Abstract

Abstrak: Kepala sekolah merupakan pemimpin pendidikan yang memiliki peran sentral dalam membawa keberhasilan lembaga pendidikan karena dia berperan memandu, menuntun, membimbing, membangun, memotivasi kerja, mengemudikan organisasi, menjalin jaringan komunikasi yang baik dengan komunitas sekolah, lingkungan sekitar dan yang lainnya.Kepemimpinan sebagai salah satu fungsi manajemen merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Kepemimpinan adalah suatu kekuatan penting dalam rangka pengelolaan, oleh sebab itu kemampuan memimpin secara efektif (effective leader) merupakan kunci keberhasilan organisasi/sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Realitas budaya releigius yang dikembangkan Kepala Sekolah tercermin melalui nilai-nilai atau norma-norma yang cukup mewarnai aktivitas seluruh komponen sekolah; (2) Keterampilan Konsep kepala sekolah teraplikasi melalui penguatan karakter, yakni memiliki sikap dan prilaku keagamaan yang dicerminkan lewat bekerja maksimal, dan jujur; (3) Keterampilan manusiawi kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama melaui pembiasaan sikap saling pengertian dan saling percaya telah dalam diri warga sekolah, sehingga hubungan baik pun tercipta diantara mereka sekalipun berbeda keyakinan dan kepercayaan dalam agama; (4) Keterampilan Teknik kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama terwujud dari sikap kebersamaan seperti peringatan hari besar agama-agama di SMP Negeri 7 Mataram menjadi salah satu elemen yang dihidupkan oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius agar warga sekolah memahami sekaligus menghargai beberapa macam dan model perayaan hari besar dari agama-agama yang berbeda; dan (5) Keterampilan Personal kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama terkristalisasi dalam Visi religius yang diemban oleh SMP Negeri 7 Mataram menjadi sebuah keharusan bagi warga sekolah untuk mewujudkannya dalam bentuk budaya religius. Abstract: The principal is an educational leader who has a central role in bringing the success of an educational institution because he plays a role in guiding, holding, supervising, building, motivating work, steering the organization, establishing a good communication network with the school community, the environment and others. Leadership as one of management functions is very important to achieve organizational goals. Leadership is an important force in the framework of management, therefore, the ability to lead effectively is the key to success of the organization/school. The research results showed: (1) The reality of religious culture developed by the Principal is reflected through the values or norms that adequately color the activity of all school’s components; (2) The concept skills of principals is applied through the characters’ strengthening that is to have attitudes and religious behaviors reflected through maximum work, and honest; (3) The principal’s humanity skill in developing a religious culture through the habit of mutual understanding and mutual trust within the school community, so that good relations are created among them despite their different beliefs in religion; (4) The principal's technical skill in developing the religious culture is manifested from the attitude of togetherness such as the commemoration of religious days in SMP Negeri 7 Mataram became one of the raised elements by the Principal in developing the religious culture so that the school’s member understood and appreciated several kinds and models the celebration of the great day of different religions; and (5) The principal’s personal skills in developing religious culture is crystallized in the religious vision carried by SMP Negeri 7 Mataram becomes a necessity for the school’s member to make it happen in the form of religious culture. Abstract

Pada kondisi pendidikan sekarang ini, pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu pilihan utama yang harus diadakan di sekolah. Pengembangan karakter tidak terlepas dari kontribusi guru sebagai pendidik dan sekaligus memotivasi siswa belajar dengan giat untuk mencapai tujuan yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Apakah Ada korelasi kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap pengembangan karakter di MAN 1 Kandai 2 Dompu. 2) Apakah Ada korelasi motivasi belajar terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa di Man Kandai 2 Dompu. 3) Apakah Ada korelasi kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa di Man 1 Kandai 2 Dompu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survey. Penelitian survey yang dimaksud adalah bersifat menjelaskan hubungan kausal dan pengujian hipotesis antara variabel kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1), motivasi belajar (X2), dan pengembangan karakter (Y). Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuisioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat korelasi secara parsial kompetensi pedagogik guru dan pengembangan karakter dengan nilai t signifikansi sebesar (0,000 0,05), nilai koefisien determinan sebesar 59,8% dengan katagori “sedang” dan konstribusi nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 35,8%. korelasi secara parsial motivasi belajar dan pengembangan karakter dengan nila t signifikansi sebesar (0,000 0,05), nilai koefisien determinan sebesar 45,1% dengan katagori “sedang” dan konstribusi nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 20,4%. Sedangkan pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa dengan nilai Sig. F sebesar (0,000 0,05), dengan nilai koefisien determinan sebesar 65,1% dengan katagori “kuat” dan konstribusi nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 42,2%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning melalui kegiatan praktikum IPA terpadu terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa MTs Hidayatullah Mataram pada kelas VIIIA danVIIIB tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Jumlah populasi 200 siswa dan sampel 50 siswa, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimental design dengan pendekatan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yaitu dibagi menjadi 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas ekperimen diajarkan dengan model discovery learning dan pada kelas kontrol diajarkan denag model konvensional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan nontes. Metode non tes yang digunakan adalah observasi, dan dokumentasi dan metode tes berupa soal keterampilan berpikir kritis. Setelah penelitian, data-data yang diperoleh dilakukan uji prasyarat yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh ttabel = 2, 056 dan thitung = 3,492, maka diketahui nilai thitung (2, 056) ttabel (3,492) dengan dk yang besarnya dk = n1 + n2 : 2 dengan taraf signifikansinya 5%. Karena thitung lebih besar dari ttabell pada taraf signifikan 5% maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning melalui kegiatan praktikum IPA terpadu berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Self-Efficacy on Teachers Organizational Citizenship Behavior: A Case of MTsN 1 Kota Mataram. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram City. Methods: This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Mataram City teachers as many as 62 people. The sampling technique is popular. The data collection technique used is the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis using simple linear regression and t-test. Self-efficacy indicators consist of magnitude, generality, and strength. Indicators of organizational citizenship behavior are altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship, courtesy, and civic virtue. Findings: The results of the simple regression test showed that the significance value was less than 0.05. The results of the t-test also show that the t-count value of 3.830 is greater than the t-count value of 1.685. Conclusion: This indicates that there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and the organizational citizenship behavior of teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram City.Keywords: self-efficacy, organizational citizenship behavior, junior high school teacher.Abstrak: Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior Guru: Kasus di MTsN 1 Kota Mataram. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap organizational citizenship behavior guru di MTsN 1 Kota Mataram. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di guru-guru MTsN 1 Kota Mataram sebanyak 62 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel bersifat populatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah penyebaran angket. Analisis data meggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan uji-t. Indikator efikasi diri terdiri dari magnitude, generality, dan strength. Indikator organizational citizenship behavior adalah altruisme, conscientiousness, sportmanship, courtesy, serta civic virtue. Temuan: Hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai 0.05. Hasil uji t juga menujukkan bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 3.830 lebih besar dibandingkan nilai t hitung sebesar 1.685. Kesimpulan: Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan organizational citizenship behavior guru MTsN 1 Kota Mataram.Kata kunci: efikasi diri, organizational citizenship behavior, guru SMP. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202227

Abstract

Instruction that focuses on remembering and understanding domains become one of the factors causing students' low ability on problem-solving skill (PSS) in physics. Discovery learning with a cognitive conflict approach becomes one of the solutions to solve this problem. This research aims at finding students' problem-solving skill improvement through discovery learning using the cognitive conflict approach. This research is a Research and Development. The lesson plan that has been developed was widely tried out in the two classes. Data collection of such improvement used to pretest and posttest result on problem-solving skill. The problem-solving indicators applied in this research refer to Docktor & Heller's indicator (2009), such as problems identification, physics description, and specific application of physics, mathematical procedure, and logical conclusion. Based on the N-gain analysis result, it was found that discovery learning using the cognitive conflict approach can improve students' problem skills. Moreover, the N-gain test result on every sub-material work, energy, work and energy conversion, and conservation of energy laws were included in the moderate and high improvement category. Likewise, every problem-solving skill indicator was included in moderate and high improvement categories.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe Kindergarten Teachers' Perceptions of Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic in the City of Mataram. The research subjects were 12 teachers from kindergarten institutions in 6 sub-districts in Mataram City. Data collection methods are interviews, documentation, and observation. The research time starts from January to March 2021. Data analysis consists of presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results showed that technological devices as distance learning tools were used during the covid-19 pandemic; preparation of schedules, media, learning applications, learning tools prepared before learning begins; students are less focused when learning online, causing ineffective learning; the internet is less stable; and the role of parents is needed in assisting students during online learning at home.

Abstract

This study aims to develop effective and efficient contextual physics teaching materials for students and teachers in the Covid-19 pandemic. The teaching materials are based on virtual lab-based Android so that they can be used in any conditions, including when applying physical distancing protocols at school or study from home (SFH). The teaching materials in the form of this application makes it easy for students to access the content on their mobile phones even when they cannot connect to the internet. Also, this application is very easy for teachers to be used. The research method used is based on the 4D model, that is define, design, develop and disseminate. The teaching materials that have been developed passed the first stage test with a Very Good result. The validity test is assessed by expert validators. The subject material used in this study is limited to Reflection and Refraction of Light. The response of students using the teaching materials is Good. According to the students, the teaching materials are easy to use, motivate learning, and deem effective in its implementation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of information related to the ability that students must possess today, namely collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creative thinking ability. The purpose of this study was to analyze in more detail the students' 4C abilities in solving science problems in terms of gender. This research includes quantitative research involving the first-semester of science students of FTK UIN Mataram who are taking introductory physics courses. The participants used in this study were 67 students, of which 32 were male students and 35 were female students.  Collaboration and communication ability are measured during the lecture process using observation sheets. Critical thinking and creative thinking were measured using written test questions with a description of 10 questions each. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Rash modeling. The results showed that female students' collaboration and creative thinking abilities were better than male students. The results also showed that male students' communication and critical thinking ability were better than female students. In general, the 4C abilities possessed by female students and male students are not much different

Abstract

This study aims to develop ILAU Digital Based on Android in improving student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education materials in Madrasah Aliah. This type of research is included in Research and Development (R&D) with development stages such as define, design, develop and disseminate. Data collection techniques used in this study are expert validation, response questionnaires, and written tests. Validity data analysis using Aiken’s V and Percentage of Agreement. Analysis of increased learning outcomes using the N-Gain test. Taking data on learning outcomes based on the Nonequivalent Control Group design so that there are experimental and control classes. The results of expert validator assessment show that the research instrument and products developed are included in the very valid category. Students and teachers give very good responses to the use of products. Ilau Digital based on Android is practically used in learning. Meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness test show that Android -based digital ilau products can improve student learning outcomes and affect student learning outcomes. The increase that occurred after the use of the product was 82% and included in the effective category. The conclusion of this study is that the development of Android -based digital ilau can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Online Service System-Based Institution Management on Learning Quality and Academic Achievement. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the management of online service system -based institutions on the quality of the learning process and academic achievement. Methods: This research is a quantitative research. The sample used was nine junior high schools in the city of Mataram. Data were analyzed using path analysis. Findings: The results show that the education costs of several independent variables have a positive and significant influence between variables because the value (Cr) is greater than 2 and an insignificant effect occurs between variables because the value (Cr) is smaller From 2. The quality of the learning process both directly and indirectly has a positive and significant influence on academic achievement in junior high schools. Conclusions: The results show that the efficiency of the online service system-based institution management on learning quality and academic achievement in junior high schools in City of Mataram have significant and insignificant effects on several variables.Keywords: online service systems, institutional management, quality of the learning process, academic achievementAbstrak: Pengaruh Manajemen Institusi Berbasis Sistem Pelayanan Online Terhadap Mutu Proses Pembelajaran dan Prestasi Akademik. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen institusi berbasis sistem pelayanan online terhadap mutu proses pembelajaran dan prestasi akademik. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel pyang digunakan adalah 9 sekolah SMPN di Kota Mataram. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya Pendikan dari beberapa variabel bebas memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan antar variabel karena nilai (Cr) lebih besar dari 2 serta pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terjadi antara variabel karena nilai (Cr) lebih kecil dari 2. Mutu proses pembelajaran baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik pada SMP. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi pengelolaan lembaga berbasis sistem pelayanan online terhadap mutu proses pembelajaran dan prestasi akademik di SMP se-Kota Mataram memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan tidak signifikan terhadap beberapa variabel.Kata kunci: sistem pelayanan online, pengelolaan lembaga, mutu proses pembelajaran, prestasi akademik.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v13.i2.202328
