Abstract

This study aims to examine (1) theeeffect of monitoring on employeeiethical behavioriin the payroll system; (2) the effectiof controliactivities oniemployee ethicalibehavior in theipayroll system; and (3) influenceISimultaneous monitoringiand controliactivities for employeeiethical behavioriin the payroll system. This research was conducted at Universitas Triatma Mulya with a total sample of 45 people. The samplingatechnique uses in this study is total sampling techniques. This research uses quantitative research as the research method whileithe dataisource is primaryidata. The method of dataacollection isadone using aaquestionnaire. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) monitoring doesInot affect theIethical behavior of employees in the payroll system; (2) controlaactivities affectathe ethicalabehavior of employees inathe payrollisystem; and (3) monitoringiand controlIactivities simultaneouslyiinfluence the ethicalabehavior of employeesiin the payroll system.

Abstract

The development of the economy in Indonesia cannot be separated from the participation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while the form of interaction between SMEs is seen by their participation as providers of employment and their contribution to gross domestic product. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of product innovation, process innovation, and management innovation on performance. Measuring the effect of innovation on performance and which indicator variables have an effect on performance. This study used a quantitative approach by involving 262 SMEs as a sample. The multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the SPSS 21 program were used to answer the hypothesis. The results obtained are product innovation that has a significant positive effect on performance, process innovation has a positive and insignificant effect on performance and management innovation has a significant negative effect on performance. The magnitude of the influence of the variable product innovation, innovation process, and management innovation on performance is still in a low category of 5.6% and the innovation variable has a dominant effect on the performance of SMEs.

Abstract

Employee performance is something that needs to be considered in a company, because employee performance impacts in achieving goals. The problem raised in this study is whether dual role conflict (X1) affects the performance of employees (Y) at PT Bodyworks Harum Spa, whether work stress (X2) affects the performance of employees (Y) at PT Bodyworks Harum Spa, how much influence the dual role and work stress of the performance of the employees of PT Bodyworks Harum Spa and which independent variables have a dominant influence on the performance of employees at PT Bodyworks Harum Spa. The population in this study amounted to 109 people, this study uses the population as a sample. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, data quality test, classic assumption test, linear regression analysis, t-test analysis. The analysis shows the regression model Y = 48,663 - 617 (X1) - 538 (X2). The conclusion obtained is that multiple role conflict (X1) partially has a negative and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at PT Bodyworks Harum Spa as shown by the negative coefficient b1X1. Work stress partially has a negative and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at PT Bodyworks Harum Spa as indicated by the negative coefficient b2X2 regression coefficient. The magnitude of the influence of multiple roles and work stress on the performance of employees of PT Bodyworks Harum Spa by 40.8% and the remaining 59.2% is influenced by variables not examined in this study. The independent variable that has a dominant influence on employee performance can be seen in the value of Standardized Coefficients Beta is a dual role variable (X1) that is equal to - 369 while the work stress variable (X2) is - 341.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of employee morale in companies, especially in the field of tourism or hospitality. Employee morale is related to communication and the work environment, if communication is not effective, it will have an impact on the survival of the company, because the implementation of this communication cannot be separated from what has been felt by employees which in turn affects employee morale. The work environment has an important meaning, because without communication there will be no interaction between people in an organization, as well as the work environment. good. This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of communication and work environment on employee morale. This study uses a quantitative approach, which focuses on hypothesis testing using measured data so that it is hoped that a conclusion can be drawn. The sampling technique used is to use all members of the population as a sample so it is called census research. Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software version 23. The regression equation obtained is: Y = 2.280 + 0.430X1 + 0.457X2 + . The results of this study indicate that; firstly, communication has a positive and significant effect on employee morale, secondly the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee morale and thirdly, communication and work environment have an influence of 64.7% on employee morale. some suggestions that can be given in this research include; improve communication in order to avoid misunderstandings and increase the comfort of the environment where employees work.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the gap of previous research results (research gap) and differences in focus of discussion on delegative leadership, communication and work loyalty to employee work productivity. In addition, there is also a research problem regarding the high level of employee absenteeism at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar. This research was conducted at Sanglah General Hospital Denpasar population of 2,878 and a sample size of 144 employees. All data obtained from the distribution of the questionnaire is suitable for use, then analyzed using SPSS 25. The implication of this research is that delegative leadership can be improved by paying attention to indicators of decisions made jointly between leaders and subordinates. Communication can be improved by paying attention to indicators of superior discussions with subordinates. Work loyalty can be improved by paying attention to indicators of obeying the rules. Employee work productivity can be increased by paying attention to indicators of self-confidence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dalam pengumpulan data, jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 73 karyawan. Data yang diperoleh diuji terlebih dahulu dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji asumsi klasik. Setelah itu data dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda, uji t, dan uji F menggunakan SPSS versi 25.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa: (i) Variabel motivasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas Bali. (ii) Variabel disiplin kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas Bali. (iii) Variabel motivasi dan disiplin kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas Bali. (iv) Pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas Bali adalah sebesar 37,5% dan sisanya sebesar 62,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. (v) Dari kedua variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, variabel motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan dibandingkan variabel disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas Bali, terlihat dari nilai β1 > β2.. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of communication on the morale of the employees of the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban, to determine the effect of motivation on the morale of the employees of the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban, to determine the effect of communication and motivation on the morale of the employees of the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban, to determine the influence of communication and motivation on morale. Aston Inn Hotel Tuban employees work and know the independent variables that dominantly influence the work morale of the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban employees. In this study, the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban was used as the sample. The total number of employees is 80 people. The sampling technique in this study used the population method, namely the sampling method by taking all the number of employees so that the data is accurate for research purposes. The analysis technique used is regression analysis by testing the hypothesis using the F test and t test. The results showed that in the simultaneous analysis, it can be proven through the regression coefficients of Communication (b1) and Motivation (b2) on employee morale (Y) at the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban. If Communication (X1) and Motivation (X2) are increased by one point together, then employee morale (Y) will increase by 1.028 ( 0.440 + 0.588 ) points. This shows that Communication (X1) and Motivation (X2) have an effect on employee morale (Y) at the Aston Inn Hotel Tuban. This can be seen from the results of the simultaneous analysis which shows that Communication (X1) and Motivation (X2) have a positive effect on employee morale (Y). This was confirmed by using the F test to obtain Fcount = 26.826 > FTabel = 3.1154 with sig. F = 0.000 (p <0.05), so that a decision can be taken that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and accepts the alternative hypothesis (Ha), and has a significant effect. Abstract

The tourism industry is one of the economic supports of the Indonesian state, especially Bali. The tourism industry sector provides many opportunities to improve the economy of the Balinese people. In this regard, it is very important to manage and develop optimally in the tourism sector. Bali has its own charm both because of its culture, customs and natural wealth so that tourists make Bali as one of the tourist destinations. To provide comfort and security while tourists are on vacation in Bali, one of the hotels in the Kuta area, namely Hotel Imani provides the best facilities This research was conducted at Hotel Imani Kuta Bali with a sample of 48 employees. The sampling technique in this study was to use the census method or saturated sampling. Data collection with the distribution of questionnaires using a likert scale with a score of 1-5. The data analysis technique used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis technique with the Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0 test. The results of this study show that Communication (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at Hotel Imani Kuta Bali. Work Discipline (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at Hotel Imani Kuta Bali. The work environment has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at Hotel Imani Kuta Bali. The contribution of the large influence of communication, work discipline and work environment in influencing employee performance at Hotel Imani Kuta Bali by 56.7% and the remaining 43.3% was influenced by other variables that were not analyzed in this study. Meanwhile, the work discipline variable has the most dominant influence in influencing employee performance at Hotel Imani Kuta Bali. To find out other variables that affect employee performance, it is hoped that further research is expected to examine other variables that can affect employee performance.
