Abstract

The practice of personal financial management among young people is currently getting serious attention, including among students. The problem is based on the implementation of basic financial knowledge which is still minimal. The development of good financial behaviour in students requires special attention because aspects of financial behaviour have a significant influence on their lives after graduating. This study aims to determine the effect of financial attitudes, behavioral control, and self-efficacy on financial behaviour. The type of research carried out is quantitative with primary data through a structured questionnaire. The research sample was selected from one college student with a total of 75 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling on active status students and had completed the Financial Management course. This research is based on The Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). The results revealed that financial attitudes and self-efficacy affected financial behaviour, while behavioral control did not affect financial behaviour. Good financial behaviour helps improve financial well-being where positive financial behaviour is associated with positive life outcomes

Abstract

Objective: This study discusses the importance of job crafting and workplace spirituality on the impact of role overload, which in turn leads to increase job performance. There is a limited previous research on job crafting and workplace spirituality, especially in the microfinance institutions. Research Design & Methods: Our research seeks to gain further understanding of the overall work overload occurrence, so we choose samples from microfinance institutions that can be expected to show excessive roles because of character of their work that is frequently in high pressure. Data collected from 119 questionnaires were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SMART-PLS software. Findings: The results showed that employees experienced work overload of both quantitative overload (feeling of any more work than the available time allocation) and qualitative overload (sense that the work requires skills, abilities and knowledge beyond the capacity of the individual), yet failed to show the role of workplace spirituality as a moderating variable. Implications & Recommendations: Future research can be carried out at larger institutions or industries and a larger number of samples for the sake of generalization and work overload occurence related to certain industrial situations. Contribution & Value Added: Our main contributions lie on the proposition that job crafting and workplace spirituality play a role in eliminating the impact of work overload. This study reinforces role evidence of job crafting and workplace spirituality on the impact of role overload.

Abstract

Financing in Sharia Micro Financing Institutions (BMT) is dominated by certainty contracts, as it has less risk than syirkah contract like Mudharabah or Musyarakah based on Natural Uncertainty Contract (NUC). Implementation constraints syirkah contracts exist on both parties, financial institutions and clients. due to lack of financial reports, honesty and transparency of the client's business (asismetric information). The Client gives a business report if the results obtained are small or equivalent to the bank interest rate, but if the business profit is good, then the profit share must be high. This research is a qualitative descriptive analytical research, to see the implementation of syirkah contract on Sharia Micro Finance Institution (BMT) in Jepara Regency and its syariah compliance based on DSN-MUI fatwa. The results showed that BMT in Jepara regency can not fulfill the compliance of shariah contract of Natural Uncertanty Contract (NUC) due to high risk, human resource capability and low comprehension and lack of client's financial report.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and map local superior commodities (LSC) in Jepara Regency using Shift Share Analysis, Growth Ratio Model Analysis (MRP), Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis, Overlay Analysis, and Klassen Typology Analysis. The analysis was carried out using the GRDP data for Jepara Regency and for Central Java Province. The research was conducted on five business sectors including the creative industry sector, the food processing sector, the food crop & plantation product processing sector, the fishery product processing sector and the agricultural product processing sector. The results of the identification of superior commodities in Jepara Regency show that the manufacturing sector has strong competitiveness or has a highly competitive advantage. It implies that local governments need to pay attention to business sectors that are experiencing a decline and relatively underdeveloped, improve managerial capabilities for business actors, especially in the manufacturing industry sector, and increase market access offline and online (omni), as well as develop innovation hubs.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the value of the impact generated from CSR programs on the implementation of Superman Sumanding's social innovation. In this approach, the program's effect has an essential meaning for the program's beneficiaries, namely the farming community groups in Sumanding Village. Research Design & Methods: This study used Social Return on Investment (SROI) as a research methodology. This research was conducted on the beneficiaries of the Superman Sumanding program and has considered all stakeholders directly or indirectly involved in the program. The research informants were 37, with details of 17 members of the Sumanding Village 'Guyub Rukun' Farmer Group and the Sumanding Village 'Karya Mukti' Peasant Women's Group of 20 people. Findings: The results show the SROI value of IDR9.19:1. This means that the CSR program carried out has been able to provide benefits of 9.19 times greater than the value of the inputs invested. The results showed that the CSR program run by PT PLN UIK TJB produced social returns on investment and provided economic, social, and environmental benefits. Implications & Recommendations: SROI as a solution that changes the mindset of investment analysis is based on outcomes rather than just outputs. A sound output does not necessarily deliver as expected, as focusing on the outcome will provide a better and more comprehensive perspective. The results of the SROI analysis become the basis for improving the planning of subsequent CSR programs. Contribution & Value Added: This study allows us to expand the evidence of the critical role of social innovation for peasant community groups, but so far, little studied and areas of application of SROI as an assessment methodology.

Abstract

Research aim: The study aims to assess the value of the impact of PT PLN UIK TJB's CSR program on the implementation of social innovation in Tubanan agroforestry. In this approach, the effect of the program has an essential meaning for the beneficiaries of the program, namely the farming community group in Tubanan Village. Design/Methode/Approach: This study used social return on investment (SROI) as a research methodology. This research was conducted on the beneficiaries of the Tubanan agroforestry program and considered all stakeholders directly or indirectly involved in the program. The research informants numbered 20 people who were members of the LMDH Tunas Agung in Tubanan Village. Research Finding: The results showed that the CSR programs generated social benefits on investment and provided economic, social, and environmental benefits. SROI as a solution that changes the mindset of investment analysis based on outcomes is not just output. Theoretical contribution/Originality: This study allows us to expand the evidence of the critical role of social innovation for farming community groups, but so far, little has been studied about the application of SROI as an assessment methodology. Practitionel/Policy implication: The results of the SROI analysis become the basis for improving the planning of subsequent CSR programs. Research limitation: The selection of financial results and the proxies used are potentially biased, even though the proxies have been quantified over a potential range, the impact value has been reduced by filters (deadweigh, attribution, displacement, drop-off), and only emphasizes the impact on hard results rather than soft ones, which are considered less valuable.
