Abstract

Latar belakang: jumlah penduduk terbanyak di dunia posisi ke-4 adalah Indonesia. Upaya untuk menekan jumlah pertumbuhan penduduk yaitu dengan program Keluarga Berencana (KB). Secara nasional pengguna KB yang paling banyak adalah KB suntik Depo Medroxy Progesteron Acetate (DMPA) yaitu lebih dari 50% dari jumlah peserta KB aktif. DMPA yang mengandung hormon Progesteron dapat mempengaruhi metabolisme lemak, khususnya lipoprotein. Lama pemakaian kontrasepsi suntik lebih dari 1 tahun akan mengakibatkan ketidak seimbangan hormon estrogen dan progesteron yang berakibat penurunan HDL dan peningkatan LDL sehingga akan meningkatkan kadar kolesterol total. Tujuan: diketahuinya hubungan antara lama penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik DMPA dengan kadar kolesterol total pada akseptor KB DMPA. Metode: jenis penelitian yang digunakan observasional analitik cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 35 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%.  Hasil: menunjukan bahwa nilai p sebesar 0,011 (p<0,05). Hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan antara lama penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik Depo Medroxy Progesteron Acetate (DMPA) dengan kadar kolesterol total pada akseptor KB. Sehingga semakin lama penggunaan kontrasepsi DMPA maka semakin meningkatkan kadar kolesterol. Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan antara lama penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik DMPA dengan kadar kolesterol total.

Abstract

From the previous study formalin in salted pepetek fish can be degraded by 66% after soaking in leri water for 60 minutes. The magnitude of formalin degradation depends on the type of salted fish and the concentration of leri water . This study aims to obtain an optimal immersion time from formalinized selar kuning salted fish, to produce maximum formalin degradation but still good in terms of organoleptic.Samples of selar kuning salted fish are made by soaking 2 kg of selar kuning fish in formalin 10% for 24 hours. Drained and re-soaked in 40% salt solution for 12 hours then dried under direct sun. Formaldehyde levels were determined after the sample was immersed in concentrated leri water with time variations (0.10, 20, 30 and 40) minutes. Measurement of formalin content was done colorimetrically with chromotropic acid reagent at λ 540 nm. Organoleptic selar kuning salted fish samples are still good after soaking 40 minutes inconcentrated leri water. The average content of formalin after soaking in concentrated leri water during (0, 10, 20, 30 and 40) minutes was (13.94, 11.44, 10.03, 10.82 and 13.31) ppm and its formalin degradation was (0, 17.92, 28, 22 and 4.48)%. When the immersion time is more than 20 minutes then the formalin content in the sample rises again due to re-forming the bond between aldehyde groups in formalin with proteins present in salted fish. The optimal immersion time in optimal concentrated water for selar kuning salted fish is 20 minutes resulting in 28% formalin degradation. For people who will consume selar kuning salted fish, before cooked first soak in leri water concentrated for 20 minutes and immediately removed from the water immersion

Abstract

Immature / total neutrophil (IT Ratio) is the ratio between the young and the total neutrofi neutrophils in peripheral blood smear preparations. Sepsis in neonates is a systemic inflammatory response syndrome that occurs as a result of an infection that can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites. Sepsis in the neonate can result in death, but the symptoms are non-specific that require fast and accurate diagnosis early. Increased IT Ratio can be used asan early detection of sepsis in neonates because of neutrophils is a non-specific immune response which first appeared in the process of infection (sepsis).The design method observational cross-sectional study with the aim to describe the IT Ratio in neonates with sepsis risk on Hermina Mother and Child Hospital,Ciputat. This study is based on literature data and medical records of patients who carry out checks on Hermina Mother and Child Hospital, Ciputat, from July to October 2015. The results of the secondary data on 80 patients who had sepsis risk gained an average age infants IT checks Ratio 1.7 days, the average maternal gestational age 38.3 weeks, an average of the results of IT Ratio 0.09, which affected risk factors for the mother experienced premature rupture of the frequency distribution of 2.5%, kemih1,2% tract infection, amniotic fluid hijau1,3%. By sex obtained group sex male 3 patients (3.6%) were the result ofincreased IT ratio, whereas female gender group 1 patients (1.3%) Conclusion: The increased IT Ratio> 0.2 (sepsis) of 4 patients 5.0% and for IT normal Ratio <0.2 as many as 76 patients 95.0%. IT ratios can be used for early detection of sepsis in neonates.

Abstract

The prevalence of patients renal failure is quite high due to factors of unhealthy lifestyle, food, herbal medicines, microorganisms and other toxic materials nefro. To determine the damage of kidney function can be carried out uric acid and creatinine laboratory tests, whereas for monitoring can be done by checking electrolytes including potassium, calcium and phosphorus levels inorganic. Normality value of calcium and inorganic phosphorus has a reciprocal relationship and called pathognomonic. The purpose of this study was to determine its relationship with the percentage of potassium, calcium and inorganic phosphorus in patients. The research using secondary data, with a total sample of 102 medical records from the patients with renal failure in East Jakarta Islamic Hospital from January to December 2012. The results of this study in men as much as 71.57 % and by as much as 28.43 % of women who experienced a 14 % hypokalemia , hyperkalemia 5 % with an average value of 4.15 mEq / L, 10 % experienced hypocalcemia , hypercalcemia 38 % and the average value of 4.61 mg / dL , while 41 % were experiencing hypophosphatemia , hyperphosphatemia 10 % and the average value of 9.01 mg / dL. After Kendall correlation test value 0.017 is obtained which shows there is a correlation between the levels of Calcium to Inorganic Phosphorus Levels.

Abstract

Merokok menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kesehatan tubuh salah satunya menyebabkan kerusakan pada struktur sel hati, ditandai dengan keluarnya enzim yang paling baik dalam menilai fungsi hati yaitu kelompok aminotransferase serum yang meliputi AST dan ALT, dan kadarnya meningkat pada peredaran darah. Aktivitas merokok dapat dilihat dari usia perokok, jenis rokok, jumlah rokok dalam sehari, lama merokok, dan derajat merokok. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara aktivitas merokok dengan kadar aminotransferase serum pada perokok aktif. Metode penelitian  menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Data yang digunakan adalah data skunder berasal dari penelitian yang telah dipublikasi pada jurnal ilmiah. Hasil penelitian diperoleh  usia perokok termuda pada usia 21 tahun, jenis rokok terbanyak rokok filter dan kretek, jumlah rokok dikonsumsi sebanyak 1-10 batang/hari, lama merokok terbanyak  lebih dari 5 tahun, dan derajat merokok terbanyak dalam kelompok ringan-sedang. Kadar aminotransferase serum sebagian besar mengalami peningkatan, baik kadar AST maupun ALT. Kesimpulan ada hubungan aktivitas merokok dengan kadar aminotransferase serum, dan tidak ada hubungan usia perokok dengan kadar aminotransferase serum. Peningkatan kadar aminotransferase serum pada perokok terjadi < 2x nilai normal, peningkatan yang terjadi hanya dalam batas 2-70 % dari normal.Kata kunci : Aktivitas merokok; aminotransferase serum; AST dan ALT
