Abstract

Kata Kunci: kegel exercise, metode birth ball, robekan jalan lahir AbstractPerineum tearing after delivery can increase the risk of postpartum infection and increase maternal morbidity. Efforts that can be made are with kegel exercises and the birthball method, but there is not much research evidence discussing them. This study aims to determine the effect of Kegel exercise and birth ball techniques on Perineum tearing in women giving birth at PMB Muara Enim Health Center Area. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a control group. The subjects in the study were normal delivery mothers with an active phase in the PMB of the Muara Enim Health Center who met the inclusion criteria and were willing to become respondents by signing the consent form after being given the informed consent. The sample in this study were 90 people divided into three groups, namely 30 people in the kegel exercise group, 30 people in the birthball group and 30 people in the control group. This study used the Kruskallwallis test followed by the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the control group had a second-degree perineal tear (50.0%), the Kegel exercise group did not experience a tear (80%), the birth ball exercise group did not experience a tear (80%). There is an effect of kegel exercise and birth ball technique on birth canal tears in women giving birth (p value = 0.000). There was a significant difference between the control group and the Kegel Exercise and birth ball groups (p value = 0.000). There was no difference between the kegel exercise group and the birthball group in the tearing of the birth canal in women giving birth, p value = 0.949. Both kegel exercise and birth ball methods can be used as interventions to prevent perineal tears. Keywords: kegel exercise, birth ball method, perineum tear

Purpose: Known the influence of shared decision-making model on decision making of long- term contraception method at the BPM and RB in Palembang City in 2020. Methods: The study uses a pre experimental design with a static group comparison design. The samples were took by accidental sampling technique, which 80 respondents were divided into 40 respondent in the control group and 40 other respondents in the experiment group. Results: Based on univariat results in the control group it was found that the majority of mothers (72,5%) chose to continue using current contraception and in experiment group there were 12 mothers (30%) who chose and had used long-term contraception. The results of statistic analysis using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 5% obtained the results of Pearson Chi-Square p = 0,002 which means the shared decision-making model has influence on decision making of long-term contraception method at the BPM and RB in Palembang City. Conclusion: There is a significant the influence of shared decision-making model on decision making of long-term contraception method at the BPM and RB in Palembang City in 2020
