Abstract

Abstrak. Tempe selama ini, khususnya di Kabupten Majene, hanya dijadikan sebagai bahan makanan pokok, dibuat menjadi gorengan, campuran sayur dan sebagainya, padahal tempe bisa juga dibuat menjadi berbagai macam kue, salah satu diantaranya adalah bronis. Jenis kue ini mudah pembuatannya dan disenangi oleh masyarakat sehingga produk dan pemasarannya mudah dilakukan dan dengan begitu produk ini bisa menjadi pemantik bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga untuk berwirausaha. Berdasar pada realitas itulah, maka kegiatan PKM ini mempertemukan dua kelompok yaitu ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan produsen dan penjual tempe untuk diberi pelatihan dan pendampingan bagaimana membuat brownis dari bahan baku tempe. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan adalah ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi dan praktek langsung membuat bronis tempe. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta bukan saja telah mengerti dan memahami dengan baik bagaimana cara mengolah dan membuat brownies tempe akan tetapi juga sudah memunculkan sikap yang positif dan keinginan untuk berwirausaha. Kegiatan yang dianggap berhasil ini juga didukung oleh keseriusan dan antusias para peserta ditambah respon positif dari aparat pemerintah setempat serta tokoh perempuan dan pendidik, Faktor pendukung lain adalah anggota Tim pengabdi yang bersemangat dan memilki konpentensi dibidangnya masing-masing. Luaran dari PKM ini adalah artikel yang dipublish dijurnal atau prosiding, HAKI, media online dan video kegiatan.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Bronis, Tempe. Pemberdayaan

Abstract

Abstract. The study aims to identify the stages of development of Flipped Classroom (FC) model, which can improve students’ HOTS and the validity and practicality of the model. The research subjects were all 10th-grade students following the Crafts and Entrepreneurship subject and the subject's teacher. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, questionnaire, checklist, and scale and analyzed descriptively.  The research findings show that the Crafts and Entrepreneurship subject was taught with conventional method which more dominantly involved teacher rather than students from defining stage like front end analysis, students’ analysis, task analysis, and learning goal specification analysis. The stages show that students’ ability was low, including receiving the learning material and doing the final task, which further implied their HOTS. However, their academic skill was probably relatively good. Then, the review showed that learning media was valid, effective, and practical. The findings were categorized as valid since experts performed the validation, and the trial results show a validity level of 3.16.  This study found that the learning material for the FC model was practical. The practical material was developed by implementing the input we obtained from the trial using a questionnaire to gather data about the perception of three Crafts and Entrepreneurship subject teachers and 33 students following the subject using the FC learning model and media.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental aim is to examine the effect of implementing the M-PBL strategy on the metacognitive and problem-solving skills of Chemistry Education students. The number of research samples was 35 and 33 students for the experimental and control classes were selected randomly. The experiment class uses the M-PBL strategy. In contrast, the control class usages a verification strategy for Chemical Equilibrium, Advance Basic Chemistry courses in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Two instruments used are, 1) 12 items of Objective test on Chemical Equilibrium (CE) to measure students' problem-solving skills. 2) 12 Essay Test items to measure metacognitive knowledge. Assessment of metacognitive Knowledge adapts Rompayom's rubric. Implementing the M-PBL Strategy affected students' declarative, procedural, and conditional knowledge. The MPBL strategy had a better effect than conventional strategies on students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This is research and development that aims to find out the stages of developing the learning tools of the Walking Gallery method and to understand how this learning model can improve student competency validly, effectively, and practically. Research and development procedure was conducted using the 4 D model of the Thiagarajan model, Semmel and Semmel using four stages: the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage and the disseminate stage. The research subjects were Bachelor's degree students of the Department of Family Welfare Education who took part in Family Sociology lectures in the odd semester of the Academic Year 2017/2018. The research trial subjects were 25 students. This research data was processed and analyzed descriptively including data on the results of validation/review, learning management, student activities, data analysis on the results of mastery tests on family sociology concepts, implementation of lesson plans and questionnaire responses of students and lecturers on learning tools. Data processing and analysis were done with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the application of the Walking Gallery (WK) learning model was effective in increasing student competency. This can be seen from two aspects, namely the learning implementation which was observed by three observers and the results of the student creativity questionnaire assessment. The results showed that the implementation of the learning process using the Walking Gallery from the user (lecturer) side indicated that 90.91% was carried out very well while from the student side revealed that 86.11% implemented well. Moreover, based on the results of the student creativity questionnaire, it was found that the students were pleased with the effectiveness of the Walking Gallery method. It can be concluded that the student competencies categorized as good is 88.53% (high). Furthermore, it was found valid, effective, and practical learning tool products that can improve student competencies. Moreover, the learning tool was well appreciated by the lecturers of Family Sociology Courses. Learning tool products are lesson plans (RPP-WK), and textbooks for students majoring in Family Welfare Education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stages of developing learning tools in the inquiry learning model that can improve students' creative thinking skills, then find out the learning tools of inquiry learning model that are valid, effective, and practical. This research produces learning tools, including Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) with a validated inquiry learning model, a validated module, then a learning mode manual, and a simple IPR (Intellectual Property Right). This research supports the leading research of the State University of Makassar related to the first leading research in the field of education, especially the sub-sector of the Development of Educational Models and Effective Learning. By implementing the inquiry learning model learning tools, students are expected to get multiple benefits, namely: (1) understanding and mastering the material of Kitchen Appliances and (2) increasing students' creative thinking skills. This research is a research on the development of the Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel models which are modified through four stages, namely (1) define stage, (2) design, (3) develop and (4) disseminate. In the develop stage, expert validation is carried out. This research was designed in two stages, the first stage (in 2019) producing an initial prototype design of learning tools. The second stage (2020) aims to develop learning tools for Kitchen Appliance Subjects, testing, evaluation, and revision. The outputs to be achieved in this study are: (1) produce learning tools (lesson plans, modules, and model books) that have been validated by experts, practitioners and have been tested and analyzed, (2) an article will be published in a National proceeding and International journal.

Abstract

Abstrak. Labu adalah salah satu buah yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menjadi bahan dasar dalam pembuatan makanan, minuman dan aneka macam kue. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan cookies labu. Untuk mengetahui penerimaan panelis terhadap cookies labu kuning dan Untuk megetahui tanggapan peserta pelatihan terhadap cookies labu kuning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga untuk dibuat produknya sekaligus uji panelis, selanjutnya formula terbaik dilatihakan kepada ibu-ibu dan remaja putri di Desa Bulue Kabupaten Soppeng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: Proses Pembuatan cookies Labu kuning dilakukan dengan cara : (1) siapkan semua bahan dan alat serta timbang semua bahan untuk setiap formulasi, (2) Campur semua bahan dan uleni hingga rata, (3) Bentuk adonan sesuai selera atau menyerupai labu panggang sampai matang (berwarna kuning kecoklatan), (4) Dinginkan dan atur dalam toples/wadah yang kedap udara. Hasil penelitian terhadap mutu produk cookies labu kuning dengan tiga formula dapat disimpulkan bahwa formula yang terbaik menurut panelis adalah formula F2 (30%) dengan klasifikasi warna kuning kecoklatan, aroma harum khas labu, tekstur keras, rasa enak, dan over all mutu baik. Respon masyarakat terhadap pelatihan pembuatan cookies labu kuning adalah baik dan menyatakan bahwa cookies labu kuning layak untuk dikembangkan, bukan saja karena bahannya mudah diperoleh, akan tetapi juga mudah proses pembuatannya. Kata Kunci: Substitusi, Cookies, Labu Kuning

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi linear berganda yang untuk mengetahui gambaran praktek kerja industri, gambaran bimbingan karir dan gambaran kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII pada jurusan tata busana di SMKN 8 Makassar serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktek kerja industri dan bimbingan karir terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja bagi siswa kelas XII pada jurusan tata busana di SMKN 8 Makassar. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah praktek kerja industri, bimbingan karir dan kesiapan kerja. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran angket dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi google form, dilengkapi wawancara. Populasi penelitian pada penelitian ini sebanyak 34 siswa kelas XII tata busana tahun ajaran 2019/2020 jurusan tata busana dengan sample sebanyak 33 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran praktek kerja industri berada pada kategori baik sebesar 75%, gambaran bimbingan karir berada pada kategori baik sebesar 84% terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja, dan gambaran kesiapan kerja siswa berada pada kategori baik sebesar 75%. Praktek kerja industri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan sebesar 30,0% terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja bagi siswa kelas XII jurusan tata busana. Bimbingan karir berpengaruh positif sebesar 14,9% terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja pada siswa kelas XII pada jurusan tata busana SMKN 8 Makassar. Praktek kerja industri dan bimbingan karir berpengaruh secara simultan sebesar 30,1% terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja pada Siswa Kelas XII pada jurusan tata busana di SMKN 8 Makassar.Kata Kunci: Praktek Kerja Industri, Bimbingan Karir, Kesiapan Kerja

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine the application of the Discovery Learning Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in the Excellent Service Course in the PKK FT UNM Department. The subjects of this study were students who programmed the Excellent Service course as many as 27 people. This research was conducted in 2 (two) cycles. The data collection method used pre-test and post-test to determine student learning outcomes, observation sheets to determine the implementation of discovery learning learning models and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that student learning outcomes have increased. The average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle the value of students' cognitive aspects is 82.5 with a percentage of 93% and in the second cycle it increases to 87.5 with a percentage of 100%. In the first cycle the affective aspect of the students was 77 with a percentage of 85% and in the second cycle it increased to 84 with a percentage of 100%. The first cycle of psychomotor aspects of students was 80 with a percentage of 89% increased to 85 with a percentage of 100% in the second cycle. Based on these results, it proves that the discovery learning model in the excellent service course can improve student learning outcomes in the PKK FT UNM major.  Keywords: Discovery Learning, Learning Outcomes, Excellent Service
