Abstract

Tembakau Asepan merupakan salah satu produk unggulan Kabupaten Klaten yang potensi sebagai sumber pendapatan asli daerah dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Namun produksi tembakau saat ini cenderung menurun, karena kualitas tembakau yang dihasilkan petani tidak sesuai dengan standar mutu. Oleh karena itu tujuan pendampingan mitra ini adalah memberikan. Metode pelaksanaan pengembangan mitra kelompok tani perkebunan tembakau asepan “Tani Mandiri” desa Wonosari, Trucuk, Kabupaten melalui kolaborasi Tim perguruan tinggi, mitra, mahasiswa dan dukungan pembiayaan dari Direktorat Riset dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Direktorat Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi / Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi difusi ipteks di bidang teknologi budidaya tembakau, manajemen mitra dan strategi pemasaran hasil produksi. Hasil kegiatan yang sudah terlaksana antara lain; 1)mengadakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang bertujuan agar mitra dapat menghasilkan produksi yang memenuhi standar mutu meliputi pola tanam dari pembibitan, budidaya, pemupukan, pestisida dan pasca panen. 2) Pengadaan peralatan mesin cultivator untuk mengolah tanah yang mampu membuat efisiensi biaya operasional usaha sebesar 37,5%, 3) perbaikan manajemen mitra terkait pembukuan keuangan dan sarana inventory box yang baik, 4) memfasilitasi link kerjasama mitra dalam pemasaran hasil produksinya dengan perusahaan importir tembakau

Abstract

During the Covid 19 pandemic, a handsanitizer product has emerged which functions as a hand washing disinfectant for the prevention of the Covid 19 virus. One of the ingredients that can be made handsanitizer gel is the mulberry plant (Morus alba L.) because it contains many flavonoids which act as antiseptics against bacteria. The research objective was to determine the handsanitizer gel formulation with the concentration of carbopol and propylenglycol which can produce good physical properties. The research design used an experiment, with the mulberry leaf preparation material macerated using 70% ethanol. Mulberry leaf ethanol extract (Morus alba L.) as the active substance and made 3 formulas with variations in the concentration of carbopol: propylenglycol formula I (0.5%: 15%), formula II (1.25%: 12.5%), formula III (2%: 10%). The three formulas were tested for physical properties and analyzed by ANOVA with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that the handsanitizer gel formulation with carbopol increased viscosity and stickiness, while propylenglycol increased the dispersibility. The 1.25% formula: 12.5% ??produces the best physical properties, with a pH test of 6, a viscosity test of 150 dPas, a spreadability test of 6.5 cm, a sticky power test of 2.39 seconds and a protective power test without red stains.

Abstract

Abstract: Averrhoa bilimbi L. was used as an anti-acne drug. The content offlavonoid compounds in fruit have antibacterial activity. There were several waysfor utilization of Averrhoa bilimbi L. among others, made some preparations,especially gel formulation. Gel formulations made with HPMC base and add fruitextract 15%, 20%, and 25%. Fruit extract obtained from meserasi fruit Averrhoabilimbi L with 70% ethanol. The gel that has been made is then carried outquality control test such as organoleptic test, pH test, sticky test, spreading test,protection test and physical stability test by stressed condition. Organoleptic testresult, pH test, protection power test, and stability test analyzed descriptively. Theresults of sticky test and scatter power were analyzed with ANOVA with 95%confidence level. The result of this research showed that in the test of spreadingof formula II has good with mean of spreading value was 6,6 before stability testand 6.49 after stability test. In the protection test does not appear red stain. itmean the gel was able to provide protection of the skin.
