Abstract

COVID-19 patients who have been declared cured may experience residual symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath, impaired mobility, problems in activities of daily living, and insomnia. Unresolved sequelae can lead to long-term disability, so physical rehabilitation is important to improve the functional capacity. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge about physical rehabilitation after COVID-19. The activity was carried out by providing blended education to 13 offline and 125 online participants. The material was divided into 4 sub-topics, physical exercise, nutrition to increase immunity, herbs and supplements to increase immunity, and prevention of COVID-19 reinfection. Education was carried out using lecture, discuss, and demonstrations. Various media such as powerpoint, video, banner, brochure, and leaflet are also used. Pre-test and post-test were conducted using a questionnaire as a form of evaluation. The results obtained, of the 78 participants who filled out the questionnaire, 49% of them had less knowledge during pre-test and turned into 100% good knowledge at the post-test. After the education, participants also able to practice physical exercises, use masks properly, and wash their hands according to the material provided. Based on these results, it can be concluded that education is effective in increasing public knowledge.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a cancer that takes many lives of women. The Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2015 reported that there were 200,000 deaths due to cervical cancer, 46,000 of them were eligible women. Delaying in early detection is the cause of death for cervical cancer patients. This is happened due to a lack of motivation to carry out VIA medical examinations such as intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between motivation and the behavior of the Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (VIA) medical examinations in eligible women in the Kotakaler Health Center, North Sumedang. This research is a correlative research with case control design. The population in this study were 1198 eligible women who were married. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling which obtained 46 case groups and 46 control groups. The instrument used was questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is the Chi-Square test with α <0.05.The results of statistical tests obtained the value p = 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This that there is relationship between motivation and the behavior of the Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (VIA) medical examinations in eligible women in the Kotakaler Health Center, North Sumedang. Community nurses Provide health education to increase their motivation in early detection of cervical cancer using the VIA method.

Abstract

Maternal anxiety facing sectio caesarea that is not treated properly can cause physical and psychological changes that can eventually increase the work of sympathetic nerves and there will be an increase in heart rate, breath frequency, blood pressure, and in general reduce energy levels in patients to the detriment of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of endorphine massage against sectio caesarea preoperative anxiety in primigravida mothers in the Central Surgery Room of Bandung City Hospital. The research design is a Quasi-Experiment using experimental groups and control groups. The population is 193 people. The samples used for each group were 18 people with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale questionnaire. Data analysis used bivariate analysis in the form of the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. The results of the study found that anxiety before the endorphine massage intervention was mostly moderate 14 people (77.8%) and after the intervention more than half were mild 12 people (66.7%). Before the deep breath relaxation intervention was mostly moderate 16 people (88.9%) and after the intervention more than half were moderate 13 people (72.2%). There is an effect of endorphine massage on anxiety (p-value 0.000 < 0.05). There is an effect of deep breath relaxation on anxiety (p-value 0.004 < 0.05). There is a difference in anxiety between the intervention of endorphine massage with deep breath relaxation and endorphine massage is more effective than deep breath relaxation (p-value 0.003 < 0.05). Endoprhine massage intervention can overcome anxiety problems because it can stimulate endorphine hormones which can provide a comfort effect. The conclusion was found that endorphine massage can reduce anxiety. Advice for hospitals can make endoprhine massage a standard operating procedure in dealing with anxiety problems of preoperative patients.

Abstract

The effectiveness of student learning can be determined by learning outcomes. Good learning outcomes are not easily attained, ther are numerous obstacles and challenges to overcomes. Not all pupils are capapble of overcoming obstacle and challenges in order to achieves positive learning outcomes. The intelegence required to overcome learning obstacle is adversity quotient. This study aims to determine the relationship between Adversity Quotient and Learning Outcomes of Nursing Student. This Research uses quantitative research, with a descriptive correlation approach (Cross sectional). Population in this study is 494 nursing students, and sample 221 students with stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using the Adversity Response Profile questionnaire. Data analysis used frequency distribution and Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that 98% of the Adversity Quotient of Nursing Students were in the moderate AQ category (Camper). Nursing student learning outcomes 21% are in the very bright category. Correlation test obtained p value 0.009 (<0.05), there is a relationship between Adversity Quotient with nursing student learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.176 which has a very weak relationship level with a positive direction. Based on the results of the study.

Abstract

Achievement of student learning outcomes often encounter various obstacles to reach their achievements. Obstructions to accomplishment that are regularly confronted by understudies are need of certainty, passiveness to inquire questions, destitute time administration, delaying on tasks/work, diminished inspiration to memorize, the impact of awful companions, follow-up variables, and family/personal issues . Academic intelligence isn’t enough to provide readiness for students when facing academic failure. Therefore, Adversity Quotient (AQ) intelligence is needed to achieve successful learning. This study aims to determine the Adversity Quotient of Nursing Students. This type of research uses quantitative research, with a population of 494 nursing students, a sample of 221 students with stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using the Adversity Response Profile questionnaire. Data analysis using frequency distribution. The results showed that 98% of the Adversity Quotient of Nursing Students were in the moderate AQ category (Camper). Based on the results of the research, it is advisable for the academic supervisor to provide intervention to students in the form of academic guidance or counseling to explore the potential of nursing students and optimize it.
