Abstract

This research described the implementation of character education in Cipari Islamic Boarding School in Garut City that involved 1 Kyai, 1 Ustadz, and 2 santri. The main problem of this research was: How was the implementation of character education in the Cipari Islamic Boarding School in Garut City? In detail, the main problems was described in the form of research questions as follows: 1) Why was character education carried out in Cipari boarding schools? 2) How was the implementation of character education in the Cipari boarding school in Garut City? 3) What factors influence the implementation of character education in the Cipari boarding school in Garut City? This reseacrh method was a case study with a qualitative approach. The data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. Data was analyzed in several stages, namely: organizing data, describing it into units, synthesizing, arranging into patterns, choosing the important one to analysed and making the conclusions. The findings of this study indicated that there were five reasons underlying Cipari boarding schools carrying out character education to their students; Cipari boarding schools did not have a written program on character education but Cipari boarding schools implemented it through the application of rules and sanctions (nidzomul ma'had), habituation, reward, and a 24-hour education system, source of value, and evaluation; and there were two factors that influenced the implementation of character education in Cipari boarding schools, namely supporting and inhibiting factors.

Abstract

Pancasila merupakan ideologi, landasan, alat pemersatu bangsa dan mengandung cita-cita, harapan dan tujuan bersama yang harus dicapai oleh bangsa dan negara Indonesia. Pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di negara Indonesia menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab pudarnya nilai-nilai Pancasila. Hal ini berdampak buruk bagi generasi muda penerus bangsa. Pengenalan lambang Garuda Pancasila dan penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila dapat dilakukan melalui Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan lambang Garuda Pancasila dan menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada anak usia dini. Membangkitkan semangat pengamalan Pancasila. Mengatasi pudarnya pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur atau kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengenalan lambang Garuda Pancasila melalui media gambar sangat efektif. Pendidik juga dapat menjelaskan makna yang terkandung dalam lambang Garuda Pancasila. Lambang Garuda Pancasila memiliki makna yang sangat kompleks dari mulai kerangka, semboyan, warnam jumlah bulu dan perisai.

Abstract

In an effort to form a quality generation, character education must be carried out from an early age. This article will describe the four magic words in the formation of children’s character in social life. This article was created to be a guide in everyday life and educated children to behave in social life in accordance with the values of correct behavior. This article uses research methods based on library research. Data collection techniques carried out ini research 1) reading, 2) taking notes, 3) processing research materials in achieving relevant results. Collection of primary data in this study from 17 articles and 1 book. The results of this study: First, the habit of using the word ”Sorry” is done through the guidance of parents or eduators. Second, the habit of saying the word ”thank you” is done by giving examples of activities for children to always say the word thank you. Third, the habituation of using the word ”please” is carried out through batuation activities by giving examples to children. Fourth, the habit of saying the word ”Excuse me” is done by giving understanding to children.

Abstract

Social science is one of the important lessons for early childhood development, helping children to be able to understand how the world functions, starting from the environment they are in, culture and community. Through this learning children can develop an understanding of themselves and their relationships with others and build the social skills needed in everyday life. There are several methods for implementing social studies learning for early childhood, one of which is by using the outing class method. With this outing class method, children will get direct experience, such as visiting historical places, watching cultural performances and so on. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques by observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the research that the researchers got were about the implementation of social science learning through outing classes in PUI Women's Kindergarten.   ABSTRAK Ilmu pengetahuan sosial merupakan salah satu pembelajaran penting untuk pengembangan anak usia dini, membantu anak untuk dapat memahami bagaimana dunia berfungsi, mulai dari lingkungan tempat mereka berada, kebudayaan dan komunitas. Melalui pembelajaran ini anak dapat mengembangkan pemahaman tentang diri mereka sendiri dan hubungan mereka dengan orang lain serta membangun keterampilan sosial yang diperlukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Ada beberapa metode untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran IPS kepada anak usia dini, salah satunya dengan menggunakan metode outing class. Dengan metode outing class ini anak akan mendapatkan pengalaman langsung seperti mengunjungi tempat-tempat yang bersejarah, menonton sebuah pertunjukan budaya dan lain sebaginya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Adapun hasil penelitian yang peneliti dapatkan yaitu tentang implementasi pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial melalui outing class di TK Wanita PUI.

Abstract

Payung geulis bukan hanya merupakan kerajinan tangan yang indah, tetapi juga simbol keberlanjutan budaya Tasikmalaya. Penulis mendiskusikan asal usul, bentuk, dan nilai-nilai kultural dan estetika payung geulis serta menjelaskan bagaimana payung geulis dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Payung geulis adalah kerajinan khas Kota Tasikmalaya yang memiliki makna mendalam sebagai simbol perlindungan, kebersamaan, dan kesetiaan. Proses pembuatan payung geulis melibatkan tradisi turun temurun di masyarakat Tasikmalaya. Motif dan struktur payung geulis mengandung nilai estetika yang khas, menciptakan peluang bagi anak-anak untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan motorik halus anak. Penggunaan payung geulis sebagai alat pembelajaran memiliki potensi besar untuk mengenalkan kearifan lokal kepada generasi mendatang. Integrasi payung geulis ke dalam pendidikan anak usia dini dapat memperkuat rasa identitas budaya kepada anak dan memperkaya pengalaman pembelajarannya.
