Abstract

The problem in this study is that the achievements of KTC tennis athletes have not been very good. This achievement is not yet so well due to many factors, but based on observations and interviews with club coaches the most dominant factor is the low service accuracy of KTC Pariaman athletes. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct a study with the aim to find out whether there is the Contribution of grip strength and eye-hand coordination to the accuracy of service in the City Pariaman Tennis Club (KTC) tennis athletes. This type of research is correlational. The study population was all KTC Pariaman tennis athletes, amounting to 32 people. Sampling in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique, amounting to 20 people. Data was collected using a test of all three variables. Grip strength variable data is taken using a test tool called the Handgrip Dynamometer, hand eye coordination variable using the Ballwerfen Und-fangen test and service accuracy using the Hewitt tennis achievement test. Data analysis techniques are product-moment correlation, and multiple correlation. The results of the data analysis show that: 1) The strength of grip provides a significant contribution to the accuracy of he service of KTC Pariaman tennis athletes, with a contribution of 23.5%, 2) Eye-hand coordination provides a significant contribution to the accuracy of the service of KTC Pariaman tennis athletes, with contributions 25.3%, 3). The strength of grip and eye-hand coordination both contributed significantly to the accuracy of the service of KTC Pariaman tennis athletes, with a contribution of 33.1%.

Abstract

For soccer players, core stability and athletic performance are closely related. High levels of muscular endurance as well as heart and lung stamina are key factors in soccer players' athletic performance. The good functioning of the core stability muscle and the high endurance of soccer players will assist players minimize the risk of overuse injury, even if core stability plays a role in ensuring the balance of muscle work during exercise. Several training regimens place less emphasis on the strength of the core muscles, which leads to an imbalanced use of muscles during practice and competition. This is one of the things that makes players easily tired. This study's goal was to ascertain how core stability training based on dynamic neuromuscular stabilization affected soccer players' ability to play for longer periods of time. This study used an experiment with a one-group pretest and posttest design as its research method. The results demonstrated a correlation between improving endurance and increasing core stability muscle strength using the McGill core endurance test with a value of P = 0.000 and revealed that core stability training has an influence on increasing endurance with a value of P = 0.005. According to the study's findings, soccer players' endurance can be increased by using the Core Stability Exercise training approach, which is based on Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization.

Abstract

There are many elements that need to be improved besides the basic techniques in playing tennis. One of the elements that need to be trained is agility and speed. When practicing agility and speed it is very rarely given by trainers in practice. In fact, agility is also necessary and much needed when playing to face opponents who have better quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the ladder drill training method on increasing the agility of tennis players. The research method used is quasy experiment. The test instrument used is the Illinois Agility Test. The results showed that there was an effect of ladder drill training on agility with an average score of 17.44 in the pretest, and after being given treatment the average score was 16.34 in the posttest. In the results of the pretest and posttest there is a decrease in the average score, this means that there is a significant effect because the final agility test uses less time.
