Abstract

Photovoltaic as a renewable source of electrical energy is utilized at University of Bangka Belitung (UBB) as a source of additional electrical energy. With a capacity of 280 Wp per unit, the photovoltaic performance needs to be maintained so that their performance is getting better. After cleaning with cleaning fluid, the photovoltaic voltage output has increased from 13.7 - 16.8 volt to 17.4 - 22.6 volt. After cleaning the photovoltaic, the current output also increased from 0.33 - 1.8 A to 1.5 - 7.6 A. The real power generated also increased from 4.5 - 29.7 Watt to 26 - 164 Watt

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji kelayakan instalasi listrik di gedung Fakultas Teknik Universitas Bangka Belitung. Metode yang digunakan adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor pengujian, observasi, dokumentasi dan pengukuran. Parameter yang digunakan untuk pengujian yaitu, tahanan isolasi, resistansi pembumian, luas penampang penghantar, dan pengaman instalasi (MCB) dengan mengacu kepada Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL) 2011. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan luas penampang penghantar  memenuhi standar kelayakan dengan nilai kurang dari 1,5 mm2, tahanan isolasi juga memenuhi standar dengan nilai besar dari 1,0 MΩ, resistansi pembumian  yang tidak memenuhi standar kelayakan karena nilainya lebih besar dari 5 Ω, serta pengaman (MCB) yang kondisi fisiknya masih dalam keadaan baik dan layak digunakan

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini terkandung unsur pembuktian dan eksperimen yang lengkap mengenai pengambilan keputusan pemakaian panel surya tipe monocrystalline dan polycrystalline khususnya di kota Pangkalpinang, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Pengambilan data antara kedua panel surya yang dibandingkan dilakukan selama 30 hari (23 September 2020 – 22 Oktober 2020) melalui berbagai macam cuaca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihat dan menganalisa pemilihan tipe panel surya yang cocok (monocrystalline atau polycrystalline, masing – masing 250 Wp dengan merek yang sama) untuk kota Pangkalpinang agar dapat meningkatkan suplai energi yang lebih tepat dan efisien. Penggunaan arduino untuk mengambil data pada panel surya dimaksudkan agar data yang didapatkan nantinya bisa lebih akurat dan terpetakan dengan baik jika dibandingan dengan apabila data diambil secara manual dengan cara dicatat. Hasil pengujian menyatakan bahwa panel surya jenis monocrystalline lebih baik dibandingkan polycrystalline dengan perbedaan energi yang dihasilkan sebesar 4.9%.

Abstract

Information regarding the presence and absence of a person requires a data retrieval process either manually or using electronic media. The process of taking attendance and absence data is currently still done manually with an attendance machine or using an attendance sheet that must be signed by lecturers and students. Utilization of smartphone technology can be a substitute for the manual attendance system which is currently still applied in lectures. This lecturer and student attendance application is designed to be accessible online using Android as a media interface and a cloud server as a data storage medium (database). This attendance application is named PresTE (Presensi Teknik Elektro) and this application can be used without having to use an existing attendance machine and the use of this online presence application can be done on the smartphone of each lecturer and student as long as the lecturer and student are still in the building area. lectures or within the scope of a pre-arranged area.

Abstract

The Waste Power Plant is one of the power plants with a new renewable energy concept that utilizes waste as fuel. The processing of waste into electrical energy is carried out in two ways: the thermal conversion process and the biological conversion process to find the potential for waste that can be used as fuel to generate electricity. The analysis is needed, especially for Pangkalpinang, which currently has a lot of unprocessed waste. This research was conducted through calculations using several formulas that have been used in previous studies. From these results, the potential waste in 2015 is 97.25 tons/day and produces energy of 18548.10 MWh/year, and in 2020, it was about 186.57 tons/day and produced energy of 35547.18 MWh/year. The projection calculations are carried out to determine the potential for 2021 to 2030. Waste as much as 182523 tons/day in2021 can produce energy of as much as 34776.11 MWh/year. And in 2030, the amount of waste as much as 218132 tons/day can generate an energy potential of 41560.69 MWh/year.

Abstract

Since the beginning of 2020, the world has faced an outbreak of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). Corona virus can be transmitted when someone touches nose, mouth or eyes after touching a surface that has been contaminated with the virus from a person who coughs or sneezes. To prevent contracting COVID-19, one way that can be done is to get used to washing hands with soap and running water, especially when in public places. With the automatic hand washing equipment, people do not need to touch the water tap to wash their hands, thus minimizing the possibility of spreading the virus. The hand washing device is made consisting of a water tap that can flow water automatically when an ultrasonic sensor captures hand movements around the mouth of the faucet and a water reservoir that can be filled automatically based on the reading of the water level by the ultrasonic sensor. This automatic hand washing tool has been used in sub-district office and mosque in Bukit Merapin sub-district, Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

Loading between phases must always be considered in order to reduce the imbalance, which results in an increase in neutral current and loss of conductor power. Non-linear loads can cause harmonics that affect the increase in copper losses in the transformer. Harmonics can cause distortion of the voltage and current waveforms, so attention must be paid to the specified limits so as not to interfere with the performance of electrical equipment. In addition, these parameters can affect the main electrical parameters, so they must be considered at the specified limits. This study aims to analyze the condition of load imbalance, harmonic content, and the effect on power loss in distribution transformers at Universitas Bangka Belitung. Parameters were measured using a Meterel Power Meter Analyzer type MI 2592 Power Q4 for ten days with the comparative method as a data analysis method. The average current unbalanced percentage is 9.91%, with the highest value at 24.31%. Energy due to power loss in the neutral conductor is 0.46 kWh/10 days, and the total conductor loss is 18.122 kWh/10 days.

Abstract

A classic problem that hinders farmers from spraying herbicide liquids because they still use a herbicide liquid sprayer system in amanual way. This research aims to produce electric herbicide sprayers that are efficient and effective for the community, as well as to engenalize and utilize renewable energy as energy that is easy to obtain and environmentally friendly, especially in agriculture. The sources produced by the 20Wp solar panels are in the form of Voltage, Current, Power and Electrical Energy. Solar panel measurements are taken for 7 days, starting from 08.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB. The results obtained for the largest average values of Voltage, Amperes, and Power were on day 7 where the Voltage was 13.72V, Current was 0.43A, and Power was 5.88W. S. Sexplained for the average value of the largest Electrical Energy was on day 2 and day 5 of 0.60Wh. The effect in taking solar panel data in this study was Light Intensity, with the largest average n ilai being on the 7th day, which was 905.8 W/m2. The manufacture of electric herbicide sprayers based on 20 Wp solar panels has been carried out with very effective results and functions in accordance with the purpose of making tools, namely introducing renewable energy as alternative energy that is easily available, especially in agriculture

Abstract

Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands has the potential for palm oil commodities which contribute to the economy. Palm oil processing produces biomass waste such as shells, fibers, and empty fruit bunches. Biomass in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands has a potential of 217.7 MW. CO₂ emissions are mostly from burning fossil coal where the CO₂ produced is dangerous. Alternatives are needed to reduce these CO₂ emissions. One of them is biomass. This plan uses a forecasting method to get an estimate of the energy potential of palm oil waste in 2022-2032 in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands and CO₂ emissions generated from palm oil waste energy. By using modeling, evaluating methods, forecasting, and calculating energy potential as well as CO₂ emissions from biomass, it can be concluded that the projected energy potential of palm oil waste from 2022 to 2032 will increase every year and can help fulfill regional energy requirements for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. In 2025 the energy produced by 15.29 thousand TOE can help meet the energy requirement of 27.91 thousand TOE 2025. In 2030 the energy produced by 28.12 thousand TOE can help fulfill 46.79 thousand TOE of energy 2030. CO₂ emissions The amount of biomass from palm oil waste in 2022-2032 is increasing every year along with the increase in energy produced from palm oil waste biomass. Abstract

  Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam kepada pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) tentang berbagai aspek kewirausahaan digital, mulai dari teknik pemasaran online, pengelolaan toko online, hingga dasar-dasar e-commerce. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu: identifikasi masalah melalui kunjungan ke Kelurahan Kacang Pedang, menetapkan tugas pokok antara pihak penyelenggara dan penerima PkM, pelaksanaan sosialisasi, dan bimbingan teknis dalam penggunaan platform digital seperti Canva, Facebook, Shopee, Tokopedia, dan Gojek. Pelatihan akademi kewirausahaan digital diberikan bagi 20 UMKM di Kelurahan Kacang Pedang. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi transformasi digital pada sejumlah UMKM yang sebelumnya belum memahami dan menggunakan platform digital dalam memasarkan produknya, setelah diberikan pelatihan peserta UMKM telah mampu membuat toko online melalui platform digital.
