Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a collection of symptoms that occur in a person due to insufficient insulin hormone that can not work normally. DM can cause a variety of complications, and complications can also occur in pregnant women. Pregnant women who suffer from diabetes more likely to deliver larger babies (macrosomia). This can complicate the birth process may cause trauma of birth, even newborns having weight above the normal value can not cry or breathe spontaneously at birth or a regular basis. If this condition persists, the future can cause birth defects. If this condition can lead to prolonged mental or physical disability. This study aims to determine the percentage of pregnant women living with diabetes who delivered macrosomic infants. This research is a descriptive cross sectional study, the secondary data retrieval by record number of 100 medical records of pregnant women living with diabetes and non-diabetes who delivered macrosomic infants in RSAB Harapan Kita Jakarta during the period 2010-2011.The results showed the average age of pregnant women living with DM 33.5 years, gestational age 38.5 weeks, while glucose 167.5 mg / dL and the percentage of pregnant women living with diabetes with macrosomic infants born in RSAB. Harapan Kita Jakarta is 44.8%. DMG case in RSAB Harapan Kita Jakarta, prevalence was only 1.2%.There is no association between gestational diabetes mellitus with macrosomia (p-value 0.301)

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background : In early 2020, COVID-19 became a world health problem. On March 11, 2020, WHO has declared COVID-19 as a pandemic. The widespread spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in Indonesia has resulted in various prevention efforts being promoted, one of which is the obedient behavior of wearing masks. This is supported by a good level of knowledge about the use of masks. Therefore, it is necessary to instill understanding in students regarding the Covid-19 disease so that they can apply prevention efforts in everyday life. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to conduct counseling about the importance of preventing Covid-19 disease, especially related to the behavior of using masks. Objective: Increase knowledge through counseling about the use of masks in the prevention of Covid-19 disease to students of the D-IV Physiotherapy Study Program at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health, Jakarta III in 2021. Methods: In this program several activities are carried out including: Preliminary interviews, Identification of personnel, facilities and infrastructure, Extension activities on Friday, October 22, 2021, using the zoom meeting media. Results: The outreach activity was attended by 45 students, lasted for 90 minutes in the form of providing material on the behavior of using masks in an effort to prevent Covid-19 disease and participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss. Conclusion: community service activities in the form of counseling about the behavior of using masks were carried out well. Keywords : Knowledge, Use of Masks, Prevention of Covid 19 ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Pada awal tahun 2020, COVID-19 menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia. Pada tanggal 11 Maret 2020, WHO sudah menetapkan COVID-19 sebagai pandemi. Meluasnya penyebaran Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) di Indonesia mengakibatkan berbagai upaya pencegahan digalakkan, salah satunya dengan perilaku penggunaan masker yang patuh. Hal ini didukung oleh tingkat pengetahuan yang baik tentang penggunaan masker. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan penanaman pemahaman kepada para anak didik terkait penyakit Covid-19 agar dapat menerapkan upaya-upaya pencegahannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka perlu untuk dilakukannya penyuluhan tentang pentingnya melakukan upaya pencegahan penyakit Covid-19 khususnya terkait dengan perilaku penggunaan masker. Tujuan : Meningkatkan pengetahuan melalui Penyuluhan tentang penggunaan masker dalam pencegahan penyakit Covid-19 pada mahasiswa Program Studi D-IV Fisioterapi Poltekkes Kemenkes Jakarta III tahun 2021. Metode : Dalam program ini dilaksanakan beberapa kegiatan meliputi : Wawancara pendahuluan, Identifikasi tenaga, sarana dan prasarana, Kegiatan penyuluhan pada hari Jumat tanggal 22 Oktober 2021 menggunakan media zoom meeting. Hasil : Kegiatan penyuluhan diikuti oleh 45 orang mahasiswa, berlangsung selama 90 menit berupa pemberian materi tentang perilaku penggunaan masker dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit Covid-19 dan juga peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan tanya jawab dan berdiskusi. Kesimpulan : kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa penyuluhan tentang perilaku penggunaan masker terlaksana dengan baik. Katakunci: Pengetahuan, Penggunaan Masker, Pencegahan Covid 19
