Abstract

Roban mountain area become alternative natural tourist destination in Singkawang its natural beauty. However, until now there is no need of the local government and the private sector for the development of its tourism. Perhaps, due to the lack of information about the potential attractiveness of Roban Mountain area. The purpose of this study was to looking for data on the potential attractiveness of the region Roban Mountain area. Data processing done by descriptive analysis is performed a weighting and assessment based on the Guidelines for Regional Operations Analysis Objects and Attraction Nature Directorate General of PHKA (2003) which has been modified. The most popular attraction in Roban Mountain area : the view from the top of the mountain, integrity of natural resources, fres air and good atmosphere. Climbing activity is the most popular visitor activity. The assessment result all of attraction criteria have score 1233,42 that means this area have potential attraction (B). This value indicates Roban Mountain area could be developed into a tourist destination of nature. Keywords: Roban mountain, tourism potential, nature tourism, villa di puncak

Abstract

Singkawang, a city located in the province of West Kalimantan has some attractive tourist spots and one of them is Urban forest of Mount Sari. Urban forest of Mount Sari is managed by city government of Singkawang and until now it has been developed maximal corresponding to aspects of tourism. Accordingly, research on the assessment of tourist spot in that area is very necessary as one of the important efforts to determine the planning in the field of natural tourist spot. Based on those considerations, the researcher wants to know more details about the attractiveness of the urban forest of Mount Sari especially with regard to aspects of tourism. This study aims to investigate the tourist spot of urban forest of Mount Sari. The method used in this research is descriptive method that is based on the standart Raw Research Development and Utilization of Natural Tourist spot 1983/1984. The result indicated that the urban forest of Mount Sari got a total score of 799.14 and it is categorized FAIR (C) to be developed into a natural tourist spot. Abstract

ABSTRAK This study aims to determine the level of income of the people in forest tembawang use in village to Kurnia of District of Kuala Behe Landak Regency. The study was conducted by direct interview by census (100%), respondents as many as 113 family based on population (KK). The overall result of tembawang forest products and forest products revenue outside tembawang shows people's income from outside employment a result of forest tembawang Rp 1,886,681, - / month or 62.14890% of the total revenue with the highest income variation of Rp 15.575 million, - / month and the lowest revenue of Rp 425.000, - / month. While income from forest products tembawang contributed 37.8510% of the total income of society. income of farmers in forest tembawang by 40%, while 60% is influenced by other factors such as weather factors mileage and prices are constantly changing market. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity and level of dominance of Kantong Semar in conservation area of Rumah Pelangi. The research used systematic sampling methods in swamp forest area and dry forest area. The sampling line was 200 meter, distance between sampling line was 50 meter and the amount of sampling line was 4 in each vegetation area. Result of research showed that four Kantorng Semar was found i.e. Nepenthes ampullaria Jack, Nepenthes rafflesiana Jack, Nepenthes bicalcarata Hook. f., Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce. Species in swamp forest area were Nepenthes ampullaria Jack with INP = 80,788%, Nepenthes rafflesiana Jack with INP = 71,92% and Nepenthes bicalcarata Hook.f  with INP = 47,29%. Species in dry forest was Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce with INP = 200%. The dominance species was Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce with highest diversity (C = 1), meanwhile the lowest dominance species was Nepenthes bicalcarata Hook.f. (C = 0,055).  The index of diversity were as follow Nepenthes rafflesiana Jack ( = 0,159), Nepenthes ampullaria Jack ( = 0,158), Nepenthes bicalcarata Hook.f. ( = 0,147) and Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce ( = 0) respectively. The value of highest diversity was Nepenthes rafflesiana Jack with species diversity 0, 264 and the lowest was Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce. Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine Genus and association of arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on the Aquilaria SPP in Laman Satong Village Ketapang Regency. The result of spores observation based on soil samples which taken in the rhizosphere of Aquilaria SPP founded that of spores in 100 g soil is about 340 spores ofsoilGigaspora SP1, 1238 spores of Glomus SP1, 1334 Glomus SP2, 459 spores of Glomus SP3, 442 Glomus SP 4. The infection of AMF in the root of Aquilaria SPP showed that low level until high level of infection is on plants in 1 until to 3 years, while the infection in 5 years plants is low. The conclusions from the observation result about spores and infection of the roots showed Aquilaria SPP associated with AMF and the infection observation in the root of Aquilaria SPP showed rates of infection getting diminishing with ages Aquilaria SPP. Abstract

Indigenous forests have a very large role in the lives of local people of Menyabo and communities around indigenous forest, the forest conservation effort in order to be able to benefits for future. In utilizing forest communities have the local wisdom in managing forests with its rules or norms that have been applied over the years and is complied with and adhered to by community members, the norms are so called customary norms. The method that used in this research is descriptive whereas for data collection used structured interviews using questionnaires. The number of respondents in this research study are 81 respondents. The research results revealed that the communities participation of forest in conserving indigenous forests as a buffer zone water resources tends to be high ie there are 62 respondents (76.55%) who have high participation, there were 8 respondents (9.87%) which had medium participation, and 11 respondents (13.58%) who had low participation.   Keyword : participation, community, Indigenous forest, Source of Water.

Abstract

Tembawang forest has a very large role for the life of the local community and society which are located around the forest area. Utilizing thorns pandan (Pandanus tectorius) is a forest conservation efforts in order to be able to enjoy the benefits of forests to the future. The method used is descriptive whereas for data collection used a structured interview using a questionnaire. The number of respondents in this study were 100 respondents. The results reveal that the level of utilization of pandanus thorns by society tends to be high. A total of 62 respondents (62%) had a utilization rate of thorns pandan in high tembawang woods, as many as 30 respondents (30%) had a utilization rate of thorns pandan tembawang forests are and as much as 8 resonden (8% ) has a utilization rate of thorns pandan in low tembawang forest. Abstract

ABSTRACT South Jawai is one of the districts that are in regency of Sambas West Kalimantan province. In the district of South Jawai there is a potential for nature tourism is not yet widely known by the public, the potential is in the hamlet Ramayadi, nature tourism potential of the region, namely the Pontiyanak Island, nature tourism potential Pontiyanak Island has a fascinating natural scenery to visit and still have fresh air and natural, but until now there is no relevant agencies interested in developing the site as a tourist attraction, due to the lack of specific information about the tourism potential Pontiyanak Island in detail. The aim of this study was to obtain data on the potential tourist attraction and provide an assessment of the potential attractiveness Pontiyanak Island in regency of Sambas. The method used in this study is a scoring method based on the assessment standards Object to Visit Nature PHKA 2003. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and direct observations in the field. The results showed an average total score of 785.62, from the results obtained in the area of the Pontiyanak  island of get the value (A) which means Pontiyanak Island neighborhood potential to be developed as a place or natural attractions.
