This study aims to analyze people's attitudes towards the urban farming program, identifying factors that shape people's attitudes towards urban farming programs, analyzing the relationship between attitude-forming factors and people's attitudes towards urban farming programs. This study uses quantitativemethods with descriptive analysis and survey techniques. The location of the study was carriedout in Jebres Subdistrict.The study sample was 70 people taken by proportional random sampling.The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary. The data analysis that used is Rank Kendall. The results showed that:(1) the factors forming the attitude are characteristics of individuals (age majority at age 15-64 years/ the productive age category, majority high school education), personal experience in the medium category, family influence in the high category, reference group in the sufficient category, exposure to mass media in the medium category, and culture in the high category.(2) People's attitude towards the program objectives in the agreed category, the implementation of the program in the neutral category and the program results in the agreed category. (3) There is a significant relationship between personal experience, reference groups, exposure to mass media and culture to urban farming programs. While individual characteristics and family influences have no significant relationship with people's attitudes toward urban farming programs.

This research was conducted in Sragen Regency in which performance field extension workers very determining efficacy Sragen Regency as biggest organic sentra rice in the year 2010. So this research aimed at observing performance offield extensions workers spacious in rice organic program. In this research performance field extensions workers in organic rice program in Sragen Regency seeing from indicator such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty and tangible:Proportion analysis test showed all value from indicator used give the result to accepted hypothesis zero (HO) and refused alternative hyphotesis (HI). It's mean research hypotesis inferential unprovable, so performance field extensions workers in organic rice program it 's bad/low.

The Agricultual Extension, Fisheries and Forestry Center facilitation aims to support accelerated national strategic food production.One of intensification national food production intended to intensifiction rice production. The effort intensifiction rice production directed to applying jajar legowo plantation techniques. This study aims to examine the components of extension techniques effectiveness applying jajar legowo plantation by agricultural extension center in Teras District. This research used basic method is descriptive qualitative. Location determination of this research is purposive. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique.The results of this research show that (1) The implementation of extension techniques in Teras district from the context aspect is good and adequate; (2) The implementation of extension techniques seen from the input aspect is good and adequate; (3)The implementation of extension techniques in seen from the process aspect is good; (4) The implementation of extension techniques from the product aspect is good and successful; (5) The effectiveness of extension techniques is good, it was proved by the increase of province and productivity

This study examines internal and external factors of youth farmers community perception, examines the perception of youth community towards conservation of water resources, and to analyse the influence between the internal and external factors of the youth farmers community and the perception of the youth farmers community towards the conservation of water resources. The research location was chosen purposely in Pasir Buncir Village, Caringin Sub-district, Bogor Regency which is a village located in the Upper Cisadane River Basin of Penggerak Cisadane Hulu dan Lingkungan Hidup (PACING community center). Census sampling is34 members of PACING community. This research use multiple linear regression as an anlysis tools. The results showed that: (1) factors affecting perceptions such as non formal education are high, revenue is very low, experience is high, government agencies that play a role in socialization and assistance are Badan Pengelola DAS (BPDAS) and Dinas Kehutanan, four government agencies play a role in supervision , opinion leader is considered influential but passive, the existence of privatization is quite bad, and organizational culture is very good in mission implementation, consistency and member involvement, while adaptability is just good (2) perception of member of PACING community toward conservation effort is good, (3) factors that can influence perception of youth community significantly only non formal education factor, experience and organization culture, while other factors such as revenue, government role, opinion leader, impact of privatization, has no significant effect.

This study aims to examine the role of extension workers in Kecamatan Kebakkramat. furthermore, this research is to examine the level of adoption of technological innovation of rice transplanter and to analyze the relationship between farmers perceptions on the role of Agricultural Field Extension (PPL) with the level of adoption of rice transplanter innovation in Kecamatan Kebakkramat. The basic method of this research is quantitative descriptive method with survey technique. The location of this research is determined by purposive that is in District Kebakkramat Karanganyar Regency. Sampling was done by quota sampling with 60 respondents spread in three villages, Waru Village, Pulosari Village, and Nangsri Village, this is done because in these three villages have applied rice transplanter. The data analysis of this research using wide interval formula and rank spearman correlation analysis method (rs). The results shows that the perception of farmers on the role of extension workers as Educator (X1), Motivator (X2), Disseminator (X3), Supervisor (X4), and Facilitator (X5) in medium category or can be good. There is a significant correlation between the role of extension agent as Motivator (X2) with the adoption rate of rice transplanter innovation is at 95% confidence level and the most significant correlation between extension agent role as Disseminator is at 99% (X3) level of trust. As for the role of Education (X1), Supervisor (X4), and Facilitator (X5) have no significant relationship with the adoption rate of rice transplanter innovation.

To previous research entitling "Penataan Kelembagan Penyuluhan Pertanian Dalam Rangka Revitalisasi Penyuluhan Pertanian di Kabupaten Sragen " the aimed of rhis research circumstansial congeniality about settlement of extension institute in Sragen Regency. The research result showed in the effort revitality extension agriculture in Sragen Regency have formed the "house self' to field extension workers namely with "Badan Pelaksana Penyuluhan (BAPELUH)." In other side, so far perception of field extension workers and farmer toward effort revitality institute is positif. According to them, with the existance of this program, field extension workers more paid attention. Though some among farmer don't know the name of extension revitality instirute but farmer assess the condition of farmers extension workers in now more motivated, active and proactive and progressively entangle the farmer partisipatively in decision making.
