Abstract

Benzene is a compound chemically volatile and lasts a long time in the air and quicklyinhaled into the human body. The use of benzene is widely used in various industries, one ofwhich is the printing industry. Benzene produced right in the printing industry are ink, cleaning fluid,and when the machine in operation. Workers exposed to benzene can risk cancer and non-cancer healtheffects that are harmful to the human body. This study aimed to assess cancer and non-cancer risk ofworkers in the printing industry X Surabaya City. This research is observational, cross-sectional withthe same sample with a total population of 11 workers in the printing industry X Surabaya City. Therisk assessment method uses four stages: hazard identification, exposure analysis, dose and responseanalysis, and risk characterization. This research shows that the average concentration of benzene is1.0729 mg/m3 or 0.34 ppm. RQ value > 1 both real-time and lifetime. As many as 63.6% of workershave real-time ECR >10 -4, and 81.8% of workers have ECR lifetime >10-4. This study concludes thatworkers are in an unsafe condition and have non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic health risks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuai peningkatan kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Gondosuli 1 Kecamatan Muntilan melalui model pembelajaran Make a Match berbantuan media game bistik (bilangan stik). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas atau PTK. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Gondosuli 1 yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Objek penelitiannya adalah kemampuan berhitung operasi perkalian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media game bistik (bilangan stik). Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media game bistik (bilangan stik) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung perkalian pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Gondosuli 1 mengalami peningkatan dalam berbagai aspek, seperti nilai tertinggi yang tetap stabil pada setiap tahap, nilai terendah yang meningkat dari 40 menjadi sekitar 53 hingga akhirnya mencapai 60, nilai rata-rata yang mengalami peningkatan dari 69 menjadi 73 dan kemudian 80. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan presentase pencapaian KKM dari 11% menjadi 44% dan akhirnya mencapai 77%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low reading skills in class V of SD Negeri 13 Pesing, Sekayam District, Sanggau Regency. The formulation of the problem is “What the use of audio-visual media improved students' reading skills at SDN 13 Pesing?”. The purpose of this research is to improve reading skills by using audio-visual media. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The location is in class V SD Negeri 13 Pesing. The subjects were 36 students of class V. Data collection techniques used test techniques and non-test techniques. The research instrument is a test and non-test. The results of the research on reading skills using audio-visual media have increased. Cycle I is students' reading skills completed 27 students (75%) and 9 students (25%) did not complete. As for the results of observations of student activity with a rating of 27 students (75%) in Good (B) category, 6 students (16.67%) in Enough (C) category, and 3 students (13.63%), in Poor (D) category. In cycle II, 32 students (88.87%) completed their reading skills and 4 students (11.11%) did not complete them. Student activity with a rating of Very Good (A) 32 students (88.87%), Good (B) 2 students (2.78%) and 2 students (2.78%) Fair (C).
