Abstract

We are facing a lot of environmental issue right now. One of the environmental problem is household and industrial waste such as plastic. Plastic waste is becoming a widely recognised environmental problem. The government of Samarinda has been banned plastic bags in grocery stores in order to reduce plastic waste as determined by Mayor Regulation No. 8 of 2019. Lots of people are looking for reusable shopping bag. One of the alternative to plastic grocery bag is burlap bag. The traditional market sellers often sell their grain in burlap sacks and may be willing to give away the unusable sacks. Burlap is very useful and has many specific application, like grocery bag and pouch. Burlap grocery bag can be adorned with patch, embroidery and beads. The aim of community service is to teach housewives to design and apply patch onto the burlap grocery bag, as traditional market waste, in order to increase the value of product. The result of the class is : improved their skill in designing and creating patch on burlap bag. It is hoped that the class will support the potential of creativity industry by reusing the waste material.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Nutritional problems in Samarinda occur because they are related to poverty, diet, health, and also cleanliness. So that a nutrition clinic is needed which is a health facility that provides complete basic medical services, namely good and complete services. This building will be specifically designed to serve nutrition with modern architectural styles and linear space organizations. The facade of the building that will be applied to this nutrition clinic is by using a modern style. At this clinic will use the temple's black natural stone and glass riben on the facade of the building. The facade of this building also uses secondary wood skin to reduce the entry of afternoon sunlight into the building. Linear organizations are used to make it easier for visitors to enter the building and also to separate zones so that when visitors enter the building, they will immediately enter the semi-public, private, and service zones. Semi-public zones, such as lobby, reception, and administration. Private zone is consultation rooms. Service zones such as lavatories and prayer rooms. Kata Kunci: Facade, Nutritional, Nutrition clinic, Modern Architecture ABSTRAK Masalah gizi di Samarinda terjadi karena berkaitan dengan kemiskinan, pola makan, kesehatan, dan juga kebersihan. Sehingga dibutuhkan klinik gizi yang merupakan fasilitas kesehatan yang memberikan pelayanan medik dasar yang paripurna yaitu pelayanan yang baik dan lengkap. Bangunan ini akan dirancang khusus untuk melayani gizi dengan gaya arsitektur modern dan organisasi ruang linier. Fasad bangunan yang akan diterapkan pada klinik gizi ini yaitu dengan menggunakan gaya modern. Pada klinik ini akan menggunakan batu alam candi berwarna hitam dan kaca riben pada fasad bangunannya. Fasad bangunan ini juga menggunakan secondary skin kayu untuk mengurangi masuknya sinar matahari sore ke dalam bangunan. Organisasi linier digunakan agar mempermudah pengunjung memasuki bangunan dan juga pemisahan zona sehingga ketika pengunjung memasuki bangunan akan langsung berurutan memasuki zona semi publik, privat, dan servis. Zona semi publik yaitu seperti lobby, resepsionis, dan administrasi. Zona privat yaitu ruang-ruang konsultasi. Zona servis seperti wc dan musholla. Abstract

Kutai vernacular houses are proven to perform better than most modern houses in Tenggarong with respect to climatic change. Its adaptation is a continuing process including necessary changes as a response to social and environmental constraints. Unfortunately, Kutai vernacular houses are not far from becoming extinct due to maintenance issue, flood prone area, lack of awareness among the owner and less local government regulations. The research project aims to make conservation guideline of the Kutai vernacular house. The structure and construction of Kutai vernacular house is most frequently observed. We envisage that the research project will contribute the guidelines of conservation to any stakeholders. In conclusion, conservation guideline is based on available resources

Abstract

One of the main material component used in the Indonesian construction industry is steel. Excess properties owned by the steel is ductile, which has a higher elasticity than the main material that is widely used in Indonesia, such as concrete. Increased use of steel as the primary material forming structural components made of steel industry including steel supplier undertakes research to improve steel quality, both in terms of structural directly to construction, as well as to the needs of the market in general. Innovation made by the suppliers of the steel as a construction material providers strongly influenced by the trend types and profiles are widely used in certain constructions. Needs to know the steel consumption is accomplished by conducting research on the historical data in theconstruction sector. From the analysis of data from different sources in the construction of high rise buildings obtained ratio of the average value of consumption of steel to concrete consumption valueis a percentage value 2.07 with steel to the value of the project is 25.92%. Steel consumption values for each of the building is determined by the function of building, the location of the building and the building construction. Value of steel material consumption has increased every year for the national construction value, which might be caused by an increase in the quantity of material consumption due to the increasing number of buildings is done and increase the unit price of steel. Needs of most of the applications contained in the beams and foundation, where the high rise building project has most of the tonnage and value are always increase every year. Salah satu komponen material utama yang dipergunakan pada industri konstruksi Indonesia adalah baja. Kelebihan sifat yang dimiliki oleh baja adalah ulet, yang memiliki elastisitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan material utama yang banyak dipergunakan di Indonesia seperti beton. Peningkatan penggunaan baja sebagai material utama pembentuk komponen struktural membuat para pelaku industri baja termasuk supplier baja melakukan berbagai penelitian untuk meningkatkan kualitas baja, baik dari segi struktural untuk konstruksi secara langsung, maupun untuk kebutuhan pasar pada umumnya. Inovasi yang dilakukan oleh para pemasok baja sebagai penyedia material konstruksi sangat dipengaruhi oleh tren jenis dan profil yang banyak digunakan dalam konstruksi-konstruksi tertentu. Kebutuhan untuk mengetahui konsumsi baja tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan penelitian terhadap data historis dalam sektor konstruksi. Dari hasil analisa data dari sumber yang berbeda pada konstruksi gedung tingkat tinggi didapat rasio rata-rata nilai konsumsi baja terhadap nilai konsumsi beton adalah 2.07 dengan persentase nilai baja terhadap nilai proyek adalah 25.92%. Nilai konsumsi baja untuk masing-masing gedung ditentukan oleh fungsi gedung, lokasi gedung dan tahun pelaksanaan konstruksi gedung. Nilai konsumsi material baja mengalami peningkatan tiaptahunnya terhadap nilai konstruksi nasional yang kemungkinan dapat disebabkan oleh peningkatan kuantitas konsumsi material karena semakin banyaknya gedung yang dikerjakan dan peningkatan harga satuan baja. Kebutuhan aplikasi baja paling besar terdapat pada balok dan pondasi, dimana dalam proyek gedung tingkat tinggi memiliki tonase dan nilai paling besar yang selalu mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya.

Abstract

Panti Asuhan merupakan salah satu tempat untuk membina dan merehabilitasi kembali kondisi anak yatim, baik fisik, mental maupun kehidupan sosialnya. Salah satu Panti Asuhan yang ada di Samarinda adalah Panti Asuhan Baitul Walad. Akan tetapi desain tapak maupun bangunan yang ada saat ini jauh dari kata layak dalam segi arsitektural. Maka perlu dilakukan redesain untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan bagi penghuni dan menambah minat bagi pengunjung. Panti Asuhan dan Asrama Putri ini menggunakan gaya bangunan Modern Kontemporer dengan menggunakan material sesuai perkembangan zaman dan mengurangi ornamen-ornamen pada fasad bangunan. Selain itu Panti Asuhan dan Asrama Putri Baitul Walad di Samarinda ini diharapkan menjadi sarana yang layak dikunjungi dengan fasilitas yang memadai dan berfungsi sebagai sarana kesejahteraan sosial

Abstract

Lots of entertainment and game facilities that are no longer active on Kumala Tenggarong Island have caused a decline in the number of visitors each year, one of the facilities is outdoor Gokart Arena which currently in poor condition. The solution to increase visitor attraction and reintroduce Karting to the public is by planning Gokart Arena and RC Cars Indoor Arena as entertainment and game-themed racing facilities on Kumala Tenggarong Island. However Gokart racing activities have a negative impact on the environment such as residual liquid (oil) and solid waste (iron frame, etc.), cause noise and pollution and require good lighting for the safety of racers, therefore building design is emphasized on utilities, especially wastewater, natural lighting and natural ventilation for sustainability and comfort of buildings and the environment can be maintained properly. The application of the industrialist architectural style to the facade and interior layout through material exposure elements creates a unique character in the building with a rough and masculine look.

Abstract

This study aims to design a Dayak Kenyah Cultural Research Center in Samarinda's Pampang Cultural Village using an emphasis on the appearance of contemporary Kenyah Dayak buildings and spatial organization. The benefits of this research resulted in a Cultural Research Center with good spatial planning and circulation and a place of education about Dayak Kenyah culture for the general public. The research method used is descriptive analytic and synthesis analysis with data collection techniques using observation techniques from observing facts in the field, interviews, and analysis of documents from literature studies related to the design concept of Dayak Kenyah Cultural Research Center. The results of the study are in the form of designing facilities by adjusting contemporary ethnic designs on building facades that provide elements of Dayak Kenyah cultural values such as adjusting the color of buildings to the typical colors of Dayak Kenyah culture and paying attention to the spatial planning in buildings used as places for cultural activities and research on Dayak Kenyah culture.
