Abstract

Stroke is known as a disease caused by rupture of blood vessels in the brain or blockage of blood vessels in the brain. Disruption of the blood supply to the brain can result in damage to brain cells which results in damage to brain function. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) stroke is one of the highest causes of death worldwide, because almost 85% of the causes of death in the world are due to stroke. Current developments in science and technology require research to analyze stroke patient data so that the dominant factors that lead to stroke can be identified. This is an initial step that can be taken to address these problems to reduce the risk of death caused by stroke. In this study, the analysis was carried out by implementing a decision tree algorithm using python because the decision tree has good accuracy 91% in making predictions. With the decision tree formed from this algorithm, it will be easy to see the symptoms, starting from those who are most at risk to those who have the lowest risk of causing stroke

Abstract

Decision Support System is a computer system that processes data into information to make decisions regarding specific semi-structured problems. It is specially developed to support solutions for unstructured management issues to enhance the quality of decision-making. The selection of potential thesis advisors at Hamzanwadi University's Informatics Engineering program is currently done by directly choosing an advisor while considering individual criteria or by seeking advice from peers. However, this direct selection method sometimes overlooks crucial aspects that should be prioritized. This research aims to construct a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to assist final-semester students in the Faculty of Engineering at Hamzanwadi University in selecting their thesis advisors. The methodology employed in this Decision Support System is the Weighted Product method, which enables the calculation and comparison of multiple factors during the decision-making process. Factors analyzed in this study encompass the instructors' competency areas and the number of students they supervise. The utilization of this Decision Support System is expected to aid students in choosing an appropriate and fitting thesis advisor according to their needs. Moreover, the Decision Support System is anticipated to aid the faculty in providing information about potential thesis advisors before students finalize their choices. This research is expected to contribute to and benefit the development of information technology in the education sector

Abstract

The development of the internet world is highly expected for the present because more and more private companies, agencies, and educational institutions are very highly in need to serve as information services. In this study, we will try to make an Android-based Jersey Shirt Sales System Application that is addressed at the Berugak Jersey Lombok Store. The Berugak Jersey Lombok shop only uses social media and manuals in marketing its products. So, most of the consumers/customers come from the people around them and the social media they use. Currently, a business field is certainly less competitive if it does not have online marketing media such as e-commerce applications/websites. The existence of an application/website will be able to expand the reach in marketing the products sold at this store. The method used in the design and manufacture of this software is the waterfall method. The purpose of this final project research is to produce a sales system application design that can make it easier for consumers to place orders/transactions at the Berugak Jersey Lombok store and as a means to promote products to be more communicative and informative, to expand the marketing area and increase the number of consumers.
