Abstract

Education according to Islam is an effort so that people recognize and acknowledge God's place in this life. As educators, the main thing as parents is to prepare their children to be pious and pious children because the education they get will be their survival in the future as Prophet Ibrahim educated his children because he knew how important science was. And as Lukman al-Hakim educates his children with advice and gentle words (wisdom). Meanwhile, the focus of the research discussed in this study are: (1) What educational values ??are contained in the story of Prophet Ibrahim and Lukman al-Hakim? (2) What is the strategy for instilling these values? (3) What are the implications for the development of education in Indonesia? To achieve this goal, the researcher uses a research method with a philosophical approach. This type of research is library research, namely research whose main object is books or other library sources. That is, data is sought and found through a literature review of books or other sources relevant to the discussion. The results of this study are: (1) The concept of Children's Education in the Story of the Prophet Ibrahim, namely: a. Rational (When Seeking God), b. Tawhid/Belief (Seeing a bird that is turned on), c. Istiqomah (When it is about to be burned), d. Dare to Speak the Truth (Against King Namrud), e. Patient and Not Desperate, (Asking for Descendants), f. Words and Sincerity (Slaughtering Ismail). (2) The concept of children's education in the story of Lukman al-Hakim, namely: a. Prohibition of Associating Associates with Allah, b. Glorifying Parents and Gratitude, c. Be Careful in Acting Because Every Action Gets a Reply, d. Establishing a Sholet (Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar), e. Abstract

Abstract The orientation of this article is to investigate and examine more deeply the meaning of the balance score card, aspects of the balance score card and its implementation in the perspective of quality assurance of Islamic education. In this paper, the author tries to analyze more deeply and systematically in implementing new management strategies that can encourage quality improvement in institutions by using a balanced score card approach based on Islamic principles. The type of research in this article uses a library research approach in which data collection techniques are obtained from various primary references and secondary data which are then reduced and keyed. Research results: (1). Application of Balance Score Card in Islamic Education Quality that is balanced both financially (profit) and non-financially (non-profit), (2). Standardization of Performance Measures from the Perspective of the Balance Score Card (in terms of finance, customers, internal business processes and learning and growth). With a comprehensive performance measurement that does not only measure financial but combines financial and non-financial measures, educational institutions can carry out better organizational performance. Keywords: Balance Score Card; Quality Assurance; Islamic Education. Abstrak Orientasi artikel ini untuk menyelisik dan menelaah lebih dalam makna balance score card, aspek balance score card dan implementasinya dalam perspektif penjaminan mutu Pendidikan Islam. Dalam tulisan ini penulis mencoba menganalisis lebih dalam serta sistematis dalam menerapkan strategi manajemen baru yang dapat mendorong peningkatan mutu di lembaga dengan menggunakan pendekatan balance score card disandari dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Jenis penelitian dalam artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan Library research yang mana teknik pengumpumlan data diperoleh dari pelbagai referensi  primer dan sekunder yang kemudian data direduksi dan disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian: (1). Penerapan Balance Score Card dalam Mutu Pendidikan Islam yang secara seimbang baik secara financial (profit) dan non-financial (non-profit), (2). Standarisasi Ukuran Keberhasilan Kinerja Perspektif Balance Score Card (dalam aspek keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal dan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan). Dengan pengukuran kinerja yang komprehensif tidak hanya mengukur keuangan tetapi menggabungkan ukuran keuangan dan non-keuangan, lembaga pendidikan dapat menjalankan kinerja organisasi yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Balance Score Card; Penjaminan Mutu; Pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the "Talking Stick" type learning model on improving Mufrodat (Arabic Vocabulary) learning in junior high school students. In this study, researchers used research based on Quasi-Experimental studies by dividing students into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. This research is based on several complex problems, namely Arabic learning is still considered as one of the difficult and boring subjects. The results showed that by using the "Talking stick" type of learning model, mufrodat learning in students increased compared to applying the conventional learning model to generally. With this research, it is expected to be a motivation for educators at every level of education to continue and continue to innovate in every application of learning by Models that vary and adapt to the technology of the era that exists today.

Abstract

Not everyone has an entrepreneurial spirit, but it can be cultivated through various means. Many institutions strive to find solutions for instilling an entrepreneurial mindset in students, one of which is Nurul Izzah Islamic Elementary School in Malang City. This research method is qualitative, employing a case study approach, in which the researcher will delve deeper into information regarding the school's efforts to instill entrepreneurship in students through Market Day activities at Nurul Izzah Islamic Elementary School in Malang City. The objectives of this study are as follows: 1) To explain the efforts in instilling an entrepreneurial spirit. 2) To understand the cultivation of an entrepreneurial spirit through Market Day. 3) To analyze the efforts in instilling an entrepreneurial spirit through Market Day at Nurul Izzah Islamic Elementary School in Malang City. The findings of the research are as follows: 1) The cultivation of an entrepreneurial spirit can be achieved through training and education. 2) The cultivation of an entrepreneurial spirit through Market Day involves teachers, students, and parents, with the aim of developing marketing skills. 3) The cultivation of an entrepreneurial spirit through Market Day at Nurul Izzah Islamic Elementary School in Malang City is implemented through three stages: the production stage, providing information to parents and the entire school community as stakeholders, and the marketing stage. However, the implementation is not entirely supported, as there are both internal and external inhibiting factors.

Abstract

A parenting approach is used by Islamic boarding schools to raise generations with Islamic values. 24-hour complete life education is inextricably linked to the parenting approach used to mold the character of female students. This study aims to describe parenting patterns in shaping the character of female students, which includes parenting patterns in shaping the character of female students and methods for character development for female students at PMD Gontor Putri Campus 1. This study employs descriptive qualitative research methods. Interviews, observation, and documentation are all forms of data collecting, while strategies for data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing. First, the study's findings indicate that there are four factors that influence parenting success and how it affects how female students behave. Second, in order for parenting styles to be successfully applied in developing students' character, a method must be used. The third strategy is to integrate three educational institutions (family, school, and community education) into one program to accomplish educational objectives in the development of female students' character. This strategy aims to create an integrative, comprehensive, and independent education system.

Abstract

Supervision is often considered scary by employees or teachers. In fact, there is important supervision in an institution, including Islamic educational institutions so that they can be assessed and evaluated for the better in accordance with their standards. The study aims to examine more deeply to determine the urgency of educational supervision based on the interpretation of Q.S. Ali Imran: 29 and Q.S Al-Isra': 84. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach, with the main data source of the Quran, and is supported by books, books, articles and websites. Data analysis techniques with reduction, data models and conclusions. The result of this study is that the urgency of educational supervision is indeed important because Allah alone in supervising his creatures has been explained in Q.S Ali Imran: 29 and Al-Isra': 84, there is supervision for assessment and giving proper reply to creatures, but in the context of institutions in the world for the work efforts of employees and teachers (educational institutions), as well as the function of supervisors as people who are more experienced in assessing is also important for evaluation and measuring the extent to which standards that have been met.

Abstract

An important aspect that must be mastered when using language as a means of communication is vocabulary. The vocabulary in Arabic is called mufradat. As a foreign language for Indonesian students, many varied methods are needed to influence students' interest in learning. So that students will feel happy and will not feel bored in learning Arabic mufradat. This research is quasi-experimental. Research data was collected based on the academic results of even and odd semesters. Researchers use pre-test and post-test instruments in every aspect of mufradat assessment. The results of this study concluded that the application of singing methods is effective in mastering Arabic mufradat. Before applying the singing method in odd semesters, the average student test results showed 48.00, while after applying the singing method in even semesters, they reached 89.57. In addition, the N-gain score is included in the high category, which is 0.8138, or 81.38%. This study only focused on improving student learning outcomes based on memorization, pronunciation, and fluency. Then subsequent research can examine other aspects of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan atau entrepreneursip telah banyak dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan formal hingga pondok pesantren. Banyak pesantren yang menjalankan program entrepreneur bagi para santrinya untuk membekali soft skill atau kemampuan berwirausaha setelah pulang kampung atau hidup bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan usaha para alumni setelah pulang kampung, apakah terjadi perkembangan atau justru berhenti, serta terbentuknya persepsi tentang kewirausahaan.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, sedangkan informan penelitian sejumlah 4 orang alumni Pondok Pesantren Entrepreneur Kanzun Najah Kota Batu, dengan kriteria alumni yang sangat aktif berwirausaha ketika menjadi santri dengan pendapatan per bulan rata-rata Rp 2 juta atau lebih. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa program atau kegiatan entrepreneur yang dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Kanzun Najah Kota Batu telah membentuk karakteristik dan jiwa entrepreneur pada santrinya dan alumni. Para alumni yang telah pulang dan tinggal di kampung halamannya mengalami stagnanisasi atau bahkan berhentinya kegiatan usaha anggrek yang telah dijalankannya, sedangkan untuk alumni yang memilih tinggal di Kota Malang dan Kota Batu mengalami peningkatan yang positif dan signifikan pada perkembangan usahanya. Beberapa faktor yang menjadi penghambat antara lain: keterbatasan akses ekspedisi, jauh dari produsen anggrek yang berpusat di Kota Malang dan Batu, tidak ada tambahan motivasi atau penyemangat komunitas atau petani anggrek, dan keterbatasan pada sarana-prasana. Sedangkan dalam paradigm (cara pandang atau persepsi santri dan alumni pesantren Kanzun Najah telah tertanam dengan kuat bahwa, kekuatan pondasi atau kemandirian ekonomi merupakan keharusan bagi santri sebagai modal dalam berdakwah.

Abstract

Learning Arabic speaking skills is very important in learning a foreign language because language is a communication tool. However, students experience difficulties in developing Arabic speaking skills. This is due to the lack of student motivation and practice in speaking Arabic. So a project-based learning strategy is used to overcome this problem. This learning process can make students more active and creative in learning to speak Arabic. This research was conducted to describe project-based learning strategies in speaking skills in the Arabic language learning process for class X MAN Batu City students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative, namely describing the data obtained. The data sources in this research are teachers and students of class X MAN Batu City. The data analysis technique used in this research describes the results of observations, interviews, student product results and student responses to the learning process. The findings of this research are that the project-based learning process for class X students' speaking skills at MAN Batu City can stimulate motivation and enthusiasm for learning. In conclusion, project-based learning aims to solve problems and teach students to think critically in the product completion process. The steps that teachers can use in the project-based learning process are: 1) determine the basic problem, 2) create a project plan, 3) work on the project, 4) present the product results, 5) assess, and 6) evaluate. The product results are used as a student portfolio to determine their learning progress. This learning strategy can be practiced by teachers in the process of learning Arabic or other foreign languages.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether there is an influence of self-awareness on the achievement of learning Arabic language students of Muhammadiyah boarding school Purwokerto. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The sample taken was with 30 students. This study used one independent variable, namely self-awareness (X) and one dependent variable, namely learning achievement (Y). The data used in this study were primary data in the form of questionnaires with 30 respondents and secondary data in the form of the last Arabic test scores. This research method uses ex post facto. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple regression analysis. The results of this study are known significance value (Sign.) of 0.03 which means smaller than 0.05. In addition, the coefficient of determination is obtained with a value of 0.280 or 28.0% so that it can be concluded that variable x (self awareness) has an effect of 28.0% on variable Y (Learning Achievement) Keywords : Influence, Self Awareness, Learning Achievement, Arabic
