Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on improving student academic achievement. The research method used ex-post facto which was analyzed by linear regression analysis. The subjects of the study were students of PKK force of 2016/2017 with a population of 112 students and the calculation result of the sample was 98 students. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The instrument used is a questionnaire and Student Achievement Index. Test Validity 35 statement concerning instrument, whereas all instruments stated reliable with high reliability where 0,807> 0,7. The result of counting of normality test mentioned that count value> 0,05 which mean normal distribution data, whereas linearity test results where 0,025> 0,05 meaning linear data. Hypothesis testing includes simple linear regression analysis showing that F arithmetic (16,507)> F table (3,94) where probability value p (0,000) <0,05 meaning hypothesis accepted. The results of the study showed that self-efficacy had a positive effect on the improvement of student academic achievement.

Abstract

Research is motivated by the needs of good workers in the industrial world. This need can be known from the teacher's understanding of followership value in Vocational High School (VHS)  graduate students. The purpose of this research is to know VHS teacher perception about followership value. The research method used descriptive quantitative. The subject of research is the headmaster and teacher for of VHS Catering Service in Yogyakarta. Determination of sample through purposive sampling counted 20 respondents. The validity test of 27 statements concerning instruments is declared valid. While all instruments are stated reliable with high reliability (0.803> 0.7). An average total score of 3.6 which means highly expected. These results explain teachers' perceptions, one of the followership values of VHS graduate students very well. It explains that teacher perception about the student, that student work attitude is in the follower style with the exemplary follower. The final outcome of the student is expected to become an exemplary worker after graduation.

Abstract

Kebijakan program peningkatan kelulusan tepat waktu di Perguruan Tinggi menghasilkan strategi pelaksanan Praktik Industri. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pelaksanaan PI terhadap ketepatan penyelesaian PI pada mahasiswa prodi PKK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode expostfacto. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi PKK angkatan 2015/2016 dengan sampel sebanyak 54 mahasiswa. Hasil uji validitas diperoleh 5 item dinyatakan tidak valid dan digugurkan karena setiap  item pada sudah terpenuhi. Hasil uji reliabilitas diperoleh bahwa 0,956 > 0,7, dengan tingkat inteprestasi sangat tinggi. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas diperoleh bahwa 0,317 > 0,05 sehingga data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan uji linieritas sebesar 0,377 > 0,05 yang berarti model regresi linear. Pengujian selanjutnya yaitu uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh bahwa F hitung (146,571) lebih besar dari pada F tabel (4,03) dimana p < 0,05. P= 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa strategi PI secara serentak berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan waktu PI. Uji  t sebagai uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa p yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai probabilitas t-hitung sebesar 0,000. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi PI secara simultan dan parsial mempengaruhi ketepatan waktu  PI pada mahasiswa.ABSTRACT Program policies for increasing ontime graduates in tertiary institutions result in the implementation of Industry Practice (IP) strategies. In this study to determine the effect of IP implementation strategy on IP ontime for Family Welfare Education (FWE) study program students. This research uses a quantitative approach with the exposfacto method. The research subjects were students of the 2015/2016 FWE study program with a sample of 54 students. The validity test results obtained by 5 items declared invalid and aborted because each item in has been fulfilled. The reliability test results obtained that 0.956> 0.7, with a very high level of interpretation. Prerequisite test analysis using the normality test was obtained that 0.317> 0.05 so that the data obtained were normally distributed. While the linearity test of 0.377> 0.05, which means the linear regression model. The next test is the coefficient of determination test obtained that the calculated F (146.571) is greater than the F table (4.03) where p <0.05. P = 0,000 <0.05. T test as a hypothesis test found that p is 0,000 <0.05 and the calculated probability value of 0,000. So it was concluded that the IP strategy simultaneously and partially affected the IP ontime for students.

Abstract

The development of digital book through SIGIL application in cookies and candys lessons was motivated by the lack of the interactive learning media for students. The purposes of this study were: (1) to develop digital book through Sigil Application concerning to the understanding and processing candys subject; (2) to know the feasibility of digital book based on the expert’s assessment and student’s view. This study used research and development (R&D) which was modified through ADDIE development model.The  phases of study were: 1) Analysis (needs identification & book prototype formulation), 2) Design ( digital book designing), 3)Development (digital book validation by experts, reading test and media opinion by students, analysis, and revision), 4) Implementation (digital book application for learning), and 5) Evaluation (digital book evaluation). This study was conducted up to third phase - development phases.The results of the study were: 1)  the development of digital book through Sigil Application concerning to the understanding and processing candys, 2) the result from the experts assessment of digital book feasibility is in average percentage  95,23% . As a learning media in cookies and candys lessons, it was estimated “extremely feasible”.However, the result of students assessment in media opinion was regarded positive as it had 91,43% in average percentage which assumed that the digital books were able to be used as cookies and candys learning media.

Abstract

Research aims to representation the application of audio-visual media including planning, implementation and evaluation, inhibiting and supporting factors. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection: interviews, observation, documentation. The validity of the data uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The results of the study (1) the application of audio-visual media include: planning carried out well, audio-visual media contained in the RPP, the implementation has been carried out quite well, the infrastructure facilities in the classroom are inadequate, the evaluation has been carried out quite well, the end of the questioning but evaluation of the use of audio visual media has not been implemented. (2) Factors supporting the easy access of the internet to obtain material and the inhibiting factors for the use of audio-visual media are inadequate infrastructure.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan; (1) untuk mengembangkan e-jobsheet patiseri pada mata kuliah patiseri ;(2) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-jobsheet patiseri. Penelitian ini adaah penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Namun penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap Development. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah Patiseri  sebanyak 28 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Penilaian kelayakan e-jobsheet melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, dan respon mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini berupa; 1) E-jobsheet patiseri 2020 materi mixing method pada pembuatan cake; 2) E-jobsheet pembelajaran yang layak digunakan baik dari segi materi maupun tampilan visual. Kelayakan e-jobsheet berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi dan ahli media dengan persentase 100%, keterbacaan hasilnya sangat layak dengan persentase 78,57% .  Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, E-jobsheeet, Patiseri.   ABSTRACT The research aims to ; (1) . The type of this research is a development research ;(2) Determine the feasibility of e-jobsheet patiseri. This research use ADDIE model with five main stages which are Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. However this research is limited to the development stage. The subject are this study are the student with number up to twenty-eight people. Data was collected using a observation, interview and questionnaire.  E-jobsheet feasbility assessmnt involves material experts, media experts and student responses. The result of this study are ; (1) E-jobsheet Patieri 2020 the topis is mixing method on cake; (2) The E-jobsheet Patiseri is suitable for use as a learning media based on material and media experts is 100% and student response is 78.57%. keyword: Development, E-jobsheet, Patiseri

Abstract

The Home Economic Education department is a vocational study program with 70% of available courses in the form of eyes. One of the practical courses that must be taken is industrial practice (IP). IP was held for 160 hours in the industry and continued with reporting. The problem that often arises in the implementation of the IP is that students are hesitant about the choice of industry type, lack of confidence, and inaccurate time in making reports. The purpose of this study is to find the right model or strategy in determining the implementation of IP. The method used to find data in the study is a questionnaire, and data analysis through SWOT. IP evaluation is taken from the field value and report presentation value. The value of the field has a greater portion than the value of the presentation. From a number of industry value documents, it turns out that there are variations in valuations that are given by the industry. This variation of value is of course based on the ability of each student in terms of readiness to join the IP.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh peranan orangtua, ketrampilan pengelolaan UJB, dan self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan ex post facto. Populasi adalah siswa SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Jasa Boga di DIY. Sampel sebanyak 198 responden ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Penelitian menunjukkan kesiapan berwirausaha relatif sedang (30,8%). Uji hipotesis menemukan bahwa variabel peranan orangtua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha sebesar 0,374 (sig 0,000). Begitu pula ketrampilan pengelolaan UJB sebesar 0,256 (sig 0,000) dan self-efficacy sebesar 0,191 (sig 0,007) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha. Terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara peranan orangtua, ketrampilan pengelolaan UJB, dan self efficacy sebesar 55% terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha. THE ENTREPRENEURIAL READINESS OF THE STUDENTS OF THE FOOD BEVERAGE SKILL COMPETENCY IN PUBLIC VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLSAbstractThe purposes of this research are to reveal the effect of parents` roles, vocational skills in the Food Beverage Business Management, and self-efficacy on the entrepreneurial readiness. This study uses the ex post facto approach. The population is the students of the food beverage skill competency in public vocational high schools in Yogyakarta Spesial Territory. A sample of 198 respondents is established using the proportional random sampling technique. The data are collected using questionnaires and a test. The data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and using multiple linear regression. The results show that almost half (30.8) of students have a low entrepreneurial readiness. The hypothesis testing shows that the parents` roles have a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial readiness as much as 0.374 (sig 0.000). Similarly, vocational skills in the Food Beverage Business Management and self-efficacy have significant and positive effects on the entrepreneurial readiness as much as 0.256 (sig 0.000) and as much as 0.191 (sig 0.007) respectively The of parents` roles, vocational skills in the Food Beverage Business Management, and self-efficacy collectively have the effect of 55 percent on the entrepreneurial readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to produce media products that use culinary-based electronic magazines on blended learning. The method used in this study was research and development. The procedure of media development used the Four-D model to produce learning media based on blended learning. The stages of the study consisted of define, design, development, and dissemination. The stages of development used alpha testing for product validation by learning experts, material experts, and media experts. After that the stages of dissemination, beta testing was performed by testing the product on users in small groups. The subjects of this study were students in foodservice expertise. The results of this study showed that the alpha tests on aspects of media and materials and learning both obtained very high criteria. Furthermore, the average score of all aspects was more than 89% with reasonable criteria. while the beta test results indicated high criteria with the average of students’ reached 86%, categorized as feasible.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on changing the learning model in Indonesia, from conventional learning to virtual learning. This causes a high gap in practicum learning. Where practicum learning that was originally in the laboratory can be applied at home. The purpose of this study was to determine the need for practical learning media for students. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were all UST PKK study program students. Determination of the sample through a purposive sampling of 77 respondents. The validity test of 31 statements about the instrument was declared valid. Meanwhile, all instruments were declared reliable with high reliability (0.705> 0.7). The total score averaged 87.35 which means it is highly expected. This result explained that the need for practical learning media using videos with clear instructions. So that further research needs to develop barcode-based e-job sheets according to the needs of learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic and the development of the digital generation era.
