Abstract

This study intended to determine the background of learning motivation of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) students. Besides knowing how to handle ADHD students and whatever factors that influence learning motivation. This was a qualitative descriptive study and the research subjects comprised 5 ADHD students, parents and homeroom teachers. The research instrument used observation sheets, interview sheets, and cameras. Data analysis technique was done by obtaining data from the field going to observation, interviews, and documentation, data reduction, data presentation then drawing conclusions. The sampling technique uses snowball sampling techniques and uses source triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the background of ADHD students' learning motivation tends to be minimal compared to students. Due to the condition of ADHD students have three symptoms, hyperactivity, intention and impulsivity. With this symptom condition, ADHD students must get a special approach such as more attention and be able to handle it without taking rough actions or punishing because it can affect the mental condition in ADHD students.

Abstract

This research aims to know how teachers understand and awareness about the importance of utilizing the environment as a learning resource and to know how the teacher's strategy in implementing the environment as a medium and learning resources for the children in the Kindergarten Alifia. This study uses a qualitative method approach with a type of case study study. Case study research, concentrating intensively on one particular object that learns it as a case. From the results of the study get that: 1) teacher understanding of the importance of using the environment as a source of learning in early childhood is good enough. 2) before implementing the learning process that utilizes the environment as a learning resource, teachers need to prepare from the stage of activity planning, implementation of activities and follow up as an evaluation of the activities undertaken. 3) The constraints most often experienced by teachers during the implementation of learning by utilizing the environment as a learning resource is the time it takes to be longer and companion children who sometimes do not compare to the number of children.

Abstract

Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) diharapkan agar proses pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan sehingga anak betah,tidak merasa bosan dan fokus dalam belajar. Walaupun telah diketahui bahwa Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) sangat menunjang bagi terlaksananya proses belajar yang efektif namun perlu mengkreatifitaskan lebih banyak variasi di sekolah dalam menggunakan Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar anak, pengabdi akan menerapkan suatu tindakan dalam bentuk penggunaan media Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) disiapkan oleh guru sesuai dengan kebutuhan pokok bahasan yang akan diajarkan pada anak dan didapat dengan mudah bisa gunakan bahan dari tersedia dibeli, barang bekas ataupun dalam bentuk kreatifitas lain yang bisa dibentuk, dibuat, digunakan dan dimanfaatkan terutama guru memiliki keahlian keterampilan untuk hal tersebut perlu membekali diri dari sosialisai, pelatihan dan seminar untuk belajar lagi dan memuntut hal baru dari ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan hasil dari sosialisai tersebut adalah berjalan dengan lancar dan tercapainya salah satu cara pilihan untuk dapat membantu dan saling memberikan kebermanfaatan bersama dalam kemajuan dibidang pendidikan anak usia TK terutama usia 5 sampai 6 tahun dalam memotivasi mereka selain guru, peserta didik juga pihak lain yang berkepentingan dalam memajukan dunia pendidikan agar anak anak yang merupakan bagian dari nantinya sebagai penerus bangsa merupakan anak anak yang cerdas selain kognitifnya, keterampilannya juga prilaku serta wawasan dan pengembangan dirinya yang dimiliki berguna dan bermanfaat kelak nantiya baik bagi dirinya orang lain lingkungan dan negara tentunya.

Abstract

Inculcating a frugal lifestyle from an early age in children is very important to be applied by parents. Frugal living is not always related to money, but frugal living can include many things. For example, saving on water and electricity. Parents need to set an example and a good understanding of the concept in moderation and do not need to overdo it when they want or use something. However, instilling frugal living behavior in early childhood is not an easy job. Because in reality, not a few parents complain that they have to spend a lot of pocket money on their children. But on the other hand, sometimes parents also don't have the heart to refuse their child's wishes. Therefore, parents need to understand what tricks need to be done in instilling the habit of living frugal behavior in children from an early age.

Abstract

A teacher must be creative, and professional in creating fun learning for their students in an effort to grow and develop the potential of their students. One form of creativity that teachers need to develop as potential in themselves is creativity in storytelling. Teacher creativity in storytelling is a very important skill for an early childhood education teacher to develop in himself as capital in facilitating fun learning according to the needs of his students. Therefore, teachers must hone their storytelling skills by using props or not using props. One of the efforts that teachers can make to improve their storytelling skills is to take part in storytelling training and storytelling competitions.

Abstract

Learning resources are an inseparable part of children's learning activities and are very helpful in child development. The environment that surrounds us is one source that can be used to support learning activities optimally. Learning that makes the environment an object of learning can provide real and direct experience to students, especially for early childhood who still think from concrete things. The teacher's role is to plan children's learning activities and recommend media and learning resources that can be used. Then it is carried out by the children, accompanied by their parents as facilitators and motivators. Armed with creativity, parents can take advantage of the environment as a source of learning; no need to go to buy expensively, the environment adjacent to the house can be optimized to become a learning resource that is very valuable for the learning interests of students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the nuances of children carrying out prayer services from an early age. Habituation that is continuously carried out can contribute to character building. In this case, it is parents who play a major role in helping children's development, including the issue of worship. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in instilling the habit of praying in children from an early age. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by observation and interview methods with 5 research subjects of Muslim parents who had children aged 5-10 years. In this study, it was found that several ways were used by parents to sell in educating the habit of praying in children, namely through exemplary by giving examples, giving advice, giving attention and supervision and giving awards or punishments if they did not pray as a Muslim obligation. Give punishment aims to improve and pious children.

Abstract

Learning media is a component that contributes to the implementation of the learning process at the education unit level. The role of the media in learning, especially in early childhood education (PAUD) is very important, considering the development of children at that time was in a period of concrete thinking. However, there are still teachers who think that the role of the media in the learning process is only as a tool and may be ignored when the media is not available in schools. Even though the learning media used in the early childhood learning process should not be obtained from the store by buying. However, teachers and parents can create their own media. One solution that can overcome this condition is that it is necessary to conduct a training in making creative, attractive and easily available media in a nature-based environment. The community service activities carried out in the form of socialization and training in making learning media based on natural materials provide benefits for training participants, including: 1) For Teachers: Adding insight and increasing teacher creativity in preparing learning media by utilizing natural materials-based materials. 2) For Parents: Gained insight and experience to be more creative and innovative in assisting children to be creative in making a work (learning media) by utilizing materials that can be obtained from the natural surroundings. 3) For Children (students): Increase their self-confidence to be more skilled in performing work in creating a work (media) by collaborating with their respective parents/guardians. Abstract

In managing references for writing scientific papers, sometimes writers are faced with various problems, one of which is in searching for literature, citing references and making a bibliography. This service aims to train the use of the Mendeley application as a reference manager in writing scientific papers for PG-PAUD students at Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda. It is hoped that after attending Mendeley's workshop, students can manage bibliography and make citations easily. The target participants in this workshop are all PG PAUD UWGM students but it is mandatory for final semester students who will and are already in the process of preparing their final project (thesis). The method for implementing this Mendeley workshop is online using the Zoom application. The technique of this activity is by presenting the material, giving examples, practice and evaluating the results of the training. The result of this training is that students are able to do citations and create a bibliography automatically on the task of making articles as an evaluation material for this workshop activity.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing creativity in early childhood anywhere, anytime, and under any conditions. The Covid-19 pandemic is not an obstacle to being productive and creative. Precisely because more activities are carried out at home, a lot of time can be used to be closer to family. The role of the family is inseparable in helping the development and growth of children, including in helping children develop creativity. The purpose of this study was to find out parents' strategies in developing early childhood creativity during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews with 5 research subjects, parents who had early childhood as respondents. To check the validity of the data, triangulation techniques are used so that the research data obtained can be scientifically justified. The steps in the analysis of research data are reduction, presentation of data, then drawing conclusions in response to the formulation of the problem. The results of this study indicate that parents play a role in developing children's creativity during the co-19 pandemic. Several strategies were carried out by parents so that the development of children's creativity would continue to develop during a pandemic as it is today, such as building children's self-confidence through an attitude of acceptance and respect for children, providing opportunities for children to express and explore, providing sufficient time and space for playing and doing assignments, observing and supporting activities that children are interested in, establishing good cooperation with children, creating a pleasant home environment, and facilitating media (means) that can support the development of children's creative potential.
