Abstract

Syafruddin Prawiranegara adalah Ekonom Muslim unik, tidak pernah mengenyam madrasah, namun memiliki pandangan bahwa bunga Bank tidak bertentangan bahkan harus sesuai ajaran Islam. Pendapatnya ini menjadi pembeda dengan para ulama lain yang memandang bunga Bank itu riba. Menurutnya sistim ekonomi Islam dengan sistim ekonomi pada umumnya terdapat perbedaan. Perbedaannya terletak pada kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi oleh ekonomi, perbedaan antara keperluan itu menyebabkan perbedaan pelaksanaan prinsip ekonomi, seperti adat kebiasaan, agama dan lain-lain. Motif ekonomi menurut Syafruddin adalah prinsip ekonomi itu relatif, maksudnya prinsip ekonomi bisa dipraktekkan sesuai dengan sebab tertentu yang mempengaruhinya. Pandangan Syafruddin terhadap bunga Bank dari kacamata modern-kontektualis, untuk mengidentifikasi makna sebuah lafal dalam sebuah ayat, dia perlu melihat lebih dulu kontek kata dan ayat tersebut, sehinga tidak terburu-buru mengidentifikasi riba sebagai bunga kredit atau pinjaman terutama oleh Bank. Menurutnya riba mirip dengan perdagangan, hanya saja karena terkandung kebatilan didalamnya maka ia diharamkan namun kata riba dalam ayat al-Qur’an tidak terkait dengan pinjaman dari lembaga keuangan seperti halnya Bank. Dengan kata lain, term riba lebih dekat dengan kontek transaksi jual beli ketimbang dengan transaksi pinjaman atau transaksi kredit dengan Bank yang notabene adalah lembaga keuangan modern. Pandangan Syafruddin ini banyak dipengaruhi oleh konsepsi kontektualis Fazlur Rahman dan Ahamad Hassan.

Abstract

Abstract This article discusses the importance of religious moderation in relation to the many cases of religious intolerance in Indonesia. In general, religious intolerance is caused by an excessive or exclusive attitude in religion. The concept of religious moderation in Indonesia refers to the Wasathiyyah Islamic Values (NISWA). These values include; Tasamuh (tolerance), Tawassuth (taking the middle way), Tawazun (balanced), I'tidal (straight and firm), Aulawiyyah (putting first or priority), Musawah (egalitarian), Shura (deliberation), Qudwatiyyah (pioneering), Muwathanah (nationalism), Ishlah (constructive), Ibtikar (innovative, creative), tathawwur (dynamic), and tahadlur (public civility). Washatiyyah Islamic values are implications of the teachings of "Rahmatan lil'alamin". For the implementation of washatiyyah Islamic values in the concept of religious moderation, it is important to collaborate with religious sociologists. This is because the perspective of the sociology of religion can help to provide an understanding of religious phenomena, especially the sociology of religion at this time has confirmed the vision of openness and broad-mindedness vision. Religious moderation (Islam washatiyyah) is the key to realizing a ssociety that is not extreme in religion and able to respect, understand, tolerate each other to create a peaceful and harmonious life among religious communities in Indonesia.The method used in this research is library research with a qualitative approach and perspective. sociology of religion.   Keywords: Religious Moderation, Al Quran and Hadith Value, Conflict Resolution

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to learn about the political and institutional model of village heads in East Java in building networks in their villages. The theory developed in understanding political networks was carried out by McCaffrey and Salerno (2011), where the special interests of political entrepreneurs dominate a pattern of political entrepreneurship, incentives from the system built, and awareness about changing political institutions. In addition to the theory development carried out by Wawan Sobari (2019), political entrepreneurship requires leadership based on Javanese cultural values ​​and religious practices. This study found a middle ground regarding the existence of political partnerships by village youth to build village political institutions. In addition, this study also found a critical community culture that was formed within the village head network. Interconnection patterns of various stakeholders form a political network capable of creating a solid image for the local village leadership model. In this paper, the authors try to expand the study of entrepreneurial politics, where networks are needed to support leadership behaviour.
