Abstract

The aims of this research are first, to know degree of business efficiency level of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari Village Ajibarang District Banyumas Regency. Second, to know the income proportion of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari Village Ajibarang District Banyumas Regency is less than fifty percent than the total family income. The tools analysis proposed in this research for knowing the degree of business efficiency level of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters is benefit cost ratio analysis (B/C ratio), whereas for knoing the income proportion of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari toward the total family income is used comparison method (percentage). The results of this research at Traditional Hat (Caping) are first, the average of business efficiency level is efficient and the level of efficiency is 1,45. Then, the income proportion of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari Village Ajibarang District Banyumas Regency is 38,33 percent. It means that 61,66 percent income of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters comes from the other businesses. Based on the findings, it can be suggested that Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari Village Ajibarang District Banyumas Regency should be kept maintaining and even improved by giving guidance, training and education to Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters. The government should help the income of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari Village Ajibarang District Banyumas Regency by establishing a crafters cooperative. As a result, the crafter cooperative can manage the crafters income, and finally the income proportion of Traditional Hat (Caping) Crafters at Banjarsari Village Ajibarang District Banyumas Regency will increase as well.

Abstract

The specific objective of this IbM program is improving production capacity andproduct quality of handicrafts product from coconut shell waste of Karya Batok SMEand Wana Karya Abadi SME as partner for this program.Activities in this IbM program include: (1) Advance training to enhance theknowledge, skills and creativity ability of partners to be able to make various kinds ofhandicraft products made from waste coconut shell with a unique design and attractiveas well high quality; (2) Introduction and application of technology as productionequipment, consisting of circle machine, planer machine, profile machine, grindingmachine and dynamo; (3) Improvement of business management; (4) Extent handicraftproduct promotion techniques; (5) Making a media campaign to introduce the handicrafts product to potential consumers.There are significant differences of conditions before and after this IbM program.The production equipment becomes more complete. This affects the quantity and qualityof handicraft products produced by partners. Types of products increased to 22 typesand the sales increased to 15-20 million per month.

Abstract

This research entiled “Variance Analysis of Incomes and Cost Budget in Multi- Trade Cooperation of Jenderal Soedirman University Employee (KOSUKU) of Purwokerto”. (Case study in Multy-Trade Cooperation of Jenderal Sedirman University Employee of Purwokerto). This research aimed to evaluate the deviation between incomes and cost budget that arranged by KOSUKU and its realization, and to analyze the cause of deviation thet reviewed from the operational of incomes and cost budget.The one of valuation criteria based on Decision of Cooperation State and Small- Middle Trade Minister Number 129/Kep.M.KUKM/XI/2002 about Cooperation Classification Direction is used. Based on variance analysis result, it gained that from three periods of budgeting that evaluated, only 2004 budget that experience difference up to toleration limit. Nonetheless, Trade Gain Residual difference toward budget during 2002-2004 budget period is remain in toleration limit of valuation criteria that stated by Cooperative State and Small-Middle Trade Minister, that is > 100 %.To make perfect the budget arrangement at KOSUKU, it should investigate the buget difference occurred. Then, budget planning that stated in Annual Member Meetingmust be used as direction in cooperation trade application, according to target plannedprior, in order to improve cooperation progress.
