Abstract

This community service took the topic of the Socialization of Promotion Procedures to MSME Players at UP2K Lanjung Uma, Alalak Utara Village, North Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. The implementation of this community event is by providing socialization on the procedures for business promotion. The goal is that MSMEs at UP2K Lanjung Uma, Alalak Utara Village, North Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City, can increase the percentage of sales. This community service program funded by STIE Indonesia Banjarmasin is Rp. 5,000,000. The first week of implementation stages, the location survey at UP2K Lanjung Uma. The second week, held an interview about business motivation and entrepreneurship. The fourth week, provides counseling about, determining market segments and promotion procedures. The fifth week of evaluation of outreach and training. The results of the activity team's observations, first obtained that the training and guidance participants understand marketing management especially the process / quality of production, promotion, packaging and health. Second, the participants can determine target consumers. Third, the quality of their production participants is maintained and the waste does not damage the environment. Fourth, media promotion with online social media. Fifth, providing facilities and infrastructure, such as glass cabinets or storefronts so that it is easier to display products.

Abstract

Terantang Village is located in Barito Kuala Regency, where the women are members of the PKK, which is where they learn to start a home business. Most PKK members are housewives who have just started small businesses such as spinach chips. This training aimed to provide the participants with a business alternative, from determining and designing products that suit their conditions to training on how to produce these products. Fish amplang was offered as an alternative product, considering that the raw material in the form of fish is easy to obtain and does not require special equipment in its manufacture. This activity is carried out by providing material about product design and practicing making fish amplang taught by an amplang business owner. From the activities carried out, the participants gained new skills regarding the design of fish amplang products. In addition, this training is expected to be a provision for them to develop their businesses. Furthermore, from the evaluation results, it is found that the participants are satisfied with the training carried out, especially since they can learn new skills. They also request that similar training be held periodically.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and brand image on purchasing decisions of iphone smartphones in Banjarmasin both simultaneously and partially. The population of this research is the people in Banjarmasin, while the samples taken are 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability by looking at corrected items total correlation and Cronbach's alpha and all were declared valid and reliable. Data analysis techniques used in this study used the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (F test and t test). The results of this study indicate simultaneously that product quality and brand image have a positive effect on purchasing decisions for iPhone smartphones and the most dominant factor influencing purchase decisions is on the brand image. Partially for product quality has a positive effect on purchasing decisions with a t value greater than t table that is 4.674> 1.964 with a significance value of 0.000. As for the brand image, it also has a positive influence on purchasing decisions with a t value greater than t table, namely 20.554> 1.964 with a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of marketing public relations and service quality on corporate image of PT. Delta Abadi Sentosa in Banjarmasin. This research employed explanatory research type. The population of this study was the customers of PT. Delta Abadi Sentosa Banjarmasin. The number of samples was 100 respondents taken by using purposive sampling. The data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The instrument test was done by using validity and reliability tests. Moreover, multiple linear regression model was employed to analyze the data. The results of the analysis showed that simultaneously marketing public relations and service quality affected corporate image. In addition, marketing public relations had a positive and significant influence on the corporate image of PT. Delta Abadi Sentosa Banjarmasin. Moreover, service quality also had a positive and significant influence on corporate image of PT. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengedukasi dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada usaha kecil Pengrajin Sasirangan yang ada di Desa Limpasu Kecamatan Limpasu Kabaputen Hulu Sungai Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta sehingga memudahkan mereka untuk memahami kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen. Adapun tujuan umum yang dicapai adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman akan marketing mix yang dapat dikembangkan dan mampu melayani konsumen melalui proses manajemen marketing yang baik. Selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung, pelaku usaha kecil pengrajin sasirangan menunjukkan antusiasmi dalam mengembangkan bisnis kerajian tangan yang telah mereka praktekkan. Selain itu, mereka mendapatkan pemahaman akan proses marketing mix dan bagaimana memuaskan konsumen dengan memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan mereka.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Samwon House, Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara, Kota Banjarmasin. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menanamkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya UMKM dan bagaimana pengelolaannya yang baik, khususnya bagi perempuan pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko kerugian dan kegagalan pada UMKM yang disebabkan karena manajemen yang kurang baik. Adanya UMKM diharapkan dapat meningkatan kekuatan ekonomi para perempuan di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara. Metode yang digunakan di pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan singkat terkait hal-hal yang penting untuk menunjang keberhasilan UMKM. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman peserta sosialisasi terhadap UMKM dan tentang langkah-langkah para pelaku UMKM dalam membentuk manajemen yang baik. Peserta berhasil memahami tentang berbagai peluang usaha terutama bagi pemula, berbagai metode mendapatkan permodalan, bagaimana langkah-langkah pengelolaan UMKM yang baik, dan bagaimana melakukan promosi dengan sosial media.

Abstract

Lack of understanding of the importance of good and safe financial planning and management is one of the reasons for the lack of participation of the younger generation in investing in stocks. Therefore, this seminar was carried out in order to increase the awareness of the younger generation, especially generation Z, on the importance of easy and safe investment. Through the introduction of the Smart Investment Strategy, participants are expected to be able to invest in stocks intelligently, especially in the capital market. This activity was attended by 52 students from various higher education institutions in Banjarmasin. The results of this activity are expected to encourage students to invest in stocks safely so that they can plan and manage their finances better.

Abstract

Today's younger generation, especially students, are more aware of technological advances than the older generation. Even so, it is still a question whether they have an awareness of the importance of investment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the investment awareness of the younger generation, in this case students. This study used a questionnaire as the main data collection instrument by taking a sample of 113 students majoring in economics in South Kalimantan. The results of the study reveal that financial literacy, personal interest and saving behavior have a positive and significant effect on the investment awareness of students. These results indicate that student investment awareness arises from their own awareness where they have the initiative to seek more detailed information about investment and the habit of making financial planning. Furthermore, studying the level of investment awareness can provide important insights for policy makers, and educational institutions on how to increase support for young investors in making sound investment decisions.
