Abstract

Education and training is one of the important factors in the placement of educators in the Army Polytechnic, because the implementation of education and training will make the performance of educators in the Army Polytechnic to be increased or better than before implementing education and training. The results of this study indicate that: i) Education has a significant influence on the performance of educators in the Army Polytechnic; ii) Training has a significant influence on the performance of educators in the Army Polytechnic; iii) Performance has a significant influence on Job promotion for educators in the Army Polytechnic; iv) Education has a significant influence on promotion for educators in the Army Polytechnic; v) Training has a significant influence on promotion for educators in the Army Polytechnic; vi) Education has a significant influence on job promotion through performance for educators in the Army Polytechnic; vii) Training has a significant influence on job promotion through performance for educators at the Army Polytechnic. Abstract

Semiotika adalah ilmu yang mengkaji tanda dalam kehidupan manusia karena manusia memiliki kemampuan untuk memberikan makna pada berbagai gejala sosial budaya dan alam. Karena tanda adalah bagian dari kebudayaan manusia semiotika dapat digunakan untuk mengkaji kehidupan manusia. Semiotika mengalami perkembangan sesuai dengan perkembangan disiplin ilmu yang lainnya, demikian juga dalam aplikasinya. Dalam manajemen pemasaran semiotika diaplikasikan pada periklanan, makna merek, dan makna sebuah produk. Dewasa ini, konsumen membeli suatu merek produk tidak lagi memperhatikan manfaat inti produk tersebut. Pusat perhatian konsumen adalah kemampuan produk tersebut untuk membantu mengekspresikan nilai-nilai yang diinginkan. Makna konotasi atau makna sekunder dari sebuah produk lebih diutamakan daripada makna denotasi atau makna primernya.

Abstract

A company's value is a reflection or good name of the company. The company value means a lot to investors and potential investors. This research aims to examine the effect of leverage and growth opportunity on corporate value through profitability. In this study, the populations of consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2017 period are used. This study used 15 companies as samples. Data processing techniques using path analysis. The results of the leverage study have a negative effect on profitability. A high amount of debt reduces profits. Growth opportunity affects profitability. An increase in assets increases profits. Leverage has a negative effect on firm value. A high amount of debt reduces the value of the company. Growth opportunity has a positive effect on firm value. An increase in assets or sales increases the value of the company. Profitability has an effect on firm value. Profits increase firm value. The effect of leverage on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable is not proven. Profitability indirectly has no effect on the relationship between leverage and firm value. The effect of growth opportunity on firm value with profitability as an intervening is proven. Indirectly, profitability affects the relationships of growth opportunity and firm value. Companies must have the right strategy in terms of using funds from outside the company to increase company value.

Abstract

This research is about industry revolution 4.0 which supports disruption in agriculture and management (advertising). Qualitative method with case study analysis is used in this research, specifically on Mr Basiri case as the subject, who is the condito sine qua non, known for his hidroganic invention. According to the analysis, it can be concluded that, by using YouTube to spread his knowledge, he was able to promote himself and obtain a source of income. Besides earning revenue from YouTube, a lot of people and organizations who are interested in his uploaded videos actually come to meet him or communicate with him through mobile phone to implement his farming model. Everything that had happened unexpectedly made him viewed as unique, as he loves to share, help, think ahead, follow the rules, do continuous research, and live religiously

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of work in quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. Factors that affect performance are leadership style, motivation, organizational culture and work environment. Based on this, this research study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation, organizational culture and work environment on employee performance in Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research using quantitative methods and approaches that describe the influence of leadership style, motivation, organizational culture and work environment on employee performance in Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency. The total population in this study were all employees of the Krejengan sub-district, Probolinggo Regency, as many as 43 people. Sampling in this study used saturated sampling, the entire population was used as a sample of 43 people. The results showed that 1) Leadership Style had a significant effect on employee performance, 2) Motivation had no significant effect on employee performance, 3) Organizational Culture had no significant effect on employee performance, 4) Work environment had a significant effect on employee performance, 5 ) Leadership style is the most dominant factor that has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational climate provides environmental forces that can affect the organization.

Abstract

Organizational climate provides environmental forces that can affect the organization. A good organizational climate can be seen from the behavior of each person, good relations or cooperation from each of its members, neat arrangement of the organizational structure and work procedures within the organization. Work ethic provides an overview of a person's views and attitudes towards work. This work ethic can be positive or negative so that it can affect the organization. Based on this, this research study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational climate, work ethic and work discipline on employee performance in the People's Welfare Section (Kesra) of Probolinggo Regency. This study uses quantitative methods to describe and explain the type of research used is descriptive research using quantitative methods and approaches that describe the influence of organizational climate, work ethic and work discipline on employee performance in the People's Welfare Section (Kesra) Probolinggo Regency. The total population in this study were all employees. The influence of organizational climate, work ethic and work discipline on employee performance in the People's Welfare Section (Kesra) Probolinggo Regency. Probolinggo Regency as many as 124 people. The sampling in this study used purposive sampling with the slovin formula of 55 samples. The results show that 1) Organizational climate has no significant effect on employee performance, 2) Work ethic has a significant effect on employee performance, 3) Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, 4) Simultaneously organizational climate, work ethic and work discipline significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

To reach sustainable development goal 6, “clean water and sanitation,” the government has made it mandatory to implement the Scheduled Desludging Service program (in the Indonesian language as layanan lumpur tinja terjadwal / L2T2). The L2T2 program is a septic tank desludging service in a given desludging period following a set desludging schedule. Malang City has successfully implemented the program within a short period despite starting the program only recently, in 2019. The researchers employed a qualitative research design with the case study method to derive a meaning behind a phenomenon, given that the program is actual, specific, and detailed. The research results indicated that the L2T2 program implementation in Malang City had met 7 of 8 criteria under the L2T2 program guideline set by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The one criterion that needed to be fulfilled concerning service pricing. Instead, the sanitation marketing implementation in the L2T2 program has met 7 of 10 standards in the sanitation marketing aspect—the three criteria needed to be fulfilled service pricing, CSR strategy, and loyalty program.

Abstract

This study sought to identify the effects of tax education and tax supervision during the Covid-19 pandemic on tax revenue through tax compliance. The population in this study was 1,550 Corporate Taxpayers engaged in the trade sector that are registered in the Singosari Tax Office. Using Slovin’s formula, 94 Taxpayers were selected as samples. Accidental sampling technique was used and data were collected by distributing questionnaires. Explanatory research using a quantitative approach was considered the most appropriate. Primary data came from respondents' answers to the questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1 to 5. Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to test the hypotheses of the study with the help of SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that tax education, tax supervision and tax compliance positively and significantly affect tax revenue, tax supervision positively and significantly affects tax compliance, tax education has no positive and significant effect on tax compliance, tax compliance cannot mediate tax education against tax revenue, and tax compliance partially mediates tax supervision against tax revenue.

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan dan harga merupakan suatu hal penting untuk diperhatikan oleh sebuah perusahaan untuk melihat sejauh mana perusahaan tersebut mampu meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan melalui kepuasan pelanggan. Savana Hotel and Convention Malang adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa perhotelan yang berlokasi strategis di tengah Kota Malang, namun pada tahun 2020 jumlah pengunjung hotel mengalami penurunan. Penurunan jumlah pelanggan tersebut diduga selain dipengaruhi oleh kondisi pandemi Covid-19 tetapi juga adanya penurunan kepuasan pelanggan, yang dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan dan harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh harga dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Hotel Savana Malang dengan dimediasi oleh kepuasan pelanggan. Jumlah responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 100 responden. Seluruh responden merupakan pengunjung Hotel Savana Malang yang menginap di hotel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil pengisian keusioner. Data hasil pengisian selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Partial Least Square dengan menggunakan bantuan program SmartPLS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Harga berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan; (2) kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan; (3) Harga berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan; (4) Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan; (5) Kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan; (6) Harga berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan melalui kepuasan pelanggan; dan (7) Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan melalui kepuasan pelanggan.
