Abstract

Imamah can be interpreted as prophets and messengers sent by Allah SWT. In addition, Imamat is also defined as a leader in a narrow sense and in a broad sense. While the management of Islamic education in the institutional aspect is the management system in the institution; Raudhatul Atfal, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Madrasah Aliyah, and Islamic Higher Education. This research is a literature study with a focus on the concept of Imamat in relation to Islamic education management activities. An imam in managing Islamic education management must show the people he leads in the form of; education by example, education with customs, education with advice, education with supervision. In addition, it also has properties; shidiq, amanah, fathonah, and the nature of tabligh.

Abstract

The quality of education administration carried out by school principals, teachers and staff cannot be separated from supervisory activities carried out by supervisors who are formally appointed by the ministry of national education in a professional manner. The quality functions of educational administration activities that allow quality assurance are supervised by professional supervisors who have a high responsibility attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of parents in fostering early childhood Islamic education, describe the obstacles and find solutions. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a sociological and psychological approach. This research involved eight parents of early childhood students. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the role of parents in early childhood religious development is to provide examples, habituation, and advice to children, especially in prayer, reciting the Quran and practising daily prayers. Imbara Permai 1 Housing parents experience several obstacles in carrying out their role, namely using cell phones for too long and the laziness that sometimes comes to the child. The steps taken by parents to overcome this are limiting the duration of cellphone use, taking children for walks, and playing with children.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the phenomenon of social media use among students of SMP Negeri 2 Belopa and the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing its negative impacts. A qualitative descriptive approach is used using normative pedagogic and theological approaches. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation at SMP Negeri 2 Belopa for 3 months. The findings showed that social media use hurt student's behaviour and academic performance, such as exposure to negative content and social media addiction. Effective strategies to prevent negative impacts include a personal approach with students, checking students' cellphones, and Islamic religious guidance. However, obstacles such as lack of parental support and environmental influences were also found. As a solution, it is necessary to increase student understanding through integrated education, strengthening cooperation between schools, parents, and students, as well as further studies on the effectiveness of strategies to prevent the negative impact of social media. This step is expected to create an environment that supports healthy and productive use of social media among students of SMP Negeri 2 Belopa.

Abstract

This study explores the leadership strategy of school principals in improving the quality of education at State Junior High School 1 Bua Ponrang. The research method used was in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers at the school, as well as documentary studies to gain a thorough understanding of the implementation of the leadership strategy. The study results show that school principals implement democratic Leadership by holding various trainings and workshops to improve the professionalism of teachers. In addition, he is also active in managing the school curriculum to suit the needs and latest developments. The interpretation of the results shows that this approach has created a conducive learning environment, improved teacher performance, and improved the overall quality of education at State Junior High School 1 Bua Ponrang. The conclusion of this study is the need for continuity in developing educational human resources, strengthening responsive curriculum management, and the importance of participatory Leadership to achieve better educational goals.
