Abstract

Eksistensi MTs Pesantren Asasul Huda Desa Ranjikulon sebagai salah satu lembaga Pendidikan Islam yang patut diperhitungkan. MTs Pesantren Asasul Huda merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang memadukan sistem pendidikan tradisional dan sistem pendidikan modern. Keadaan ini didukung oleh sumber daya guru yang profesional dan memiliki dedikasi yang tinggi terhadap pengembangan lembaga. Terbukti dalam 3 tahun berjalan lembaga ini mampu berkembang dan bersaing dengan lembaga lain baik kualitas dan kuantitas dalam skala Kabupaten khususnya di Kabupaten Majalengka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru di MTs Pesantren Asasul Huda, dan juga untuk mengetahui penerapan manajemen mutu terpadu dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru tersebut. Penelitian tentang peningkatan profesionalisme guru dan penerapan manajemen mutu terpadu dalam profesionalisme guru Madrasah ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Informan kuncinya adalah Kepala Sekolah sedangkan informan lainnya adalah guru MTs Pesantren Asasul Huda serta para siswa MTs Pesantren Asasul Huda. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Sekolah melibatkan guru dalam pengambilan keputusan dan pemecahan masalah, mendelegasikan guru untuk mengikuti pelatihan, memberikan hak sepenuhnya kepada guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam proses pembelajaran, memberikan pemahaman kepada guru bahwa anak didik adalah mutu utama dalam pendidikan, mendorong guru-guru untuk melanjutkan jenjang pendidikannya serta membina guru-guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan serta mengevaluasi kesulitan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract. The objectives of this research are to find out whether or not there is a significant of difference between the Reading Comprehension of the Twelfth Grade Students of SMAN 1 Jatitujuh taught before and after using the Question-Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy. The method in this study was quantitative. The subject of this research is students in XII MIPA 1. The research instrument used by the writer is a test (pre-test and post-test) The result of this research, it was found that of the reading comprehension of the twelfth-grade students of SMAN 1 Jatitujuh before being taught by using QAR strategy was sufficient, the mean is 69.71. Meanwhile of the reading comprehension of the twelfth grade students of SMAN 1 Jatitujuh after being taught by QAR strategy was categorized good, the mean is 85. Moreover, the calculation of the t-count, the score is 11.867 was higher than t-table, score is 2.032 (11.867 > 2.032) in level significance 5%. Based on the result above, it could be concluded that Question Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy could improve reading comprehension of the twelfth grade students of SMAN 1 Jatitujuh. In addition, the subjects also responded positively the implementation of QAR strategy.

Abstract

To be successful, students must participate actively in the learning process. A scramble, for example, is a method in which each student is extremely active because they are held accountable for the success of their group. One of the learning methods that can be used to help students learn English better is the scramble method. The purpose of this study is to explain how the Scramble learning method improved English learning outcomes for students in the seventh grade at MTs Daarul Uluum PUI Ranji. In this study, Classroom Action Research (CAR) was used in two cycles. Each cycle is divided into four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Cycle I. Planning was based on preliminary observations. Cycle II planning is based on the results of Cycle I reflection. According to the study's findings, using the scramble method to solve the problem of learning English resulted in an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Learning outcomes in the first cycle averaged 76,25, or 75% completeness, and increased significantly to 81.71, or 84% completeness, in the second cycle. This has increased by 9%. As a result, it can be concluded that using the scramble method can improve the English learning outcomes of class VII students at MTs Daarul Uluum PUI Ranji.

Abstract

Era Society 5.0 adalah proses kolaboratif di mana teknologi berfungsi sebagai fondasi dan umat manusia sebagai titik fokusnya (human-centric) (berbasis teknologi). Pendidikan era 5.0 merupakan proses pendidikan yang menekankan pada pengembangan manusia sebagai makhluk yang bermoral, berilmu, dan beretika pada masa kini dan didukung oleh kemajuan teknologi saat ini. Dalam rangka meningkatkan peran tenaga pendidik dalam proses dan hasil belajar siswa diharapkan tenaga pendidik mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar dan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif. Tenaga Pendidik adalah pendidik profesional yang berdedikasi untuk mengembangkan peserta didik dari Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini hingga pendidikan formal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) dilaksanakan dengan tujuan 1) memberikan penyuluhan kepada tenaga pendidik tentang mutu pendidikan; 2) penguatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran.  Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM yaitu penyuluhan yang didalamnya terdapat pemberian materi tentang kompetensi tenaga pendidik. Respon terhadap kegiatan PkM ini sangatlah baik dari peserta maupun mitra sekolah dimana peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini.  Mitra sekolah meminta untuk dilaksanakan kegiatan lanjutan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan siswa dan tenaga pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: Digital literacy competence played an essential role in the growth of university students to achieve their goals of learning. This study was carried out to define the students’ perception of the use of digital literacy in learning English Specific Purposes. The participant consists of the students of the AKPER YPIB Majalengka. 60 students were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The students had a distinctive response regarding the use of digital literacy competence and how they perceive it. This study was a qualitative case study. The data was gathered through open-ended questionnaires and classroom observation. The findings showed that the students had a positive voice regarding the use of digital literacy competence in learning English, they perceived that digital literacy needs willingness and critical thinking skills. Moreover, students’ willingness played a role to find students’ strengths and weaknesses, and students critical thinking skills played an essential to analyze the information and developing their competencies to achieve the learning goals.

Abstract

Students should be able to master four skills in English. They may find it challenging to learn certain skills, particularly speaking. They are hesitant to improve their speaking skills since they do not receive assistance from the environment. The surroundings are not in English. The study aimed at finding out students’ perception of use of YouTube the Channel “lingua marina” in enhancing students’ performance of speaking. The subjects of this research were 10 psychology students of Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya in the fourth semester. The researchers applied the descriptive qualitative method to this study. The data were gathered through questionnaires and interviews. The data were interpreted in the words to show the results of questionnaire and interview. Based on the result of the study, most students agreed that YouTube videos help them increase new vocabulary, when they learn using YouTube videos they can improve their pronunciation, they can speak English fluently using YouTube videos, they shared “neutral” for a better understanding of the material when they watch YouTube videos, they also shared “neutral” that YouTube videos cannot make them bored when learning English, they enjoy practicing speaking English using YouTube videos, they agree that YouTube videos can be a motivational tool in learning to speak English, YouTube videos can help them use good pronunciation, they shared “neutral” that they can organize the ideas using YouTube videos, and they can better understand in guessing unfamiliar words using YouTube videos. Ten students were interviewed about the use of YouTube Videos to improve their speaking skill, and most of them could learn English easily using YouTube videos. They could increase their motivation. They could imitate foreigners speaking English repeatedly and fluently. Finally, they felt easy to memorize new vocabulary vocabularies. To sum up, students can be helped in enhancing their speaking skill by utilizing YouTube videos.

Abstract

Kompetensi guru dalam penyusunan assessment sumatif sangat penting, karena hal ini akan mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran matematika dan hasil belajar siswa. Assessment sumatif berbasis masalah open ended dapat menjadi alternatif yang lebih baik daripada assessment sumatif berbasis pilihan ganda. Seiiring dengan semangat kurikulum merdeka yang mengedepankan penilaian pada kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Namun, fakta yang tim temukan pada guru mitra di KKM MTsN 3 Majalengka masih banyak guru yang memerlukan peningkatan kompetensi dalam menyusun assessment sumatif berbasis masalah open ended, baik dari segi pengembangan soal maupun penilaian. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan kegiatan pelatihan bagi guru Matematika. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan soal assessment sumatif berbasis masalah open ended dan merancang rubrik penilaian yang sesuai. Adapun capaian dari kegitan pelatihan: 1) meningkatkan pemahaman guru agar lebih baik dalam melakukan assessment sumatif berbasis masalah open ended; 2) guru dapat membuat soal yang berkualitas yang dapat mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif; 3) meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika siswa di KKM MTsN 3 Majalengka; 4) kesiapan guru matematika di KKM MTsN 3 Majalengka dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan kreatif.

Abstract

A learning model called blended learning mixes online and face-to-face instruction. It includes multiple implementation techniques, instructional models, and learning styles. The Edmodo application media is one of the educational chances supplied by exploiting current ICT advances. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning using the Edmodo-based blended learning model in improving student learning outcomes in English courses. This study employed an experimental research methodology. Data are grouped and extraneous information is reduced due to the descriptive qualitative approach's framework, which collects data through testing, observation, and documentation. In this study, data analysis started with data collecting and was then condensed, including summarizing, choosing the most crucial information, concentrating on it, searching for themes and patterns, and removing irrelevant information. Based on the research findings, two approaches—online via the Edmodo application and offline—are recommended for implementing the blended learning strategy based on Edmodo (face to face). Students use Edmodo to interact with lecturers and other students during online lectures. Beforehand, the lecturer created a virtual class on Edmodo and connected all the students to it. The in-person meetings include group discussions based on the material covered in the online classes. Events held in person can also be hosted using the Edmodo app. Based on test results and an analysis of the learning outcomes of students who used the blended learning strategy built on Edmodo, it is rated in the very good category.
