Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui konseptualisasi metafora dalam rubrik opini Harian Fajar melalui Kajian Semantik Kognitif. Sumber data penelitian diambil dari rubrik opini Harian Fajar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi, teknik baca dan teknik catat, serta teknik intuisi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu mengidentifikasi kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung metafora konseptual, mengklasifikasi data berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, menganalisis data dengan mendeskripiskan secara mendetail permasalahan yang terdapat dalam data yang telah dikumpulkan, dan penyajian hasil analisis data dengan mendeskripsikan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan perumusan yang akan dituangkan dalam bentuk tulisan dengan menggunakan kata-kata biasa.Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dalam rubrik opini Harian Fajar edisi dua pekan pada bulan Maret 2021 ditemukan 3 jenis metafora dan 27 kata ungkapan metaforis, yaitu (1) metafora struktural sebanyak 5 data, (2) metafora orientasional sebanyak 7 data, dan (3) metafora ontologis sebanyak 15 data. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metafora ontologi lebih dominan ditemukan dalam penulisan rubrik opini dibandingkan dengan metafora struktural dan orientasional.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of language politeness in comments posted on the Lambeturah Instagram account. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data from this study is in the form of written language which contains elements of language politeness contained in the Lambeturah Instagram account which is then analyzed and studied based on studies that are in accordance with the focus of the research and the source of the data from this research is reader responses or comments on the Lambeturah Instagram account. The research results obtained in this study were as many as 29 data. Among them, there are 8 data of sympathy maxims, 6 data in the form of consensus maxim, 5 data in the form of appreciation maxim and 10 data in the form of wisdom maxim.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the Google Classroom application to improve creative writing skills in students of the PGSD FKIP Unismuh Makassar study program. This research is a quantitative research. The research sample is 30 people. The instruments to be used in this research are: observation notes, questionnaires and performance tests. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis using the SPSS 25.0 for windows program. Based on the research results, it is known that there is an increase in creative writing learning outcomes of 23.98%. These results indicate that the Google Classroom application can improve creative writing learning outcomes and improve student performance in online learning.

Abstract

The Context of Speech in the Minutes of Cases of Body Shaming at the Makassar District Court: A Forensic Linguistic Study. The purpose of this study is to describe the context of the speech and find out the existing legal review of the body shaming case at the Makassar District Court. This research is a descriptive study using the ethnographic theory of communication. The object of research is the case report. The data collection instruments in this study were the documentation method and note-taking. The data that has been identified is then broken down into SPEAKING elements, which are an acronym for building elements of the context of speech events. Furthermore, the SPEAKING elements consist of settings and scenes, participants, ends, acts, keys, instrumentals, standards, and genres. The results showed that the use of the word "cilang" in the sentence "Oee Cilang, stop! (Oi Cilang, stop it!)" uttered by Risma was not in the swearing category.

Abstract

The Language of Captivating Customers' Hearts: Language Creativity in the Creative Industry. This study aims to: (1) describe the form of language in the creative industry of fashion products (2) describe the function of language in fashion products that use the customer's heart (3) describe consumer responsses to language that creates attractiveness. This type of research is qualitative research. Sources of data in this study are the fashion industry, and informants based on gender, age, and occupation. Data collection techniques were carried out by documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The research instrument consisted of the main instrument being the researcher and the supporting instruments, namely voice recordings, and data analysis guides. The results of the study revealed that the forms of language used in T-shirt products were the use of regional languages, wise words, word games, proverbs, plays, rhymes, expressions, appeals, and funny words. The language functions in t-shirt fashion products are the entertaining function, the motivating function, and the inspiring function. In addition, consumer responsses can be seen on the three variables such as by gender, age, and occupation. Various forms of language use on t-shirts are due to different consumer choices/tastes, with various language functions that make consumers really believe in choosing these fashion products.

Nurmila Auliya. 2023. The Relationship between Reading Skills and Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes for Class IV UPTD SPF SD Negeri 64 Medde, Soppeng Regency. Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. Supervisor I Sitti Aida Aziz and Advisor II Syahruddin.This study aims to determine the relationship between reading skills and learning outcomes for Indonesian language students in class IV UPTD SPF SD Negeri 64 Medde, Soppeng Regency. This type of research is a quantitative correlation research. The population of this study were all students of class IV UPTD SPF at SD Negeri 64 Medde, Soppeng Regency. The sample of this research is 19 people. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive analysis techniques and correlation analysis between the independent variables and the dependent variable by utilizing SPSS version 23.The results of this study indicate that the correlation coefficient between reading skills and Indonesian learning outcomes is rxy = 0.947, this correlation is included in the very strong category and sig. shows the number 0.000 which shows that there is a significant difference between reading skills and Indonesian learning outcomes because p < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between reading skills and the results of learning Indonesian for class IV UPTD SPF SD Negeri 64 Medde, Soppeng Regency.
