Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: The relationship between self-regulation and parental support with academic procrastination of students from the faculty of da'wah and communication at UIN North Sumatra. The population in this study were 60 students Procrastination from the faculty of da'wah and communication at UIN North Sumatra. The number of samples used in this study were 60 Student. Data collection techniques by means of a scale method that is the scale of self regulation, scale of parental support and scale of procrastination, where previously the three scales were tested on 30 student, with the sampling technique was total sampling. The analysis of this research is multiple regression. The results of the study are a). There is a negative self regulation and parental support with procrastination, this is indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) = 0.625 and sig F change of 0,05, where sig 0.05, it can be concluded that the variable self regulation and parental support variables together or simultaneously related to procrastination variables.. b). There is a significant negative self regulation with procrastination of students from the faculty of da'wah and communication at UIN North Sumatra with a correlation coefficient rx1y = 0.338; sig 0.05; and effective contribution weight of 11,4%. c). There is a significant negative parental support and procrastination, with the correlation coefficient rx2y = 0.336; sig 0.05; with an effective contribution weight of 11,3%. the total effective contribution of the two independent variables on procrastination is 39.0%. d). From these results it is known that there are still 61.0% influence of other factors on Procrastinasi. It is known that the research subjects have relatively high self-regulation and high parental support, while procrastination is also classified as moderate. Based on the results of this study, the hypothesis proposed was accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of playing sand and plasticine on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang. This study used a quantitative descriptive type with quasi experiments design, and used the Time Series Design system. The research subjects were 20 young children aged 5-6 years which were divided into 2 experimental groups, namely experiment I with sand games consisting of 10 students and experiment II with plasticine games. consists of 10 students at CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang. Hypothesis testing is done using the Wiloxon Signed Rank Test.Hypothesis test results show that there is an effect of early childhood creativity before and after playing sand games with an average value (0.00 α = 0.021), there is an effect of early childhood creativity before and after playing plasticine games with an average value (0.00α = 0.022), and there is a difference in the creativity of children playing with sand and plasticine (0.00 α = 0.09). The results showed that there was an effect of playing sand on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang with an increase of 21.1%. There is an effect of playing plasticine on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang with an increase of 22%. There is a difference in the effect of playing sand and plasticine on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang by 0.9%.

Abstract

This research is to know the relation of student perception to counselor and infrastructure facilities of Counseling Guidance with interest of counseling guidance service to students of SMP Negeri 2 Dewantara - Aceh Utara 2017. Type of research is quantitative. The research population of all students in grade VIII and IX SMP is 200 students. The sample of this study amounted to 109 students of SMP Negeri 2 Dewantara. Sampling technique in the form of simple random sampling and data collection method using psychological scale and questionnaire, while the method of data analysis using product moment correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant positive correlation between students' perceptions on counselor and BK infrastructure with interest of counseling service, where coefficient rx12y = 0.662 and p = 0,000 with contribution equal to 43,9%. (2). There is a significant positive correlation between students' perceptions of counselors with interest in counseling counseling services, where the coefficients rx1y = 0.662 and p = 0,000 with contribution of 43.8%. (3). There is a significant positive relationship between BK facilities and infrastructure with the interest of counseling services, where the coefficient rx2y = 0.271 and p = 0,000 with a contribution of 7.3 % thus stated that all hypotheses are acceptable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with aggressive behavior in SMA Negeri 6 Banda Aceh. The subjects in this research were student of SMA 6 Banda Aceh as many as 40 people. The sampling technique in this research is using purposive sampling technique. The measuring instruments that used in this study are the scale of emotional intelligence, the scale of spiritual intelligence and the scale of aggressive behavior. Based on the results of the analysis using the statistical method of multiple linear regression analysis showed that from the two independent variables of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with the dependent variable is the aggressive behavior has a significant negative relationship, as shown by (R = -0.645;  = 0.416; F = 13.183; p = 0.000). These two independent variables have effective contribution of 41.6% against the aggressive behavior. The other results in this research note that the variables of the emotional intelligence has been associated with aggressive behavior with effective contribution of 15.5% while the spiritual intelligence variables has been associated with aggressive behavior with the effective contribution of 40.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between lifestyle and motivation with consumptive behavior among Al-Azhar High School students in Medan. This type of research is a quantitative study with a correlational approach with a sample of 128 Al-Azhar high school students obtained through screening. The research sample uses a total sampling technique. Measuring instruments used in this study are data collection techniques obtained through lifestyle scales, motivational scales and consumer behavior scales. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis techniques with  = 0.05. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between lifestyle with consumptive behavior with p-value = 0,000, correlation coefficient rx1y = 0.780 and with determination r2 = 0.609 (60.9%). There is a positive and significant relationship between motivation with consumptive behavior with p-value 0,000, correlation rx2y = 0.734 and with determination r2 = 0.538 (53.8%). There is a positive and significant relationship between lifestyle and motivation with consumptive behavior with a p-value of 0,000, a correlation of rx1x2y = 0.857 and with a determination of r2 = 0.735 (73.5%). Thus it can be concluded that the higher the lifestyle and motivation, the higher the consumptive behavior. The suggestion in this research is that schools can create an atmosphere that can control the culture of consumptive behavior by doing charitable behavior such as sharing and saving.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and social support with academic procrastination of BKPI Department Students, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN SU. The sample used in this study was 100 students from the BKPI Department of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN SU. This study used a quantitative method with the use of the scale method as a data collection tool, namely the self-efficacy scale, social support scale and procrastination scale. The results of this study are (1) the independent variable of this study, namely self-efficacy, has a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely procrastination. This is indicated by a significance level of less than 0.05. (2) the independent variable of this study, namely social support, has a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely procrastination. This is indicated by a significance level of less than 0.05. (3) based on the determination coefficient test, a value of 0.449 or 44.9% is obtained so that it can be explained that the independent variables of selfefficacy and social support have an effect on the dependent variable, namely procrastination of 44.9% and the rest is influenced by other variables that not examined in this study Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Social Support, Academic Procrastination.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and family support with achievement in history lessons at SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. Student achievement is related to how students get the quality or effectiveness of the level of learning achievement consisting of objectives, learning materials, strategies, learning tools, students and teachers. The hypothesis put forward is that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and family support with student achievement in high school students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, a sample of 117 students. This research uses emotional intelligence scale and family support scale. The method of data analysis is analysismultiple regression.Based on the data analysis carried out, the research results are obtained: 1) there is a significant positive relationship between Emotional Intelligence and History Lesson Achievement seen from the value of the determinant coefficient (Rxy) = 0.425 with p = 0.000 <0.050; 2) there is a significant positive relationship between family support and history achievement in terms of the value of the determinant coefficient (Rxy) = 0.655 with p = 0.000 <0.050; and 3) there is a significant positive relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Family Support with History Achievement as seen from the value of the determinant coefficient (Rxy) = 0.557 with p = 0.000 <0.050.
