Abstract

The objective of the study was to analyze the role of islamic boarding school in preventing radicalism in Rejang Lebong regency. The study used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection was done though interview, documentation and observation. The result showed that in playing the role, islamic boarding school recently became the target of people's distrust: this was the place of radicalism and terrorism. According to the analysis, there was no school found as the place of radicalism and terrorism. Some schools even actively prevent radicalism and terrorism effectively. In conclusion, the role of islamic boarding schools in Rejang Lebong to prevent radicalism and terrorism through the tight control was effective. Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the management of education in family as the way to create a tranquil family. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive method. The finding was the religous education in family consist of (1) pre and post natal education, (2) breast-feeding and sensitive period education, (3) childhood education, (4) adolescence education, (5) mature education and family education. In conclusion, education was required to be a tranquil family, begun from pre-natal to mature education. Keywords: Management, Religious Education, Tranquil Family

Abstract

The Madrasah principal's strategy is the most decisive factor in the success of maximizing teaching and learning processes at Madrasah. This research was motivated by the difficulties of Madrasah Jauharussa'adah in carrying out learning processes during the Covid-19 pandemic to describe the Madrasah principal’s strategies to maximize teaching and learning process during such. This research adopted a qualitative approach. The consideration of taking this research object was because the researcher wanted to reveal that not a few educational units were confused in carrying out learning processes during the pandemic COVID-19. Meanwhile, the object under study was in the countryside. Data collection processes were carried out by interviews, observations, and documentations. The subjects of this study were the Madrasah principal and the teacher council. The data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the first Madrasah principal’s strategy to maximize teaching and learning processes at Madrasah Jauharussa'adah during the covid-19 pandemic was using a module system. The second strategy was the application of a small-group technique. The module system was implemented in a face-to-face mode. The duration of learning was set to only took 25 minutes.

Abstract

An educational concept known as the Independent Curriculum allows schools more latitude in creating curriculum that meet the requirements of their communities. The goal of this policy is to raise the academic caliber of SMPN students, however there are several obstacles in the way of its execution. Information gathered and acquired by library research. This article analyzes a few of the major obstacles encountered while attempting to raise SMPN students' academic standards. The issues with the autonomous curriculum policy in attempts to raise SMPN students' academic standards are the research's results. These challenges involve differences in quality between schools, difficulties in maintaining consistent educational standards, the readiness of teachers and stakeholders, as well as the need for proper evaluation and monitoring. appropriate. Apart from that, the involvement of parents and other stakeholders as well as an emphasis on local skills are also important aspects in overcoming these problems. This article provides a holistic picture of the condition of the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of efforts to improve academic quality in junior secondary schools, with the hope of contributing to further understanding of the dynamics and improvement of educational policies at the junior secondary school level.
