Abstract

A growing belief has emerged that effectively managing knowledge can enhance per-formance. Prosperity now depends less on access to physical resources and more andmore on the ability to create economically useful new ideas. Knowledge is a centralfeature of post-industrial societies. The significance of knowledge as a vital resourcefor the world’s economies has been underlined; it forms the basis for innovation andeconomic success. Knowledge has become the most important basis for competition.More organizations core competencies will center around managing knowledge andknowledge worker. Knowledge management is the strategy for creating, accessingand supporting this vital resource. The task of knowledge worker is acquisition,creation, packaging, or application of knowledge. However, the nature of knowledgework is different from administrative and operational work and that the people whoperform it resist structured approaches. Abstract

At the moment customer satisfaction represent norm obliged to given by every organization.Besides, research proves that satisfaction unable to guarantee the happening of customer loyalty.Delight believed by practitioner and academician as construct, which can guarantee customerloyalty. Unhappily, till now research for searching the domain of delight still very rare. Thisresearch tries to search that domain with qualitative technique. Results of focus group yield fivevariables becoming delight domain that are: justice, esteem, security, trust, and variety.

Abstract

Human resources is a basic and essential element to support the advancement and success of the organization. In supporting the progress and success of the organization, each component must be communicated in order to share information and knowledge needed. This study aims to determine how the process of sharing information and knowledge (knowledge sharing) to achieve the agility or agility required by organizations to compete with other organizations. This research is devoted to identifying the process of sharing information and knowledge in PT Nikkatsu Electric Work. To answer the goals described earlier, this study used quantitative research methods with descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and hypothesis testing using F test and subsequent T This research also analyzes the goals set by using regression analysis and coefficient of determination. Based on the research that has been done, regression equation of Y = 39.985 + 3,260X. The study states that there is a positive relationship between knowledge sharing and organizational agility in PT. Nikkatsu Electric Work at 0.582 and knowledge sharing affect organizational agility 33.8%.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate model that explores the influence of social capital (structural, relational, and cognitive social capital) on knowledge sharing. The survey was administered in minimarket at Bandung. Employees of the minimarket participated in the survey, 180 surveys were used to investigate a research model and hypotheses using factor analysis and multiple regression. The research confirmed the importance of social capital in the context of knowledge sharing. The paper provides empirical evidence that every social capital dimensions have a significant effect on knowledge sharing. Cognitive social capital has the strongest effect on employees’ knowledge sharing. Finally, there are inter-relationships among the dimensions of social capital.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of knowledge sharing on the job performance of Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Java Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge sharing and job performance, and the influence of knowledge sharing on the job performance at Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Java Province. Knowledge sharing variables measured by knowledge donating and knowledge collecting (de Vries et al, 2006), while the job performance variable is measured by job role, career role, innovator role, team role and organizational role (Welbourne et al, 1998), Samples were employees of Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Java province, amounting to 103 people. Data collection techniques in this study were the observation and questionnaires. Data analysis technique used in this study is a simple linear regression. The data is processed by using SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science for Window) version 20.0. The results showed that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant influence on job performance. Based on the value of R Square of 0,139. Which means that 13,9% of job performance (Y) can be explained by knowledge sharing (X). While the remaining 86,1% can be explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the role of music and genre of music that produces the fastest typing speeds in words per minute. Respondent of this research divided into two groups. The first group is a control group that learned keyboarding skill without music, the rest group learned keyboarding skill with music. The music that used in that experiments coming from Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 26. The number of the word per minute for each respondent was recorded, three times, at the beginning, in the middle, and the end of the course; labeled by Kstart, Kmiddle, and Kend. In spite of identifying role of genre music to typing performance, the second group typed predetermined line while listening to different predetermined music. The genre categories uses were jazz, blues, rock, reggae, degung (Sundanese music), and classic. The number of words per minute for each respondent was recorded. Every respondent has three trials were run. The recorded information was compared. The result of this experiment showed that music played a significant role to shape typing performance. Second, this experiment showed that rock music produced the fastest typing speeds. Blues produced the second fastest typing speed. Jazz produces the third fastest typing speed.
