Abstract

One of the current trending phenomena is performances or celebratory activities that are enlivened by lighting fireworks. The ignition of fireworks is usually done using a remote firework lighter (firing system) or even manually if the lighter is having problems/not working. It is still possible for operator accidents to be burned by fireworks. In addition to security issues, remote fireworks lighters are quite expensive. Therefore, to avoid security problems and the relatively high price, it is necessary to create or build a firework launcher system that is safe and inexpensive. The purpose of this study is to create a firework launcher application system for dangdut orchestra performances using an Android-based Arduino. In this study, an application has been produced that can make it easier for operators of fireworks lighters in dangdut orchestras to light fireworks more safely and cheaply. This application has been running smoothly and without problems. The benefit of this research is that the results of this application design can be used as a reference for other related research in the future.

Abstract

The purpose from this research is to designing and to produces a mobile application of Encyclopedia which can give data information of related temple that they just visit. Research’s method is using waterfall method, the technique to collecting data using seconder data technique which temple’s data have been collected from book printed by Ministry of Education and Culture. Product from this research is temple’s visitor can get information about temple related with mobile by scanning qrcode.

Abstract

In practice, the Gems Identification Laboratory (GIL) process of recording gemstone authenticity certificates is still manually and data only stored on hard disk, making it easier to create fake certificate. because the certificate can be printed by anyone, and the certificate code cannot be verified by the gemstone buyer or user, when the user buys gemstones outside the area from the Lab location. User must also send a short message to the admin to verify the authenticity of the certificate document printed by the Lab. The method used in this study uses observational data collection. The system was tested using XAMPP software. The results of this study are a website based gemstone authenticity certificate information system that can make it easier for users to check certificates anywhere by using a code that will be traced on the website without having to come to the Lab. Lab admins can also input and save certificate data in the admin menu.

Abstract

Soil is a planting medium for farming which is used especially from the agricultural sector to produce various types of commodities from all types of plants. Meanwhile, there are several problems that occur in the middle of agriculture, one of which is the problem of soil acidity which results in a decline in crop yields which before the acidity of the soil did not have so many obstacles in farming. The purpose of this research is to produce an expert system application to diagnose suitable soil and plant types. The research method used is forward chaining, a method that seeks conclusions based on facts that are useful for farmers to be able to find out the ability of the type of soil they experience, so that farmers can handle the appropriate type of soil and plants. The results of this study use an expert system application that has been tested by several farmers to produce a diagnosis of the ability of the soil type so that it can determine the type of soil and plants that are suitable and also as a medium of consultation for farmers. So it can be concluded that the Forward Chaining Expert System is quite feasible to be used by users, in this case farmers, in diagnosing the ability of soil types.

Abstract

Geometry in particular the concept of distance is part of the metamatic science that is widely applied in the real world. The purpose of this research is to know the profile of distance understanding especially students high school student with normal IQ level in terms of gender difference. The research method used is explorative qualitative method, where the researcher as the main subject in the research. To describe the concept of distance, a study of four aspects, namely: 1) understanding aspect, 2) representation aspect, 3) non sample aspect, 4) application aspect to calculate distance. The results obtained from the study, female students in terms of understanding the concept of distance from line to line better than male students, while for the other three aspects, there is no significant difference between male students and female students. The results of this study differ from the results of previous research, which states that male students are better than female students in understanding the mathematical concepts. This result can give implication about opinion and treatment learning process for matemathics theacer’s, that nothing diferences for capacity mathematics as specially about distance concept line to line between male and female students.

Abstract

Currently the level of interest in reading in children is very low. They prefer to play gadgets rather than reading books to add insight and knowledge. By reading, they can see and understand the contents of the reading. Especially learning about various animals around the world, not those around the house or surroundings, which they may not recognize. The aim of the researcher is to help children to learn about the animals around them and the world. Instead of children just playing with gadgets, it's better if their gadgets are used as learning tools. The marker-based Augmented Reality (AR) method is used as a method of recognizing the animal, because it can provide an overview of 3D visual objects that can provide information to make it more attractive to children. And AR is able to provide appropriate information in the real world. This is because Augmented Reality can provide interactive and more efficient learning, because children not only learn theoretically, but also see objects being taught in 3 dimensions. In the study, it can be seen that Augmented Reality can be used as a medium for introducing animals around the house and the world, it is hoped that this application can then be developed for various platforms and can also contain more information about all animals in the world.

Abstract

Humans place a high value on physical appearance. An attractive appearance can increase a person's self-confidence. Hairstyles are one of several ways to achieve an attractive appearance. This implies that there is always a demand for barbershops. However, some traditional barbershops, like Mr. Abdi, use outdated techniques like hanging flyers for haircut models that are no longer relevant in this era. This has an effect on the very low level of interest among young people who use services provided by roadside barbershops. The objective of this study is to create applications that have a way of delivering information that is interactive and different from other modern barbershops using augmented reality (AR), which will be used as a medium for visualizing hairstyles. In this study, the markerless tracking method is used to display three-dimensional objects in various types of fields. This application was developed with Unity and Vuforia because the development process can be done quickly. Based on the results, the overall quality of the software is 84%, so it is feasible for mass use.

Abstract

Infrastructure development that continues to increase is one of the conveniences for the community to use the internet, which can access various digital content such as websites, chat, shopping, and others. More than half of the population in Indonesia accesses the internet every day, if it is used to make a product branding, it will be more time efficient and save costs. Books are one of the products that must exist in every generation because they are an important source of information in everyday events. This study aims to create a place for people who want to sell books that can make it easier for buyers or consumers. Utilizing a website that can speed up an activity and save time to sell or find books for sellers and consumers. This research was built using Python as a programming language, Flask Framework as a system framework, sqlite3 as data storage, and bootstrap 5 as a display foundation combined with style changes through CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Agile development is a method used to develop marketplace platforms. The result of this research is a web-based book rental and tenancy marketplace platform.

Abstract

PT PJB Services is a company engaged in power generation to provide operation and maintenance services for power generation units. In the process of carrying out its work, monitoring is needed, which is used for the benefit of project management so that the work carried out can be completed as expected so that employees can monitor the project's progress. The objectives of this study include facilitating the process of reporting project developments through the application website, minimizing errors in inputting monitoring updates in the project development process when data synchronization is carried out and integrating monitoring in the Niaga Project Division at PT PJB Services. In the development of this research, the researcher uses the BlackBox method, where the method is focused on the functionality side, especially on the input and output of the application; where this test is carried out at the end of making the application to find out whether the application can function correctly. The results obtained in this study are that the project administration monitoring information system can facilitate reporting of project administration monitoring data when needed and can assist in processing project data development and facilitate project monitoring in making decisions on project management.

Abstract

The pyramid is a pyramid-shaped building made of large, sturdy stones. The pyramids are always associated with the country of Egypt, which is indeed the country of origin for the emergence of the pyramid building which is a historical heritage building. Lack of information about the Egyptian pyramids makes it difficult for some people to know the contents and functions of the pyramids. To describe or visualize this building, researchers use Augmented Reality technology as a way to display an overview of the contents of the Egyptian pyramids formed with a 3D model that aims as a medium to make it easier for the public to find information about Egyptian buildings. The method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) which consists of Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, Distribution. In this study, researchers contributed to creating and developing an Augmented Reality application to introduce interior space in Egyptian buildings made in 3D using the Sketch Up tool. The results of this study are an android-based application that contains visualizations of the Egyptian pyramids and the rooms in the Egyptian pyramids and information about these buildings.
