak dilakukan.Dalam penelitian ini untuk menentukan jumlah variabel yang valid digunakan nilai Eigenvalue. Dengan kriteria ini, faktor yang mempunyai Eigenvalue satu atau lebih besar 1 dianggap valid.  Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa dimensi-dimensi yang mendasari variable minat konsumen dalam menggunakan jasa laundry diidentifikasi sebanyak 25 komponen. Dari 25 komponen, atas dasar analisis faktor diekstrak menjadi 5 faktor yang dinilai valid. Kelima faktor yang dapat mewakili variable minat konsumen tersebutdiinterpretasi sebagai hospitallity, accuracy, guarantee, performance dan convenience
