Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem E-Learning Bahasa Inggris menggunakan Aplikasi PWA (Progressive Web Application). Aplikasi ini sendiri tidak perlu diunduh terlebih dahulu melalui Play Store melainkan menggunakan situs Pusat Bahasa ITI. Uji coba diadakan dalam bentuk pembelajaran E-Learning yang dikhususkan  kepada English Grammar menggunakan Digital Book sebagai buku pegangan. Partisipan dari kelas English Grammar ini adalah mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Indonesia tingkat dua. Aplikasi PWA menjadi media pembelajaran E-Learning, dimana seluruh partisipan dapat menggunakan ponsel pintarnya untuk belajar, test, dan mengisi kuesioner pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa aplikasi PWA ini terbukti efektif menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran jarak jauh dan lebih mudah diakses daripada aplikasi lain yang diunduh melalui Play Store. Namun untuk evaluasi pembelajaran dari kelas English Grammar masih harus dikembangkan lebih jauh agar dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dosen dan mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: PWA, ecOURSE, English Grammar, EvaluasiAbstract: The study aims to develop E-learning system of English subject using PWA application (Progressive Web Application). This application does not need to be firstly downloaded via Play Store. Instead it can be stamped from ITI’s English Language Center site. The experiment was conducted in the form of E-learning class focusing on the English Grammar using digital book as the learning textbook. The participants of the E-Learning  were sophomore students of Institut Teknologi Indonesia. The PWA app became the Learning media of the class where all participants could used their smart phones to study, to take the test, and to fill out the questionnaire of the learning. The result of the study is that the PWA app was proved to be effective as one of the online learning media and it could be more easily accessed than other play store apps. However, for learning evaluation from the English Grammar class, it needed to be more developed and prepared so that it would be suitable for every lectures’ and students’ needs.Keywords: Kata Kunci: PWA, ecOURSE, English Grammar, Evaluation

Abstract

Sunlight visible color of white light is composed of light color% mixture of light colors red (R), % lightcolor green (G) and % color blue light (B) is called a basic light color mixture (R+G+ B). Sunlight shining on the surface of the solar cell PV cells convert solar cell produces a voltage at the output referred voltage Voc. In this research, the irradiation treatment surface of each of three samples of the same type solar cells with light colors red, green and blue alternately. Samples used solar cells have the characteristics of the open circuit voltage Voc parameters = 6 volts dc reference voltage Voc expressed as (ref). Each of the three R-G-B light color lamp is connected to a variable dc voltage source in volts. Electrical power R-G-B lights shining on the solar cell is set as large, on PL(R) = PL(G) = PL(B) = 2.27 watts. Radiation treatment each R-G-B light onto the surface of the three samples of solar cells with a distance = 7 cm, the measurement results obtained voltage Voc(R) [average] = 2.91 volts, Voc(G) [average] = 2 , 40 volts, and Voc(B) [average] = 3.02 volts at the output of the solar cell. The effectiveness of PV cells (photovoltaic) is obtained from the comparison of Voc(R) [average-2], Voc(G) [average] and Voc(B) [average] against a reference voltage Voc = 6 volts. Solar cell conversion results obtained irradiating light of each color of R-G-B generate % red light (R) = 34.94 %, % green light (G) = 28.8 % and the % of blue light (B) = 36.2 %. The effectiveness of PV cells to convert solar cell material believed color red, green and blue is expressed by the parameter PV(R), PV(G) and PV(B). Thus obtained PV(R) = 34.9 %, and PV(G) = 28.8 % and further PV(B) = 36.2 %.

Abstract

Terowongan angin merupakan fasilitas yang digunakan untuk menguji karakteristik suatu disain teknis seperti turbin angin yang akan dilalui oleh suatu udara bergerak (angin). Turbin angin tersebut akan memutar generator dan menyuplai listrik pada sistem kelistrikan yang ada. Terowongan angin yang layak cenderung memiliki output angin yang tingkat laminar dan homogennya cukup baik. Terowongan angin di Laboratorium Renewable Energy Program Studi Teknik Elektro ITI merupakan tipe blow/tiup yang memang memudahkan dalam disain strukturnya. Metode pengujian laminar dari angin yang dihasilkan menggunakan sumber asap yang cukup besar dan melihat aliran asap tersebut apakah berupa garis lurus atau cenderung memutar pada 9 kuadran di ruang test output dari terowongan angin tersebut. Sedangkan pengujian homogen dengan mengukur kecepatan angin dengan anemometer pada setiap kuadaran tersebut dan melihat kedekatan hasil pengukuran dari semua kuadaran. Pengujian kali ini kelanjutan dari sebelumnya dengan penambahan fasilitas honeycomb yang berfungsi untuk menghasilkan angin yang lebih laminar. Dari pengujian didapatkan 88,9% (8 kuadran) menunjukkan angin laminar dan hanya 11,1% (1 kuadran) yang masih terlihat turbulensi), ini merupakan peningkatan yang significant dari pengujian sebelumnya dan merupakan pengaruh dari pemasangan honeycomb tersebut. Sedangkan tingkat homogen menunjukkan fluktuasi angin hanya 8,74%. Hal ini menunjukkan terowongan angin tersebut layak digunakan penelitian lebih lanjut

Abstract

To introduce young people at school at early stage to engineering profession, an activity such as giving a lecture and some demo to them becomes important. This activity will hopefully create better understanding on engineering world especially in the field of electrical engineering by introducing an increasingly popular technology called IoT (Internet of Things). The target school is SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Tangerang Selatan. Because of COVID-19 pandemic situation and PSBB rules implemented in Tangerang Selatan in which school students had to study from home, then the lecture was given online by Zoom application on Tuesday, August 18th at 13.30 – 15.00 WIB. The partcipants attending the online lecture reached 26 consisting of grade III students of Computer Network program and some teachers as well. The results of the questionnaires given shortly before the webinar ends show that for Introduction of Engineering Profession, the majority of them (61,54%) states Interesting Enough, for Introduction of IoT the majority (57,69%) says Interesting and for IoT Demo the majority (53,85%) thinks Interesting Enough. The benefit of this webinar is clear when the majority of participants (57,69%) agrees Beneficial to them and all of them (100%) say Agree that this activity is also introduced to other students at school

Abstract

ChatGPT OpenAI merupakan teknologi mesin berbasis kecerdasan buatan yang dilatih untuk bisa menirukan percakapan manusia menggunakan teknologi NLP (Natural Language Processing). Pada kenyataannya ChatGPT dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan suatu tulisan yang cukup ilmiah atau bahkan buku dengan prompt yang dirumuskan di awal dengan teknik yang baik dan efektif. Sehingga peluang inovasi menggunakan teknologi ini terbuka lebar untuk pendidikan di Indonesia, salah satunya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis peserta didik di sekolah/kampus untuk meraih enam kompetensi yang dibutuhkan di Era Education 4.0. Enam kompetensi itu adalah berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, komunikasi, kreativitas, pendidikan karakter dan kewarganegaraan. Hasil eksperimen yang dilakukan menggunakan ChatGPT dapat menghasilkan suatu tulisan berjumlah 693 kata di mana hasil ini masih bisa dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk penugasan berikutnya bagi peserta didik. Total waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan eksperimen ini lebih kurang 7 menit, termasuk waktu untuk mendokumentasikan hasil pemrosesan ChatGPT, namun tidak termasuk waktu untuk merumuskan dua prompt yang baik dan efektif sebelum eksperimen dilakukan.

Abstract

This IoT-based smart classroom prototype was built using the NodeMCU microcontroller ESP8266. The automation system works by checking if there are users connected to the access point in the classroom and the course scheduled to use it. The attendance check is done by fetching MAC address from a user's device automatically. Next, it will activate relay to turn on electrical facilities in the used classroom, such as lamps, fans, or air conditioners. The system also uses the website using MySQL database to monitor classroom conditions, edit class schedules, register user devices to the system and access attendance data. From the tests carried out, the system can run according to design. Among other things, the relay circuit can be arranged according to the schedule of activities and the whereabouts of the user. Attendance data can be displayed according to users who are connected and registered in the system. The calculations on total delay of system yield results that the delay to activate the classroom is 10.66 ± 0.87 seconds on the website and 14.55 ± 0.78 seconds on the relay. On the other hand, the delay needed to deactivate the classroom is 39.34 ± 3.69 seconds on the website and 36.26 ± 3.70 seconds on the relay.

Abstract

The reliability of the electric power distribution system refers to its ability to provide sufficient electricity supply to consumers with satisfactory quality. There are several methods used to calculate the level of reliability of a distribution system, such as the Section Technique method and the Reliability Index Assessment (RIA) method, by considering reliability index values such as the System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI), System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI), and Customer Average Interruption Duration Index (CAIDI). This study analyzed the reliability of the 20kV distribution system in the Prajurit feeder at the Balaraja main substation. Based on the analysis using the Section Technique method, the reliability index values for the Prajurit feeder were obtained at 2.1876 for SAIFI, 20.9624 for SAIDI, and 9.5823 for CAIDI. The analysis using the RIA method showed reliability index values of 2.2025 for SAIFI, 21.3445 for SAIDI, and 9.6910 for CAIDI. The reliability of the distribution system was also tested using computer simulation, and the reliability index values were found to be 1.5697 for SAIFI, 18.6939 for SAIDI, and 11.9092 for CAIDI. Therefore, based on the analysis, simulation, and reliability index standards stated in SPLN 68-2: 1986, the electric power distribution network in the Prajurit feeder can be categorized as a reliable network.

Abstract

Clean water has good quality water hardness and has been consumed for human mineral needs, containing the chemical elements of the mineral metals Sodium (Na), calcium (Ca), Chloride (Cl), nitrate (Na), magnesium (Mg), and Sulfate (Su) in units of milli-grams (mg) dissolved in a sample of Le Mineral rand drinking water in a 330 ml serving plastic bottle. In scientific outreach service activities for class XII students in the science field at SMA Pelita Bangsa Pamulang, a water electrolysis device was carried out with the aim of knowing the description of the precipitate of metal mineral chemical elements or chemical pollutant elements dissolved in groundwater samples. The methodology for community service counseling is carried out by using a water electrolysis device on groundwater samples to determine the description of the precipitate of metal mineral chemical elements or chemical pollutant elements dissolved in groundwater samples. The process of water electrolysis was carried out on groundwater samples in a glass container of water absorbing electrical energy with a capacity of 94.0 volts ac and an electric current of 0.287 amperes for a processing time of two (2) minutes. As a result of the electrolysis process of the groundwater samples, brown, orange and blackish precipitate occurred which indicated that there was a measure of the chemical element content of the dissolved metal minerals in the groundwater sample.
