The spread of drugs in Indonesia, which is increasing every year, is increasing by the large population of Indonesia's population. Indonesia is one of the extraordinary markets for drug mafia to bring these illegal goods into the archipelago. The largest number of drug users in Indonesia from year to year are still dominated by students, in this case students and school children, especially high school and junior high school levels. In the medical world, drugs can be medicinal properties for healing. Drug use in the medical world is legal. So what becomes a policeman is when someone consumes drugs without the supervision of a health professional or doctor. If someone uses drugs without the supervision of a doctor, they think it will be very dangerous because drug users are because drugs are poisonous substances that can cause drug users to always depend or be addicted to these drugs, damage organs, affect a person's decline or make thoughts do not become irrational and damage the brain permanently. The result is even more terrible, which leads to death. The abuse of narcotics and illicit drugs among the younger generation is increasing. The proliferation of deviant behavior of the young generation can endanger the survival of this nation in the future. Because youth, as the generation expected to become the nation's successor, are increasingly vulnerable to being eaten away by nerve-destroying addictive substances. So that the young man could not think clearly. As a result, the generation of hope for a nation that is strong and intelligent will only be a memory. The target for the spread of these drugs is young people or teenagers.

Students and Students are a place for students' aspirations to express their creativity. OSIS is formed based on the decision of the principal of the school which has a management body. Students who are involved in the OSIS management body must pass several criteria and requirements, including having communication skills and having a leadership spirit. Communication has a strong influence in shaping a person's attitude and leadership style in an organization. Students must be given briefings on attitudes and leadership styles so that they can direct, control their members and be responsible so that all parts of the work are coordinated in order to achieve company or organizational goals. One of the requirements to become an OSIS administrator is sitting at Ananda High School in Batam City, where the psychological condition of students is still unstable to lead. So that there are some conflicts that arise such as misunderstanding between members, task structure factors and organizational structures, for example, the unequal desire between the treasurer and chairman, personal factors, namely individuals must make decisions concerning themselves and the organization, environmental factors such as the absence of support from the environment or certain parties, differences of opinion, incomplete gatherings, many administrators who leave, there is leisure between members, poor time management and declining performance.

Fenomena unik yang hadir dalam setiap kehidupan manusia tetapi belum tentu diakui oleh dunia social bermasyarakat. Hadir dalam kehidupan sosial adalah salah satu orientasi seksual yang sering didengar oleh istilah gay. Gay adalah istilah yang digunakan pada individu gay yang menyatakan diri terbuka dan dapat hadir dalam kehidupan social bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori, metodologi, dan tradisi dalam ilmu komunikasi yaitu fenomenologi, perspektif teoritis yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini dari Maurice Ponty, tentang tubuh dan perspektif, yang dalam penelitian ini penulis menghasilkan simbokronik komunikasi yang tercipta dari stereotype masyarakat.

Konseptualisasi dan abstraksi suatu teori cenderung memiliki pandangan yang berbeda satu sama lain, problematika dalam mengkonstruksi realitas menghadirkan pergeseran makna dari teori tersebut. Perspektif teori dalam merekonstruksi aspek-aspek konsep di dalamnya menuntun setiap kajian berdiri pada ranah yang saling bertentangan, hal ini menandakan aspek pemikiran dari setiap peneliti memiliki idealismenya tersendiri. Perspektif teori dan juga penempatan teori pada dasarnya memiliki intensionalitasnya yang terstruktur, bahkan teori-teori tersebut memiliki kajian tersendiri yang tidak lepas dari pemikrian deductive-interpretif. Tulisan ini mencerminkan landasan dalam kajian pustaka pemetaan teori dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kepustakaan yang berorientasi pada pemikiran-pemikiran konstruksional yang menempatkan setiap teori pada pandangan asumsi teori yang berdiri pada aspek-aspek paradigma positivis, interpretif dan juga kritis, yang dimodifikasikan dalam dimensi pembentukan teori berdasarakan ontologi, epistimologi dan aksiologi, yang menghasilkan perspektif tradisi dan kajian pada ilmu komunikasi dengan pemetaan teori-teori yang berdiri pada ranah komuniaksi.

Proses kehidupan manusia tidak dapat terpisahkan dengan interaksi antara individu yang satu dengan yang lain ataupun dengan kelompok. Pada kenyataannya, tidak semua interaksi antara individu ataupun antara kelompok dapat berjalan dengan baik, dan sering kali rentan terhadap konflik. Konflik yang terjadi dapat timbul dalam skala kecil, ataupun dalam skala besar, contoh dari konflik dalam skala besar ialah terjadinya peperangan. Dalam peperangan tentunya terjadi banyak pertumpahan darah, yang tentunya mencerminkan kurangnya rasa kemanusiaan dalam diri setiap individu yang terlibat dalam peperangan tersebut. Penelitian ini berangkat dari kisah nyata dalam film “Hacksaw Ridge” yaitu seorang tentara Amerika pada masa perang dunia ke 2, yang mempertahankan keyakinannya untuk mempraktekan nilai kemanusiaan meskipun ditengah peperangan, maka pada penelitian ini difokuskan pada representasi kemanusiaan dalam konflik anatarpersonal yang ditampilkan dalam film “Hacksaw Ridge”. Kajian ini merupakan kajian semiotika dengan menempakan semiotika sebagai teori, metode dan tradisi serta signifikansi tiga tahap Roland Barthes. Materi penelitian yang digunakan berdasarkan audio dan visual yang ditampilkan pada film tersebut. Penentuan bahan penelitiannya dengan memilih scenes pada film “Hacksaw Ridge”, yang didalamnya terdapat unsur-unsur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini, yaitu kemanusiaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan 3 aspek makna dari simbokronik yang ditampilkan pada konstruksi makna mengenai kemanusiaan yang direpresentasikan pada film “Hacksaw Ridge” yakni seorang tentara menolak untuk memegang dan membawa senjata ke medan perang, seorang tentara menolak untuk membunuh lawannya, dan yang terakhir seorang tentara melakukan pembangkangan terhadap komando dari atasannya. Ketiga hal tersebut menunjukan sisi kemanusiaan dari seorang tentara yang sedang maju di medan perang.

ABSTRACT Cyclical and bidirectional relationship(s) between technology and today’s romantic gratifications have reformed how people seek romance. On another end, gender performances largely underpin humans’ romantic gratification. This is where Tinder, as a dating application, affords unique opportunities for those seeking romances through portraying gender performances. A number of studies concluded that, in romance-seeking ventures, male’s masculinity and female’s femininity generally remained conformist to their respective biological attributes. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate nuances of gender performances portrayed in dating apps such as Tinder. Since Tinder profile picture, as a form of visual text, is a source rife with gender performance cues, this study focused on the visual component – profile pictures. Profile Picture Protocol (PPP), derived from notable social semiotics frameworks, was established. This study revealed that, albeit a major affinity towards more saturated bright colors in the observed data, color choices in profile pictures were not conclusive to determine gender performatives, mainly due to possible duality in meanings when other elements (body gestures and clothing choices) were taken into consideration. Formal clothing choices were only found in the male group, which was conformist to the previous studies. Foregrounding bodily features was evident in both male and female group’s profile pictures, which indicated that the male group also exuded an element of femininity, which leaned towards contestating the previous findings. Actors’ angles that were frontal as well as eye-level, indicated a need for social closeness and friendliness emulation, were fashionable in both gender groups, which was initially prevalent in the female group. Keywords; profile picture; visual text, social semiotics, gender performance, Tinder ABSTRAK Hubungan siklus dan dua arah antara teknologi dan gratifikasi romantisme dewasa ini telah mengubah cara orang mencari hubungan romansa. Di sisi lain, ekspresi gender umumnya mendukung gratifikasi romantis manusia. Di sinilah Tinder, sebagai aplikasi kencan, memberikan peluang unik bagi mereka yang mencari romansa melalui ekspresi gender. Sejumlah penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa, dalam usaha pencarian romansa, maskulinitas pria dan femininitas wanita umumnya tetap mengikuti atribut biologis masing-masing. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ekspresi gender yang digambarkan dalam aplikasi kencan seperti Tinder. Karena gambar profil Tinder, sebagai bentuk teks visual, adalah sumber penuh dengan isyarat ekspresi gender, penelitian ini berfokus pada komponen visual - gambar profil. Profile Picture Protocol (PPP), berasal dari kerangka kerja semiotika sosial terkemuka, dikonstruksikan. Studi ini mengungkap bahwa, meskipun memiliki ketertarikan umum terhadap warna-warna cerah yang lebih jenuh pada data yang diamati, pilihan warna dalam gambar profil tidak konklusif untuk menentukan ekspkresi gender, terutama karena kemungkinan dualitas dalam makna ketika elemen lain (gerakan tubuh dan pilihan pakaian) disertakan dalam pertimbangan. Pilihan pakaian formal hanya ditemukan pada kelompok pria, yang sesuai dengan penelitian sebelumnya. Gambaran tubuh terdepan terlihat dalam gambar profil kelompok laki-laki dan perempuan, yang menunjukkan bahwa kelompok laki-laki juga memancarkan unsur feminitas, yang condong ke arah mengontestasi temuan sebelumnya. Sudut para aktor yang frontal maupun setinggi mata, mengindikasikan keinginan atas kedekatan sosial dan emulasi keramahan, yang umum di kedua kelompok gender, yang awalnya lazim di kelompok perempuan. Keterbatasan penelitian disampaikan. Kata Kunci; teks visual, Semiotika Sosial, performa gender, aplikasi berkencan.

This research was conducted to find out the perception and Grab service to the drivers in Batam city. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were the Grab drivers in Batam city as many as five people by looking for characteristics that fit the research topic. The analytical technique used in this study was phenomenology which was based on the experience of informants in the field and drawing conclusions. The data collection technique in this study was conducted by interviewing Grab drivers in Batam city related to the topic of this research, observing in the Batam city area by making observations which showed that there were activities between the driver's office and operational service offices, as well as library studies conducted by researchers reading library books and used of previous research as reference material perception is obtained based on observation, understanding and experience of students through being online motorcycle taxi drivers. The results of the research found based on the perception of Grab drivers in Batam City towards Grab services is that the drivers are still experiencing difficulties. This research is considered able to help the continuity of driver activities while in the field.

The evolution of uncontrolled journalism become attention by reason of frequently not putting the objectivity as priority. (The accuracy credibility of news presentation). The purpose of this research is to understand the opinions of students who use online media on accuracy credibility of Dakta.com portal reviewed from their news presentation. This research uses ABC of Attitude theory by D.W. Rajecki (Affective, Behavioral, Cognitif). The components used are only on C component (Cognition). This research also uses Non probability sampling (sampling jenuh) and quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive method. Result of the research presents major percentage of students’ opinions tendency is in the expectation dimension. Students hope that Dakta.com can improve the accuracy credibility of their news presentation and update the content momentarily.
