Abstract

The influence of globalization brings a phenomenon, namely the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) or the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Globalization has a great influence on the world of industry and organizations, namely connecting industrial and organizational activities to be without boundaries. In the company that the author will examine, namely PT. Krakatau Daedong Machinery, located in Indonesia, Cilegon, Banten, has not been able to stabilize basic sales revenue. This phenomenon indicates the low performance of employees. The high and low performance of the employee is predicted by the level of the variables that influence it, namely expatriate cross-cultural leadership and job satisfaction. This study uses a survey with the type of verificative explanation research on 96 employees. Analysis and interpretation of the results of data processing using descriptive analysis and verification analysis (Partial Least Square). The results of the analysis show that the variable cross-cultural leadership of South Korean expatriates is included in the high category while the variables of job satisfaction and performance are included in the moderate category and the strengths and weaknesses of South Korean cross-cultural leadership have a positive and significant influence on the level of job satisfaction and employee performance. The level of job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on the level of employee performance.

Abstract

PT. Inkomas Lestari is the first and only producer from Indonesia to produce tin chemicals and polymer additives. The products produced by PT. Inkomas Lestari is not only able to meet the needs of the local market, but also meet the needs of the international market by exporting its products to Germany, Korea, China and several countries in the Asian region. However, based on the results of the evaluation conducted by researchers, PT. Inkomas Lestari is known to not optimize its inventory management, in which the company does not keep stock of raw material inventory in the warehouse, so that it often experiences an increase in inventory costs. This research was conducted with the aim of reducing inventory costs by calculating the safety stock needed by the company using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Based on the calculation results, it is known that PT. Inkomas Lestari with the EOQ method obtained a total inventory cost of Rp. 1,888,637,963 which is lower than the company using the conventional method which has to pay Rp. 2,112,320,822, then with a difference in total inventory cost of Rp. 223,682,857. This means that the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method can be considered more efficient than the conventional method currently being applied by the company.

Abstract

The main problem in marketing communications is the communication channels that can be used in marketing programs. The purpose of this research is to answer the question of how the role of social media Instagram on the development of digital marketing. This research applies the Systematic Literature Review method. Based on the results, the researcher found 136 Scopus articles in a search using Publish or Perish and the help of other applications such as Zotero, Mendeley, VOSViewer, and Microsoft Excel which were then filtered into 55 selected articles for descriptive analysis. The findings show that social media Instagram has contributed to the development of digital marketing. Social media Instagram has played a role as a marketing communication medium, increasing brand awareness, influencing consumer engagement and behavior, and generating data that supports marketing strategies.
