Abstract

The purpose of this study is: to prove and analyze the effect of motivation, work discipline and work environment both simultaneously and partially on the performance of employees at the Batu City Food Security Service.The sample used in this study was 40 employees in the Batu City Government Food Security Department with the questionnaire distribution method. The results of this study indicate that 1) the simultaneous influence between motivation, work discipline and work environment on employee performance at the Batu City Food Security Service, 2) there is a partial influence between motivation, work discipline and work environment on employee performance at the Food Security Service Batu City, 3) there is a dominant influence among the variables of motivation, work discipline and work environment on the performance of employees at the Batu City Food Security Service.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan budaya kaizen, kinerja, motivasi internal dan disiplin kerja serta menganalisis pengaruh budaya kaizen terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi internal dan disiplin kerja karyawan departemen after sales Auto 2000 Sutoyo Malang. Peneliti menggunakan metode sampling sensus dalam penentuan responden penelitian, artinya semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu 62 karyawan Departemen after sales Auto 2000 Sutoyo Malang. Hal ini dilakukan karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) component based PLS (Partial Least Squares) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 3.3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan, budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi internal, kedisiplinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, motivasi internal berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Motivasi internal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan. Budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kedisiplinan. Budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi internal. Budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi internal dan kedisiplinan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum budaya kaizen memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang diperkuat dengan adanya pengaruh motivasi internal dan disiplin kerja.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (i) menganalisis pengaruh signifikan kompetensi, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan; (ii) menganalisisi pengaruh signifikan kompetensi, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, dan gaya kepemimpinan serta kepuasan kerja karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan; (iii) menganalisis pengaruh signifikan kepuasan kerja karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan; (iv) menganalisis pengaruh signifikan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan; (v) menganalisis pengaruh signifikan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan; (vi) menganalisis pengaruh signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan; (vii) menganalisisi pengaruh signifikan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang menarik. Dimana bahwa tidak semua variabel berhubungan signifikan, hubungan linier signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi untuk masing-masing hubungan variabel eksogen dengan variabel endogen tersebut lebih kecil dari α 0.05, setelah tidak mengikutkan hubungan tidak linier maka dapat dilanjutkan. Hubungan yang linier adalah kompetensi dengan kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi dengan kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi dengan kinerja, dan kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja.Kata kunci: kompetensi, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja

Abstract

Kinerja adalah hasil kerja yang dicapai seseorang dalam melaksanakan tugas atau pekerjaan sesuai dengan target atau rencana yang dibebankan kepadanya. Terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, baik berupa faktor internal maupun eksternal pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Pratama Malang Utara melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Sampel yang diambil secara jenuh yakni seluruh pegawai (KPP) Pratama Malang Utara yang berjumlah 92 orang dan dianalisa menggunakan metode Analisis Jalur Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (2) Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. (3) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (4) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. (5) Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. (6) Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja. (7) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja.   Kata kunci: motivasi, lingkungan kerja, kepuasan kerja, kinerja

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dirancang guna mengoptimalkan kinerja pengrajin miniatur kapal kayu melalui peningkatan kemampuan dalam tatakelola keuangan, pemasaran dan modernisasi peralatan produksi. Sektor kerajinan ini mempunyai prospek usaha yang baik, mengingat tingkat persaingan rendah, pasar terbuka luas, efisien dalam proses produksi dan mampu menyerap tenaga kerja di Pedesaan. Efisiensi dapat dicapai karena sebagian material produksi memanfaatkan limbah pabrik. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan perpaduan pelatihan, pendampingan dan bantuan peralatan produksi. Pelatihan merupakan kegiatan penyampaian materi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan bidang tatakelola keuangan dan pemasaran. Selanjutnya dilakukan pendampingan untuk mengimplementasikan materi pelatihan dan sekaligus monitoring perkembangan pengrajin. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi, maka perlu diberikan bantuan peralatan produksi sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan kinerja bisnis. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pengrajin dalam tatakelola keuangan dan pemasaran, meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi serta meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produk.ABSTRACTThis community service activity is designed to optimize the performance of wooden boat miniature craftsmen through capacity building in financial management, marketing and modernization of production equipment. This handicraft sector has good business prospects, given the low level of competition, wide open market, efficient in the production process and able to absorb labor in the countryside. Efficiency can be achieved because some production material utilizes factory waste. The method of implementing this service uses a combination of training, assistance and production equipment assistance. Training is an activity to deliver material to improve knowledge and skills in the field of financial management and marketing. Further assistance was made to implement training materials and simultaneously monitor the development of craftsmen. In addition, to increase the quantity and quality of production, it is necessary to provide production equipment as part ofefforts to improve business performance. This service activity has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of craftsmen in financial and marketing governance, improving the efficiency of the production process and increasing the quantity and quality of products.

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the implementation of learning organization at small and medium enterprises (SMEs); the effects of learning organization on individuals’ ability; the effects of individuals’ ability on SMEs changes; and the effects of learning organization on changes of SMEs. The population of this research is all SMEs located in Malang and the samples are 298 SMEs taken through multi stages sampling. The primary data were collected using a questionare and interviews, whereas the secondary were obtain from relevant documents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and structural equational modelling (SEM). The results show that learning organization has a significant positive effect on individuals’ ability; the individuals’ ability has a significant positive effect on changes of SMEs; and learning organization has a significant positive effect on changes of SMEs, as indicated by C.R > 2 and value of P < 0,05.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe organizational cultural and style of leadership, analyzing organizational culture pursuant to style of leadership, analyzing organizational cultural influence to performance of lecture, and analyzing the direct and indirect influence of leadership style to the Private University lecturers’ performance. In taking the sample it uses multi stages of sampling with amount of sample as much 280 lectures. Data collecting uses questioner, interview and detection of relevant document; while analysis of data uses descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of research indicate that: style of authority leadership have a negativity effect and significant to organizational culture; style of democratic leadership and laissez faire have positive effect and significant to organizational culture; style of democratic and authoritarian leadership have a positive effect and significant to the lecturers’ performance; style of leadership laissez faire have a negative effect and significant to the lecturers’ performance; organizational cultural have a positive effect and significant to the lecturers’ performance; leadership authority and democratic style indirectly influence positively and significant to the lecturers’ performance; and leadership style of laissez faire indirectly negatively influences the lecturers’ performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to optimize the performance of SMEs managers of shoes financial governance, marketing and the ability to utilize technology and marketing information. Method of execution by combining classical training, mentoring and computer support to stimulate shoe business managers to implement training materials. Training and mentoring successfully improving the management capabilities of SMEs of shoes, although still not optimal, in the financial governance, marketing methods and website utilization for marketing.

Abstract

This community service project aims to improve the managerial performance of SMEs on accounting, marketing and services to their consumers. This objective is achieved through brushing up the managerial skills of the manager of the targeted SMEs, especially the financial and marketing skills, as well as their performance in providing consumer services. The expected outcomes are: SMEs’ managerial training, module and guidelines for applying accounting principles and providing good consumer services. The method used is the combination of common training principles, assistance and financial support for encouraging the targetted SMEs to implement the materials used in the training. The result of this project indicates that the targeted SMEs, that is, Selorejo tourists’ food stall, show improvement in their performance in accounting and consumer service.

Abstract

Nowadays, the concept of Islamic economics is an important part of global economic life. In the concept of Islamic economics, there is a concept of halal. The concept of halal in Islamic economics has been developed into various products including banking, hotels/lodging, insurance and tourism in term of syariah. Halal tourism is one of the new phenomena in the tourism sector. One of the tourist areas that developed this halal concept is Mount Bromo tourism. The development of the concept of halal tourism on Mount Bromo is very interesting to study in relation to the different characteristics between the majority of the population around Mount Bromo who are Hindus and the target tourists who are Moslem. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of attractions, amenities, and accessibility on the development strategy of Mount Bromo halal tourism. Attraction means anything that has uniqueness, beauty, and value in the form of a diversity of natural, cultural, and man-made wealth that is the target or purpose of a tourist visit. Amenities are various facilities that must be provided by a tourist destination. Accessibility is the ability to reach a certain tourist destination. This explanatory research was conducted in the tourist area of ​​Mount Bromo in 2019. The type of data in this study is qualitative which were processed into quantitative data. Data were collected through a questionnaire distribution method. The variables in this study were measured using a Likert scale. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using the SPSS 18 program (Statistical Product and Service Solution). The results of this study are: 1) Attraction variables have a positive and significant effect on the Development Strategy for halal tourism in Mount Bromo; 2) The amenities variable directly has a positive and significant effect on the Development Strategy for halal tourism in Mount Bromo; 3) The accessibility variable has a negative and insignificant effect directly on the Development Strategy for halal tourism in Mount Bromo; 4) The variables of attractions, amenities and accessibility together have a positive and significant effect on the development strategy of halal tourism in Mount Bromo.
