Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial, penyesuaian diri terhadap psychological well-being. Masalah difokuskan pada penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada pengaruh dukungan sosial dan penyesuaian diri terhadap psychological well-being. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantatif dengan pendekatan korelasi kausal yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebab akibat antar variabel. Subjek penelitian yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu 450 siswa dari kelas X, XI, XII, Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu skala psikologi untuk dukungan sosial, penyesuaian dan psychological well-being yang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ada pengaruh positif antara dukungan sosial dan penyesuaian diri terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis siswa dengan nilai koefisien determinan R2 = 0,545, koefisien F= 268,176 dan signifikansi p = 0,000. Sumbangan efektif dukungan sosial dan penyesuaian diri secara bersamaan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis sebesar 54, 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui variabel dukungan sosial mempunyai rerata rerata hipotetik sebesar 60 dan rerata empirik sebesar 63, 19. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial tergolong sedang, selanjutnya untuk variabel penyesuaian diri mempunyai rerata rerata hipotetik sebesar 62,5 dan rerata empirik sebesar 63,14. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian diri tergolong sedang, dan untuk variabel kesejahteraan psikologis mempunyai rerata rerata hipotetik sebesar 62, 5 dan rerata empirik sebesar 62, 99. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis tergolong sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang properti psikometri yang terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabiltas dalam penelitian ini menekankan pada dua pendekatan yakni Konsistensi Internal dan Analisis faktor Konfirmatori.Pengujian ini dilakukan pada konstruk dari pengukuran Kecerdasan Majemuk dari teori Gardner yang terdiri sembilan dimensi dan 63 indikator/item.Adapun dimensinya adalah Logika matematika, verbal lingguistik, interpersonal, interpersonal visual ruang, kinestetik, musik, naturalis dan eksistensial. Pengukuran kecerdasan majemuk ini adalah multidimensi, karena tidak adanya keterkaitan antara satu dimensi dengan dimensi yang lain. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 680 mahasiswa yang berdomisili di Sumatera Utara, yang pengambilan datanya dilakukan secara online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui indikator apa saja yang paling berkontribusi dan bagaimana keterandalan dan keterpercayaancayaan alat ukur yang sudah diformulasi dalam mengukur kecerdasan majemuk. Hasil yang menunjukkan dari sembilan dimensi yang diformulasikan keseluruhannya memenuhi asumsi reliabilitas baik dengan pendekatan konsistensi internal maupun pendekatan analisis faktor konfirmatori. Estimasi dengan menggunakan koefisien loading factor yang terstandar menunjukkan terdapat 2 indikator yang tidak memenuhi kriteria dan tidak disarankan untuk dipakai yakni satu indikator dimensi logika matematika  dan satu indikator dari dimensi interpersonal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan ataupun korelasi antara minat kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja konselor serta untuk mengetahui hubungan profesionalisme terhadap kepuasan kerja konselor di LPT Grahita Indonesia di Banten. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah konselor LPT Grahita Indonesia di Banten yang berjumlah 50 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi pearson. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel minat kerja memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja konselor di LPT Grahita Indonesia di Banten, begitu pula dengan variabel profesionalisme yang juga memiliki korelasi terhadap kepuasan kerja konselor di LPT Grahita Indonesia di Banten.  Bila minat kerja semakin tinggi maka kepuasan kerja konselor juga semakin tinggi. Begitu juga dengan variabel profesionalisme, dimana semakin tinggi profesionalisme maka akan semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerja konselor. Berdasarkan perbandingan mean empirik dan mean hipotetik, diketahui bahwa minat kerja dan profesionalisme konselor berada dalam kategori sedang sehingga kepuasan kerja konselor pun berada di kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the differences in teaching style of the UNA Kisaran lecturers, the method used is quantitative, a population of 123 lecturers and all of them are sampled. The instrument uses the Grasha 1996 teaching style scale. The results showed that there were some differences based on gender, experience, age and majors seen from the three teaching styles, all showing significant differences. The results of the T test show there are differences in teaching styles seen from the gender and majors of lecturers. The results of ANOVA showed teaching experience and age between the range 5-12, 13-20 and> 21 years also showed differences. Anova results show that age gives a difference between 31-40, 41-50 and> 51 years. Then between the sexes of men and women also provide a significant difference.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and school climate with bullying behavior at private high school Mamiyai Al-Ittyhadiyah Medan. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational method. The subjects in this study were students at Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah Medan with the results showing that: (1) There was a significant negative relationship between self-esteem and bullying behavior as indicated by the coefficient rx1y = -0.525; p = 0.001 p <0.05, the results show that self-esteem has a predictive power towards bullying behavior of 27.5%. (2) There is a significant negative relationship between school climate and bullying behavior in Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah Medan as indicated by rx2y = -0.546 ; p = 0.000 p <0.05, the result is that the school climate has a predictive power to the emergence of bullying behavior by 29.8%. (3) There is a significant relationship between self-esteem and school climate with bullying behavior as indicated by the coefficient F=12.039 R=-0.560 while R2=0.313 with p=0.000 P<0.05. Taken together, self-esteem and school climate have predictive power to the emergence of bullying behavior by 30.3%. From this result, it is known that there are still 69.7% contributions from other factors or variables to the formation of bullying behavior. From the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and peer conformity with bullying behavior at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Wasliyah 12 Perbaungan. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational method. The measuring instrument used is the Likert scale to measure self-control and peer conformity with bullying behavior. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were 435 people with a sample of 140 people by screening students who behaved in bullying and the test results became 110 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. The subjects in this study were students at MA Alwasliyah 12 Perbaungan with the results of the study showing that: (1) There was a significant negative relationship between self-control and bullying behavior (2) there is a significant negative relationship between peer conformity and behavior bullying of students at MA Al-Wasliyah 12 Perbaungan (3) There is a significant relationship between self-control and peer conformity with bullying behavior From this result, it is known that there are still 69.7% contributions from other factors or variables to the formation of bullying behavior. From the results of this research, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

One of the effects of the transition period that occurs on young women is the perception that they look beautiful by doing an excessive diet so that it can cause eating disorders that affect themselves and their social relationships. This study aims to see the relationship between self-confidence and eating disorder anorexia nervosa in adolescents. This study uses correlational quantitative methods by analyzing the dynamics between phenomena, both risk factors and effect factors. The design was cross sectional to see the relationship between exposure status (risk factors) and observed effects. The results of the analysis showed that self-confidence had a significant relationship with eating disorder anorexia nervosa in adolescents, amounting to 28.42%. This is indicated by the coefficient value (rx1y = -0.865) with a significance level (p = 0.000 0.01), which is very significant. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, and because rx1y is negative, eating disorder Anorexia Nervosa has a very significant negative relationship with self-confidence.

Abstract

The correlation between social support and extrovert personality tendencies and psychological well-being were examined in a sample of 369 students at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai, North Sumatra. The research was conducted from Oktober 2019 to April 2020. The proposed hypothesis; there was a correlation between social support and extrovert personality tendencies with psychological well-being among students. Data were collected through a scale of psychological well-being, social support scale, and extrovert personality tendency scale.  Using multiple regression analysis we found that the coefficient Freg = 346,958; sig 0.010, then the three hypotheses proposed in this study were accepted. The two variables in this study, namely the variable social support and extrovert personality tendencies, contributed 65.5% to psychological well-being. Separately, social support and  the extrovert personality tendency  contributed 65.4% and 60.4% respectivelly to the level of psychological well-being. We concluded that Social support, extrovert personality tendencies (the correlation coefficient rx1y = 0.809; sig 0.010, and  rx2y = 0.777; sig 0) had  a significant relationshi correlation to psychological well-being as well as both  social support and extrovert personality simultaneously

Abstract

Psychological well-being is a happy state that can be seen from the individual having a purpose in life. The focus of this research is to look at the psychological well-being of students at SMA Methodist 7 Medan which is then associated with religiosity and gratitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between religiosity and gratitude with psychological well-being in students of SMA Methodist 7 Medan. Participants in this research amounted to 180 students using total sampling technique. This type of research is a quantitative study, where data collection uses a scale which will later be processed with SPSS rocks.The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being seen from the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.613 with p = 0.000 0.050, then there is a significant positive relationship between gratitude with psychological well-being seen from the value of the coefficient (Rxy) = 0.828 with p = 0.000 0.050, and there is a significant positive relationship between religiosity and gratitude. with psychological well-being by using regression analysis method, it is known that the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.845 with p = 0.000 0.050. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between religiosity and gratitude with psychological well-being in students of SMA Methodist 7 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Self Efficacy and the Role of Peers with Cheating Behavior in Students of SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Deli. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The population in this study were 125 students who had a tendency to cheat who had previously been selected by screening. Samples were taken using the total sampling technique as many as 125 students. Data were analyzed using multiple regression formulas. This study uses a scale with the instrument of Self Efficacy, the role of peers and cheating behavior. The results showed: a) there was a significant negative relationship between Self Efficacy and cheating behavior in students, indicated by the correlation coefficient (rx1y) = -0.220; p = 0.048 0.05. b) there is a significant negative relationship between the role of peers and cheating behavior in students, indicated by the correlation coefficient (rx2y) = -0.226; p= 0.039 0.05. c) a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy, the role of peers and students' cheating behavior, as shown by the correlation coefficient (R) = -0.285; p = 0.006 0.05; Freg of 5.382, it can be concluded that the variables of Self Efficacy and the role of peers are related to cheating behavior. Thus, it can be stated that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.
