AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work and employee performance training on the quality of work life as a mediating variable. The population of this study were all employees of PT Cassanatama Naturindo Semarang, perhaps 103 people. The number of samples taken by all members of the population using the census method. Methods of data analysis using regression data processing using SPSS. The test results show that work stress has a negative significant effect on the quality of work life. Training has a positive significant effect on the quality of work life. The quality of work life has a positive significant effect on employee performance. Job stress has a negative significant effect on employee performance. Training has a positive significant effect on employee performance.The results of the analysis of mediating variables using the Sobel test, found that the quality of work life did not mediate the effect of work stress on employee performance. Quality of work life can mediate the effect of training on employee performance. Keywords: work stress, training, quality of work life, employee performance. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan quality of worklife sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Cassanatama Naturindo Semarang yang berjumlah 103 orang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh anggota populasi dengan metode sensus. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap quality of worklife. Pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap quality of worklife. Quality of worklife berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pelatihan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil uji Sobel, menunjukkan quality of worklife tidak memediasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Quality of worklife dapat memediasi pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
