Abstract

Asbuton is a natural asphalt found in Buton Island, South-East Sulawesi with preservation approximately 210 million tonnes particularly found in Lawele area. Warm Mixing Asbuton usually uses temperature of 120°C - 125°C in Special Specification Warm Mixing of Asbuton. In mixing, temperature is one of the most important factors in the construction of road work and it also influences the characteristics of the mixture that are the durability and rut resistance. This study aims to understand the influence of temperature variation of Asbuton warm mixing against ACWC mixing durability and the best durability of some mixing temperature variations. The temperature variation used in mixing and compaction are 105ºC and 95ºC, 115ºC and 105ºC, 125ºC and 115ºC. This study were using Asbuton Butir T 15/25 Ex. Bina Prima Indonesia (BPI), with fluxing materials, which is mixtures from asphalt penetration 60.70 and solar Ex.Pertamina with materials taken from Stone Crusher Ex.Taipa River. The research were  utilyzes Marshall Test to obtain  the characteristic of mixing, referring to SNI and Bina Marga. The result showed that durability is highly influenced by temperature variation of mixing and compacting. Mixing temperature of 105°C and compaction of 95°C are not recommended because the mixing durability does not meet  the specification. On the other hand the highest temperature is resulting in mixing durability that still meet the good specifications.

Abstract

The purpose of this Research is to know sand quality and exploiting go out to sea as smooth aggregate for a concrete mixture asphalt. Where to determine made by optimum asphalt content 5 object test with asphalt rate variation, that are 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5% and 7%. After obtaining optimum asphalt content value that is 6,4% hereinafter will be made by object test by using optimum asphalt rate. Sand condition to be used by is the condition of sea sand influenced by up and down of water sea, condition of sea sand which do not influenced by up and down of water sea, Sand condition influenced by up and down of water sea which have washed out. For three conditions of the sand tested by Marshall (measuring tool) with time variation of submersion that is 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 5 hours and 24 hours. The obtained data is the condition of sea sand that influenced by up and down of sea, do not fulfill the specification of discharge, where sand discharge go out to sea above 4,5 mm.

Abstract

Nilai Ekuivalensi Mobil Penumpang (EMP) diharapkan sangat tepat karena sangat penting dalam menentukan kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan hingga penanganan simpang tak bersinyal. Banyak metode yang telah digunakan dalam estimasi nilai EMP, namun berdasarkan literatur review menyatakan bahwa metode occupancy time dan metode kecepatan yang paling sesuai dengan kondisi simpang tak bersinyal.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai EMP yang paling tepat dengan membandingkan metode occuoancy time dan metode speed. Untuk menentukan metode yang paling tepat dalam perhitungan EMP simpang tak bersinyal maka dilakukan perhitungan nilai kapasitas dan derajat kejenuhan berdasarkan metode speed dan occupancy time dan dibandingkan dgn nilai EMP MKJI. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai EMP yang paling sesuai bagi simpang tak bersinyal adalah metode speed. Perubahan nilai EMP yang dianjurkan adalah EMP kendaraan tak bermotor= 0,45, EMP sepeda motor= 0,17, dan EMP kendaraan besar= 2,2. Penentuan nilai EMP yang  tepat diharapkan dapat memberikan hasil kinerja simpang dan penentuan masalah simpang yang akurat.

Abstract

The Sigi Regency Government relocated office areas and built several new offices in the Bora District. This activity was carried out as a result of the natural disaster that occurred in Sigi Regency in 2018. This study aims to determine the impact of office development activities in Bora on traffic performance in the vicinity. The method used is the procedure in the Highway Capacity Manual Indonesian (MKJI) 1997 for roundabouts and unsignalized intersections, and it calculates the effects of drag and generation. The study results show that the traffic performance at the Bora roundabout and the existing conditions on all arms are included in the level of service category A. Likewise, at intersection 2, the existing conditions for all arms are included in the level of service category A. Generation and attraction impacts due to the opening of the office area for five years. The traffic performance at the Bora roundabout will be included in the level of service category A. Likewise, the traffic performance at intersection two is included in the level of service category A. ABSTRAK Pemerintah Kabupaten Sigi merelokasi daerah perkantoran dan membangun beberapa kantor baru di Kecamatan Bora. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai dampak bencana alam yang terjadi di Kabupaten Sigi di tahun 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak kegiatan pengembangan perkantoran di Bora terhadap kinerja lalu lintas di sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah prosedur pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 untuk bundaran dan simpang tak bersinyal serta menghitung dampak tarikan dan bangkitan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kinerja lalu lintas di bundaran Bora kondisi eksisting pada semua lengan termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A. Demikian halnya pada persimpangan 2, kondisi eksisting untuk semua lengan termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A. Dampak bangkitan dan tarikan akibat terbukanya kawasan perkantoran 5 tahun mendatang, kinerja lalu lintas di bundaran Bora termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A. Demikian pula kinerja lalu lintas simpang 2, termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A.
