Abstract

The business prospects and opportunities of the migrant workers’ (TKI) market are still wide open. This is shown by the year to year remittances incremental of TKI thatcorresponds to the beneficial opportunity of the business players to optimize their exploration of this market. In reality, the current efforts and strategy in this exploration,however, are still not utilised effectively in terms of competitive advantage. Therefore the initiative strategy towards product differentiation and innovation of the offered service should be explored and optimised based on the sustainable beneficial prospects for the business. As described briefly in this paper through a case of business innovation towards differentiation, the proposed strategies such as localization and two-sided markets are required for business organisations to unlock their product innovation strategies towards TKI (as their customer) through the innovative solution against the poverty.Keywords: TKI, remittance, poverty, differentiated, solution

Abstract

Mostly corporate social responsibility activities are programs generated that have nodirectly beneficial impacts to the business. In fact, those activities are merely thespace of philanthropy, so the business core existence as a profits seeker missed out totreat the market as a potential beneficial and advantage. The corporate social responsi-bility, however, which is mixed and derived by two-sided market, localization, buyingmode, and strategy value based, will drive the bottom of pyramid as a potential marketof the competitive advantage for company’s economic sustainable development andlong-term profits. In case of poverty (TKI), the companies can perform a strategybusiness for economic prospect and development through business innovation and/orinnovation of corporate social responsibility, and vice versa.Keywords: CSR, the bottom of pyramid, 2-sided market, localization, and compet-itive advantage

Abstract

This paper presents an alternative approach in vehicle dynamics study which has been designed and developed using virtual reality simulation. Vehicle dynamics is usually visualized using graphical representation of vehicle attitude. In this paper, virtual reality simulation was developed to make clearer visualization of vehicle dynamics behaviors. An 8 degree of freedom vehicle dynamics, power train, automatic transmission and tire were modeled, while computer simulation and animation in a virtual reality environment were built. Several vehicle maneuvers can be simulated and vehicle parameters can be selected. In the simulation, both transient and steady state behavior can be visualized. Rather than using graphical representation, this approach can be more interesting to study vehicle dynamics. Besides providing vehicle dynamics study, the simulation can make additional excitement during learning process.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di era globalisasi semakin cepat dan terus mengalami perkembangan, memotivasi dunia industri untuk menciptakan inovasi-inovasi baru. Khususnya di bidang industri otomotif. Pengetahuan di bidang otomotif dengan menganalisa pengaruh penggunaan sistem pengapian tanpa distributor, Tujuan yang ingin dicapai peneliti dari analisis ini adalah untuk menentukan kinerja sistem electronic spark advancer yang paling optimum Praktis dan langsung, relevan untuk situasi aktual dalam dunia kerja dan lapangan. Fleksibel dan adaftif, membolehkan perubahan - perubahan selama masa penelitian dan mengorbankan kontrol untuk kepentingan on the spot experimentation dan inovasi. Penulis melakukan analisa terhadap performansi motor bensin pada unit kendaraan ringan dengan menggunakan peralatan yang ada di BBPVP Bandung. Semakin meningkatnya ignition timing tidak selaras dengan putaran mesin, Daya pada rentang engine speed (rpm) dimana power tertinggi terdapat pada 5000 rpm percepatan 5 sebesar 1,4 kW Emisi CO terendah ada pada Ignition timing 48o dengan nilai 0% Injection time yang dihasilkan pada setiap percepatan dengan variasi rpm, pemakaian bahan bakar paling optimal terdapat pada putaran mesin 2000 Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rujukan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang otomotif khususnya tentang daya dan torsi yang dihasilkan motor bensin dengan variasi Ignition Timing. Diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya melakukan pengujian lebih lanjut terhadap emisi dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Advanced research perlu dilakukan berupa simulasi proses pengubahan data pada ECU (engine contol unit) sehingga dapat diidentifikasi proses flame propagation-nya .
