Abstract

Since the beginning of the philosophical or theological discourse about God, there has been a problem of validity of a proposition about God. God is unlimited and human faculty is limited, so God in Him Self can not be totally comprehended by human intellect. Based on this concept Lateran Council explained that “inter creatorem et creaturam non potest (tanta) similitude notari, quin inter eos maior sit dissimilitude notanda”. How can we think and talk about God while at the same time respecting God’s mystery? Analogia entis would be a helpful solution in a discourse and proclamation about God.

Abstract

Man and woman are created in God’s image so they have desire to know their Creator and they also need God in their lives which causes the desire to know Him. The desire in question, then, is a desire to understand God. For the desire is prior to knowing and it is compatible with not knowing. It is true if we say that man’s unrestricted desire to know is mated to a limited capacity to attain knowledge about Him.For its finiteness human capabilitycould not get hold of a complete knowledge of God.In knowing God and aknowledging Him as Being of beings, human beings must be aware of his ignorance that is “the only true wisdom is in knowing I know nothing.” God, therefore, takes the first step to contact with human beings, then He reveals Himself, He gives Himself to be known and He makes Himself known by human beings. This is a self-manifestation of Someone to someone. Revelation is due to the intiative of God that is God reveals Himself, when He wills, to whom He wills and because He wills. God’s revelation illuminates the intellectual capabilityof humans so that human beings are able to know Him and aknowledge Him and talk about Him as Being of beings. Knowledge of God is called theology. Ultimately, theology is about God in Himself. Thus, theology is the peak of knowledge and the fullness of gnosis since it was brought about under the guidance of the Spirit.So, we could say, God makes knowledge possible for human beings and God is really the Possibler of knowledge and aknowledge of Himself.

Abstract

Kedisiplinan diri adalah kunci utama dalam meraih prestasi belajar. Kedisiplinan akan membantu seorang mahasiswa dalam memanajemen waktunya dengan seefektif dan seefisien mungkin untuk belajar. Namun hanya dengan memanajemen waktu tanpa sebuah pengendalian diri maka niscaya kedisiplinan tidak akan terjadi. Di tengah era new normal, kedisiplinan diri bagi setiap mahasiswa merupakan sebuah keharusan. Mengingat sistem pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring, dengan menggunakan pelbagai platform media pembelajaran online. Pada titik ini, sistem pembelajaran ini menjadi peluang sekaligus menjadi tantangan baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Untuk memberikan pemahaman dan membangun kedisiplinan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran demi mencapai prestasi akademik yang baik, maka perlu dilakukan upaya penyadaran bagi para mahasiswa. Kelompok mahasiswa yang menjadi sasaran pengabdian ini adalah mahasiswa di asrama rusunawa Universitas Katolik Widya Mandira Kupang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemaparan, diskusi dan evaluasi kegiatan pendampingan penguatan kedisiplinan. Hasilnya para mahasiswa menemukan sendiri dalam proses bahwa kedisiplinan itu penting dalam pembelajaran untuk mencapai prestasi akademik. Dengan kesadaran ini, mahasiswa didorong untuk membangun komitmen berdisiplin dalam manajemen pembelajaran. Kunci keberhasilan dalam proses pembelajaran manapun adalah kedisiplinan diri.Kata kunci:Pandemi covid-19, pembelajaran online, kedisiplinan diri, pengendalian diri
