Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is to know the emotion of the characters in the novel Wo Ai Ni Allah by Vanny Chrisma W. The theory used in this research is related to novel, behavioristic psychology, and emotions. This research uses descriptive method, qualitative study, and behavioristic psychological approach. Based on the data analysis, this research produces a conclusion as follows. (1) Positive emotion of the novel Wo Ai NI Allah by Vanny Chrisma W., the main and additional characters have the emotions of love and joy, (2) negative emotions of the novel Wo Ai Ni Allah by Vanny Chrisma W., the main and additional characters have emotions fear, anxiety, anger, and sadness. The main and additional figures are more dominant in having negative emotions than positive. However, the negative emotion has a major effect on behavior change and the mindset of the main character will be better. Keywords: emotions, characters, novel.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the desire to apply the value of patriotism to students through the novel Gerilja Keluarga by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The common problem in this research is "What is the value of patriotism in the novel Gerilja Keluarga by Pramoedya Ananta Toer and its implementation as learning in school?". This general problem is limited to 4 subproblems. The purpose of this study is to describe 4 of these sub-problems, while this research is useful for researchers to add knowledge and insight in analyzing literary works, can be used by teachers and students as learning media and as a comparison material for other research.The theory used in this study relates to the value of patriotism, figures, and characterizations. This research uses descriptive methods, qualitative research forms, and uses a sociological approach to literature. The source of research data is the novel Gerilja Keluarga by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data collection techniques in this study are documentation, interview, and note taking techniques. The data in this study are patriotism values which are reflected in words, expressions and quotes contained in the Gerilja Family novel.Based on research conducted, researchers managed to collect and analyze 67 quotes that illustrate the value of patriotism contained in the Gerilja Family novel.Keywords: patriotism value, characterization, novel.

Abstract

AbstractThis study examined the semiotics of the mantra or curing spells on children of the Sambas Malay community. Mantra is a type of oral literature or old literature that has faded among society due to developments over time. This study focused on identifying the symbol and meaning in the mantra, especially the mantra for treating diseases on children in the Sambas Malay society, Makrampai village, Sambas Regency. This study aims to describe the symbol, meaning of the mantra, and its implementation into teaching and learning. This semiotic study was carried out with reference to the theory of Ferdinand The Saussure, and was conducted by applying a qualitative method of which the discussion was presented descriptively from the analysis there are 22 symbols used in the mantra. The mantras are of 18 meanings in which overall have the religious, social, and personality meaning. Accordingly, the results can be used to develop a text or material which can be used in basic competencies 3.7 in the grade Indonesian subjects in subjects in semester 1 the 2013 curriculum.Keywords: curing spells children, Makrampai village, semiotic

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan lima lapis strata norma yang terdapat pada Empat Kumpulan Sajak karya WS Rendra. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini berhasil mengumpulkan 20 puisi didominasi oleh bunyi eufoni, 64 puisi didominasi oleh bunyi kakafoni, dan 5 puisi tidak didominasi oleh bunyi eufoni ataupun kakafoni; terdapat bahasa denotasi dan konotasi, bahasa kiasan, pencitraan, gaya bahasa dan sarana retorika, dan faktor ketatabahasaan; perasaan yang mendominasi adalah kesedihan; objek-objek yang terdapat, yaitu pelaku, latar, objek lain, dan dunia eksplisit; dunia yang secara implisit tersampaikan, yaitu (1) Kakawin Kawin: masa berpacaran WS Rendra dan Narti, masa lamaran, dan masa pernikahan; (2) Malam Stanza: masa pernikahan, masa konflik pernikahan, masa kejatuhan WS Rendra dalam hal percintaan; (3) Nyanyian dari Jalanan: masa perenungan, masa kehidupan WS Rendra dan lingkungan sekitarnya, dan (4) Sajak-Sajak Dua Belas Perak: penghargaan terhadap para sahabat WS Rendra dan masa upaya memperbaiki hubungan pernikahannya; tema perenungan yang tersampaikan, yaitu alam, percintaan, ketuhanan, kepribadian, kemanusiaan, dan penghormatan terhadap ibu; tema yang mendominasi lapis metafisis adalah percintaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menunjang pembelajaran strata norma dan puisi di sekolah-sekolah maupun di perkuliahan dan sebagai ilmu pengetahuan.   Kata Kunci: strata norma (bunyi, arti, objek, dunia, metafisis), semiotik.   Abstract: This research aims to describe five norm stratum in Four Poem Collection written by WS Rendra. The method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive. Based on analysis result, it is concluded that 20 poems dominated by euphonic sound, 64 poems dominated by cacophonic sound, and 5 poems dominated neither by euphonic sound nor cacophonic sound. Denotation, connotation, imaging, rhetoric, and grammatical factors are used in the Four Poem Collections; feeling which dominates the poems is sadness; object found in the poems are subjects, setting, other objects, and explicit world; implicitly expressed worlds are (1) Kakawin Kawin: WS Rendra and Narti’s courtship, proposal, and wedding; (2) Malam Stanza: wedding, wedding conflict, WS Rendra’s downfall in love; (3) Nyanyian dari Jalanan: contemplation, WS Rendra’s life and his environment, and (4) Sajak-Sajak Dua Belas Perak: appreciation for WS Rendra’s friend and his effort to make up his wedding life; theme which dominates metaphysical stratum is love. Hopefully this research may support studies about norm stratum and poems in schools and in college and also can used for knowledge.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan Motivasi Pembelajaran pada Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan Menggunakan Metode Inquiry bagi Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri No 10 Pool Entikong, Sanggau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi pembelajaran pada Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan metode Inkuiri bagi siswa kelas IV SDN 10 Pool Entikong Sanggau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data maka diperoleh hasil penelitian yang meliputi motivasi instrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik sebagai berikut: motivasi instrinsik pada baseline diperoleh rata-rata 8,92%,siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 23,21%, siklus II 66,56%, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 76,78%. Peningkatan dari baseline ke siklus III sebesar 67,86% dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan motivasi ekstrinsik pada baseline diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 12,49%, pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 23,21%, siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 78,56%, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 92,85%. Peningkatan dari baseline ke siklus III sebesar 80,36% dalam kategori tinggi. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Metode Inkuiri. Abstract: Increasing on Motivation Learning on Natural Science with Using Inquiry Method for Student Class IV Elementary Schools Country No. 10 Pool Entikong Sanggau.This Research were purpose describe increasing motivation learning on Natural Science with using inquiry mothod for student class IV Elementary Schools Country No 10 Pool Entikong Sanggau. Research method that were use are descriptive method. Based on data analisys there for produse research that cover intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as follow: intrinsic motivation at baseline produce average 8,92%, cycle I produce average 23,21%, cycle II 66,56%, and at cycle III increased to 76,78%. Increase from baseline to cycle III as big as 67,86% in higher category. While extrinsic motivation increases at baseline produce average 12,49%, at cycle I produce increase 23,21%, cycle II produce increase 78,56%, and at cycle III reaches to 92,85%. Increases from baseline to cycle III reaches 80,36% 0n higher category. Keyword: Motivation, Inquiry Method

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui watak tokoh utama, penokohan tokoh tambahan, dan latar atau setting yang terdapat dalam novel ”Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan” karya Agnes Davonar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskripsi, berbentuk kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan struktural. Hasil analisis struktural sebagai berikut watak tokoh utama Gita Sesa Wanda Cantika (Keke)  yaitu polos, penuh cinta kasih, ulet, kerja keras, dan tabah. Penokohan tokoh tambahan yaitu Ayah, Pak Iyus, Andi, Kak Chika, Kak Kiki, Sahabat Keke (Fadha, Shifa, Maya, Idha, Andhini, dan Adhinda), Ibu, dan  Prof. Mukhlis. Watak-watak tokoh dalam cerita ini adalah demokrasi, bijaksana, penyayang, perhatian, sabar, penuh tanggung jawab, pantang menyerah, berkeinginan kuat, tulus, bersahabat, pengertian, humoris, bersikap tenang, sigap, setia, ikhlas, mandiri, baik hati, pintar, percaya diri, tomboy, mudah terpancing emosi, pemalu, dan panik. Latar tempat, latar waktu, latar sosial (suatu wilayah atau daerah, kebiasaan hidup, hubungan sosial)   Kata Kunci: Tokoh, Penokohan, Novel, Struktural Abstrac: This study aims to determine the nature of the main character, characterizations additional figures, and setting or settings contained in the novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan work Agnes Davonar. The method used descriptive method, the form of qualitative and structural approach. Results of structural analysis os follows nature of the main character Gita Sesa Wanda Cantika (Keke) are innocent, loving, tenacious, hard working, and resilient. Characterizations additional figures are Ayah, Pak Iyus, Andi, Kak Chika, Kak Kiki, Sahabat Keke (Fadha, Shifa, Maya, Idha, Andini, dan Adhinda), Ibu and Prof. Mukhlis. Characters figure  in the story is a democratic, wise, loving the attetion, patience, responsibility, never give up, to want a stong, sincere, friendly, understanding,  humorous, calm, alert, loyal, honest, independent, kind, intelligent, confident, tomboy, easily provoked emotions, shy, panic, and disposal. Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan Aktivitas Pembelajaran Matematika dengan Menggunakan Metode Jarimatika pada Siswa Kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri Trans SP. I Mukok Kabupaten Sanggau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran dengan digunakannya metode jarimatika pada siswa kelas II SDN No. 13 Trans SP. I Mukok Kabupaten Sanggau. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah servei kelembagaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah aktivitas belajar siswa yang meliputi aktivitas fisik, mental, dan emosional. Hasil penelitian awal pada aktivitas fisik mempunyai rata-rata 66,66%, pada siklus I 92,30%, pada siklus II 93,30%, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas fisik dari baseline ke siklus II sebesar 26,66% kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian awal pada aktivitas mental mempunyai rata-rata 43,58%, pada siklus I 74,35%, pada siklus II 74,35%, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas mental dari baseline ke siklus II sebesar 30,77% kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian awal aktivitas emosional mempunyai rata-rata 37,49%, pada siklus I 83,62%, pada siklus II 94,32%, terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas emosional dari baseline ke siklus II sebesar 56,74% kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode jarimatika dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kelas II SDN No. 13 Trans SP. I Mukok kabupaten Sanggau. This study aims to determine how an increase in activity with the use of teaching methods in class II Jarimatika No. SDN . 13 Trans SP . I Mukok Sanggau . The method used is descriptive method of research is servei institutional forms . This research was conducted by 2 cycles , the results obtained are student learning activities that include physical activity , mental , and emotional . The results of initial research on physical activity has an average of 66.66 % , 92.30 % in the first cycle , the second cycle of 93.30 % , an increase in physical activity from baseline to the second cycle of 26.66 % medium category . Preliminary results on the mental activity has on average 43.58 % , 74.35 % in the first cycle , the second cycle of 74.35 % , an increase of mental activity from baseline to the second cycle of 30.77 % medium category . Preliminary results have emotional activity on average 37.49 % , 83.62 % in the first cycle , the second cycle of 94.32 % , an increase in activity from baseline to the emotional cycle II was 56.74 % higher category . This suggests that the method can Jarimatika increase student learning activities in the classroom subjects SDN No. II . 13 Trans SP . I Mukok Sanggau district . Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan Minat Pembelajaran IPA Dengan Menggunakan Media Tepat Guna Kelas 111 SDN 15 Seningkang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Ingin mendeskripsikan peningkatan perhatian, ketertarikan, kemauan dengan menggunakan Media Tepat Guna SDN 15 Seningkang. Metode yang digunakan Metode Deskriptif sedangkan bentuk penelitian yaitu Survei Kelembagaan .Minat Pembelajaran siswa yang meliputi minat perhatian pada pengamatan awal menghasilkan rata-rata 33,33%,ke siklus 111 93,75% sangat tinggi ketertarikan pada baseline rata-rata mencapai 31,25% siklus III rata-rata mencapai 91,66 % kategori sangat tinggi sedangkan kemauan baseline rata-rata mencapai 33% , siklus III rata-rata mencapai 90,62 % kategori sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwapenggunaan media tepat guna dapat meningkatkan minat pembelajaran siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Beduai, Kabupaten Sanggau. Kata Kunci: peningkatan minat belajar, media tepat guna Abstract: Increasing Interest in Natural Sciences Learning Using effective Media Class 3 Public Elementary School Subdistrict 15 Seningkang Beduai Sanggau. The purpose of this research was to describe Wish increased attention, interest, willingness learning using effective Media on science lessons on grade 3 students of SDN 15 Seningkang. The method used descriptive method of research that while the shape of Institutional Survey. Subjects were Teachers and Students Class 3 Public Primary School 15 Seningkang, amounting to 8 people. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the following results: The study was conducted as many as 3 cycles, the results obtained are a student Interests include attention to the baseline average of 33.33% lower category, I cycle an average of 53.12 % category is quite high, the second cycle an average of 75% higher and cycle III category average of 93.75% is very high category. For interest at baseline averaged 31.25% lower category, the cycle I averaged 45.83 high category, the second cycle averaged 75% higher category and third cycle an average of 91.66% category very high while the willingness to baseline average of 33% lower category, I cycle an average of 43.75% category is quite high, the second cycle an average of 75% higher and cycle III category average of 90.62 % very high category. This suggests that the use of appropriate media to enhance students' interest in learning class III elementary school 15 Beduai, Sanggau. Keywords: improving learning, effective media

Abstract

     AbstarctThe background of this research is the low ability of the students in identifying intrinsic element of saga caused by difficulties in mastering a content of a saga text. Formulation of the problem in this research is Ecola techniques can improve saga discovery learning on students of class X D of Sinar Kasih Senior High School Sintang. The purpose of this research is to describe improvement identify intrinsic element of saga with Ecola techniques on students of class X D of Sinar Kasih Senior High School Sintang. The scope of this research is students of class X D Sinar Kasih Senior High School Sintang. The method used in this research is descriptive and the type of research used in this research is qualitative. Research subjects are students of class X D with the number of 21 students of Sinar Kasih Senior High School Sintang. This form of research is carried out in the form of classroom action research. Data collection technique is carried out by observation and measurement/test techniques. Learning planning identify intrinsic element of saga cycle I got result 63%, cycle II got result 79% and cycle III got result 86%. The implementation of learning identified intrinsic elements with ecola techniques in the first cycle of the first meeting to got result 61% and the second meeting got result 60%. The second cycle, it increased on the first meeting got result 76% and on the second meeting it increased from previous cycle which got result 76%. On the cycle III of first meeting it increased 89% and on the second meeting it got result 93%. The average value of students in the first cycle reached 63. The results of the average value in the second cycle increased by 73, and it increased good enough in cycle III with an average value of 79.        Keywords: Enhancement, Intrinsic element of saga, Extending concept through  Language activities technique

Abstract

Abstrak : judul penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kualitas belajar yang menyenangkan pada pembelajaran IPA di SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperbaiki kinerja peneliti sebagai seorang guru dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kualitas belajar yang menyenangkan peserta didik melalui metode inquiry pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas VI SD 16 Mundun Pejugan. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode deskriftip dengan pendekatan kualitatif dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitiannya adalah 7 orang peserta didik kelas VI. Hasil penelitian setelah di analisis ternyata mengalami peningkatan kualitas belajar interaktif dari base line ke siklus III 85,66%. Peningkatan kualitas belajar dinamis dari base line ke siklus III 50%. Peningkatan kualitas belajar menarik 64,2%. Peningkatan kualitas belajar gembira 64,2%. Peningkatan kualitas belajar atraktif 78,1. % Kata kunci : Kualitas belajar menyenangkan , metode inquiry, pembelajaran IPA. Abstrac : The title of this research is to improve the quality of learning fun in learning science in elementary school. This study aims to improve improve the performance of the researcher as a teacher and describe improved quality fun learning students through the inquiry method of teaching Natural Sciences in sixth grade 16 Mundun Pejugan. The research method used is deskriftip method with qualitative approach in the form of classroom action research (CAR). 7 research subject is class VI student. The result after the analysis turns out to increase the quality of learning interaktif of base line to the third cycle of 85,66%. Improving the quality of dynamic of the base line to the third cycle of 50%. Improving the quality of learning attractive 64,2%. 64,2% improving the quality of learning happily.
