Abstract

AbstractBasically, the purpose of a company is make a profit and enrich the owners of the company. This is manifested by development and achievement of good performance, both in financial and operational perspective. But in reality, not all of companies can achieve good performance. One of them is because exposure of risk. This could threaten achievement of the objectives and existence of the company. Therefore, companies need to have an idea related to possible condition and financial projection in future periods that are affected by risk. One of the possible method is Monte Carlo Simulation. Research will be conducted at PT. Phase Delta Control with historical data related to production/sales volume, cost of production and selling price. Historical data will be used as Monte Carlo Simulation with random numbers that describe probability of each risk variables describing reality. The main result is estimated profitability of PT. Phase Delta Control in given period. Profit estimation will be uncertain variable due to some uncertainty

Abstract

Background – Mental health is influenced by events in life that leave a great impact on personality and a person, while mental health is related to Work-life Balance and stress management. Employees who fail to achieve Work-life Balance will have high levels of stress both at work and outside of work, which can have negative consequences, especially Turnover intention. Aim – analyze the direct effect of Work-life Balance on the Turnover intention of higher education employees under BUMN in Gresik and the indirect effect of Work-life Balance through work stress. Design / methodology / approach – Quantitative research using path analysis, with a sample of 89 employees of private universities under BUMN in Gresik. Result and discussion – Work-life Balance has a significant value of 0.008 <0.05 and t-count -2.695 > t-table -1.987, so that Work-life Balance has a direct negative effect on employee Turnover intention. Job stress has a significant value of 0.530 > 0.05 and t-count 0.631 < t-table 1.987, so it has no direct effect on Turnover intention. Work-life Balance which has a significant value of 0.05 <0.05 and t-count -1.989> t-table 1.987, so it has a direct negative effect on employee work stress. Finally, Work-life Balance has a significant value of 0.53 > 0.05 and t-count -0.231 < t-table 1.987, so it does not have an indirect effect on Turnover intention through the work stress variable as an employee mediation variable. Conclusion - According to the findings from this study, the Turnover rate is influenced by work life balance directly or by mediating work stress. Research implication – Universities need to improve or be able to better balance the personal lives of employees with their personal lives, because it is found that the employee Turnover rate will decrease if employees have a good and balanced Work-life Balance. Limitations – Research related to mental through work life balance, work stress in influencing Turnover intention is limited to employees of private universities under BUMN in Gresik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of employer branding and career development on employee retention applied at Al-Ibrah School in Gresik. The sampling was done using the proportionate stratified random sampling method. The sample for this study consisted of 65 respondents who were teachers at Al Ibrah School from kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high school levels. The analysis technique used in this research was multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The analysis results showed that (1) employer branding has a positive effect on employee retention, (2) career development has a positive effect on employee retention, and (3) employer branding and career development have a positive effect on employee retention. This indicates that the employer branding and career development implemented by Al Ibrah School in Gresik are important in retaining teachers who teach at the school.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors influencing the decision-making process of older individuals when it comes to using electronic banking services. While technology plays a crucial role in today's society, it may not be enough to reach vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly. The study will utilize the STATA 14.2 program for SEM analysis, employing quantitative analysis to explore decisions related to digital banking applications within a sample of 300 individuals aged over 50 in Surabaya. During the Covid-19 pandemic, digital technology served as an operational tool to mitigate the spread of the virus. However, it is essential to recognize that technology is a long-term investment, even after the pandemic. Elderly users need to be mindful of sudden technological changes and improve their digital literacy. This study underscores the importance of understanding the banking sector when assessing how specific groups, such as the elderly, utilize digital technologies. Moreover, for business continuity, gaining insights into how the elderly utilize banking apps is crucial. It is imperative to implement the necessary support systems and digital infrastructure promptly and effectively to meet the current and future demands
