Abstract

This study aims was to examine of the correlation between tutors and tutors competence with the results of the students writing skills of the distance learning Open University Makassar. This research was ex post facto research. The populations were 387 and the samples were 100. The samples were taken multistage random sampling technique. The data were questionnaire and documentation study of the final semester examinations score. The results demonstrate that (1) there was a positive and significance correlation between tutors (Y = 11.463 + 1.157X1) with R Square of 55,2%. This means that 55.2% of the variation which occurred in the results of the writing skills can be explained by variation of tutors through regression equation Y = 11.463 + 1.157 X1. (2) there was a positive and significance correlation between of tutors’ competence Y = 21,986 + 0,354X2 with R Square 57,6%. It means that 57.6% of the variation occurs on the results of the quality of writing skills can be explained by variations in the tutors’ competence through regression equation, Y = 21,986 + 0,354X2. (3) there was a positive and significant correlation between of tutors and tutors’ competence with Freg = 42.827 and R Square was 71.7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi profesional, pedagogik, dan kompetensi keterampilan dasar tutorial dengan kinerja tutor PG PAUD di UPBJJ UT Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 550 dan sampel ditetapkan sebesar 213 mahasiswa PG PAUD. Penetapan sampel menggunakan tabel Isaac dan Michael dan penarikan sampel menggunakan multistage rundom sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam dua cara, yaitu menyebarkan angket tertutup secara daring dan secara luring. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi product moment dari Pearson dengan fasilitas SPSS 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kompetensi profesional (X1) dengan kinerja tutor (Y), koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,849a (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik (X2) dengan konerja tutor (Y), koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,873a (3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kompetensi keterampilan dasar tutorial (X3), dengan kinerja tutor (Y), koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,842a, dan (4) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kompetensi professional X1), kompetensi pedagogik (X2),dan kompetensi keterampilan dasar tutorial (X3), dengan kinerja tutor (Y) koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,908a. Artinya, pengaruh antara variabel X1, X2,X3 dengan variabel Y sangat kuat

Abstract

“O Ammalek” is the name of the grandmother/mother. In the book “O Ammalek” reflects on reminiscing/memorabilia for the grandmother or mother who raised the author and this moment becomes information how meaningful life means with the presence of “O Ammalek” so that anyone for a mother is very multi-meaning in a life. Code-mixing is the process of transferring linguistic units from one language to another to broaden the language’s style or variety. Code-mixing is a component of sociolinguistics that occurs not only orally but also in writing. Language is a tool that humans use to express their thoughts and feelings. Language is a means of communication that is critical in the expression of the soul. The purpose of this study is to examine the structure, function, type, and elements that contribute to the creation of code-mixing in a collection of poems by Goenawan Monoharto, entitled “O Ammalek” (2020). Qualitative descriptive method was used in this study. The primary source of data for this study is Goenawan Monoharto’s poetry collection "O Ammalek." Data were collected by researchers using documentation techniques and analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data reduction entailed summarizing, selecting the essentials, concentrating on the critical, and deleting the irrelevant. The qualitative study employed a narrative format for the data display, while the conclusion was drawn based on the supporting evidence gathered during the research process. The results indicated that (1) There are two substantial things in O Ammalek's poetry book, namely the game of meaning and the game of sound. Wordplay in vertical typhography and phoneme play in typhoid is meaningless. “O Ammalek” is a book of poems written by Goenawan Monoharto in 2020. “O Ammalek's” poetry book contains 66 poems. 15 poems using a mixture of mangkasarak (Makassar) language. (2) employed code-mixing in the Mangkasarak language in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and idioms that served as a means of respecting an individual, confirming meaning, explaining, demonstrating self-identity, influencing a conversation, adjusting the topic/material, and expressing feelings or emotional situations, (3) code mixing in the form of words. The word "taena" indicates code mixing in the Mangkasarak language. This term translates as "no" in Indonesian, code-mixing in the form of phrases, and (4) One of the causes of code mixing is the identification of roles, identification of variations, desire to interpret, and inappropriate expressions in the language used by the speaker.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sikap kreatif, konsep diri, dan kesiapan diri dengan kemampuan menulis deskripsi mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian 227 orang dan sampel yang ditetapkan 34 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data ada dua, yaitu tes menulis deskripsi mahasiswa dan non tes berupa kuesioner Pendidikan Dasar di UPBJJ UT Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan teknik kuesioner tertutup dan tes menulis wacana deskripsi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis korelasional regresi linear sederhana dan regresi ganda product moment dengan fasilitas SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sikap kreatif dengan kemampuan menulis wacana deskripsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Dasar, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kemampuan menulis deskripsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Dasar, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kesiapan diri dengan kemampuan menulis deskriptif mahasiswa Pendidikan Dasar, dan (4) hasil analisis secara bersama-sama. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah antara sikap kreatif dengan kemampuan menulis deskripsi mahasiswa memiliki pengaruh signifikan, sedangkan Konsep Diri dan Kesiapan Diri tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Implikasi sikap kreatif, konsep diri, dan kesiapan diri yang kuat memberikan kontribusi peningkatan kemampuan menulis wacana deskripsi mahasiswa
